Naru_Uchiha007 "I had a feeling that you'd be wanting to meet with me up here. Hehe." A voice spoke to Lakshmi as she stood on the roof, back turned to it for the time being. "Guess you really enjoy the view from up here, don't you?" Soon, she could feel Kadar setting a hand on her shoulder, his body close to her own. "So, there seems to be something on your mind... care to share?" As he queryed her, the note delivered to him was shown.

lysia_nyteblade She gave a small start at the sound of his voice. It was the hand on her shoulder that started to break her courage down. What she had to share she knew wasn't the most pleasant, but she also knew it had to be said. Nodding, she lifted her hands and pushed the hood of her cowl down giving his hand a small pat. "I.. I... That is..." She tried to find the words but for some reason they had all left her. As she turned, she glanced all around every where, afraid to meet his eyes. She was afraid her eyes would give it all away as she searched for how to explain it all. "I'm sorry I failed to meet you when we'd planned.. I returned to the Water village.. to... set to ease some ghosts of my past." She figured she'd begin there. It was a good start as any she could think of. "I was also settling some affairs so that I could find a permanent home here in the capital.." She gave a small smile that too was true, and she had found a small humble home of her very own. "I have something that's not easy to say.. and I can't not tell you I can't.. Because You have the right to know..." She could feel her eyes beginning to grow hot with un-shed tears she was willing herself to hold back even as her throat began to feel tight. Turning once more, she looked out over the city, taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly so as to calm herself. It wouldn't help if she broke into any forms of hysterics. "I stayed away because I didn't know how to tell you of my shame.. It was an accident it truly was.. a night of merriment and mead and..." Her hands lifted to cover her face. "And now I have two sons..." She spoke the last bit softly barely a whisper into her hands.

Naru_Uchiha007 "It's alright Lakshmi. I'm not upset because you couldn't meet me like we had intended." Kadar tried to put a positive spin on things even as the fae'jinn spoke, ear giving a twitch as she mentioned easing the ghosts of her past. "We all have things that we need to take care of in our lives... I understand if you had to take the time needed to settle things." There was no apprehension found within his voice, nor was there any signs of anger or regret for what they had come to share in the short time knowing one another. Even when she started tripping over her own words, trying to collect her thoughts, this positive nature remained. Even when sh mentioned her night of merriment, he did feel himself falter, both hands coming to settle on the water jinn's shoulders as hands came to her face. "And let me guess... you felt I might view you differently because you have children?" There was a pause after such words, a soft chuckle escaping him. "I am not that shallow of a jinn to cast you aside just because you are the mother to another's children. That was not how I was raised to be..." He found himself straying closer to her now.

lysia_nyteblade She peeked out from between a few of her fingers, studying him some. She hadn't known exactly what she really expected of things to be honest yet here she was feeling a knot from deep within her gut loosen. "You.. you don't?" Her hands slowly crept down from her face. " I wanted you to hear it from me first.. because.. I've become so very fond of you and I couldn't bear the thought of you having to hear from another..."

Naru_Uchiha007 "Even though it has only been a short time since we first meet, I have grown very fond of you Lakshmi... so, no. I don't view you any differently." A bright smile came to adorn his lips, hands still resting lightly upon her shoulders. "And I do appreciate that you decided to tell me yourself."

lysia_nyteblade She gave a small smile. "I.. Also know your uncle.." She gave a small chuckle. "It's a bit of a long story, that." She let out a slow steady breath trying to quell the terrible things she'd been feeling. Without giving it much of a further thought, she gave him a hug, swift and adding a squeeze to it. " I guess I was being a bit silly.. making a mountain out of a mole hill.. I'm just very glad you don't think any less of me."

Naru_Uchiha007 "So, you know uncle Aodhfin, huh? Guess that means you know two jinn that could get you into the palace, huh?" He chuckled softly, "Oh, I'm sure that it is. You'll have to tell me it sometime." Of course. nothing could prepare him for this hug of her's, arms returning the gesture. "It's alright Lakshmi. If I was in the same situation, I'd probably feel the same way... So it's all good. No harm no foul. right?"

lysia_nyteblade 'Three actually.' She added in her mind but wouldn't say anything to give away that she'd entertained the queen not so very long ago. A small smile formed on her lips turning the edges and softening through the rest of her face as he spoke to her. "I suppose you'd be right.. I couldn't very well begrudge you a roll in the hay with some one." She thought some and knew she couldn't be mad at all. She wasn't so very naive as to think that this couldn't have happened the other way around giving the right, or wrong circumstances. "I know you are not mine so I couldn't hold it against you." She'd been thinking out loud when she said the last bit, having failed to stop her mind from reaching her voice. Upon realizing what she'd just said, she turned her head, hiding it as her hair fell into place. "I'm sorry.. it seems my worries have made my tongue too bold... I meant to say.. well it doesn't matter I suppose.."

Naru_Uchiha007 If he had known she'd entertained the queen, he would have made note of that fact.. but his time was best spent out and amongst the people of the Capital as opposed to being couped up within the palace walls. "You know that I am not your's, huh?" Kadar remarked, giving a rather thoughtful stroke to his chin, trademark smirk coming to cross his lips. "But what if I wanted it to be that way, hmm?" It was obvious he caught onto her words. There was obviously a connection held between them, one which he was willing to explore further.

She'd said it and she wasn't going to try hiding her face no matter how much she wanted to try for it now in the silence.

Naru_Uchiha007 He could feel the slight wince she produced, the hug which embraced her transforming into a soothing one... a finger coming to rest beneath her chin, directing her gaze to his. "Lakshmi... There is nothing to fear due to past transgressions. I hold nothing ill toward you, just as you would not hold anything ill toward me if I had committed the same." A warm smile came to replace the smirk, eyes staring deep into her own. "As for you query... I am more than willing to attempt it as I hold feelings for you, even after such a short time." To further illustrate his point, that hand freed itself from beneath her chin, taking her own in its grasp before setting it over his heart. "Do you feel that?"

It's why I feared you might hold this against me..." Just has he had taken her hand to rest over his heart, so too now did she take her hand from his and bring his hand to feel the fluttering of her own heart in her chest.

Naru_Uchiha007 Kadar could feel the same fluttering coming from her heart, his smile seeming to grow some. "Then it seems to me like your fears can be put to rest... for it looks as if we do hold a connection with one another as our fe elings run deep for one another."His hand soon leaves her chest, hair being brushed away from her face so he could gaze upon it. "And I wouldn't wish to have it any other way... would you?"

Naru_Uchiha007 "That is a very good question in and of itself, dear Lakshmi..." Kadar began, smile never seeming to fade from those lips even as he spoke. "Perhaps we should just enjoy the sunset with one another, giving our minds time to think further on the next steps to this new life, hmm?" He was being truly sincere with her as he spoke such words, eyes never once leaving her own even as the setting sun cast a beautiful reflect across those eyes.
