Name: Rohkea
Meaning: Brave
Personality: Rohkea is a very spirited and strong-willed lioness. As a cub, she will be a little hot-headed. She is slightly exasperated by the expectations of her and wishes she could go out on adventures with the males, but she would never disappoint her parents so she behaves as she should - albeit a bit grudgingly. She is a very loving and gentle lioness (which will show through once she stops being a pain in the tail).
Future Plans (Brief, please!): Her attitude towards "being a female" will give her mother - and maybe her father - a little grief. Rohkea will realize that the roles females play are actually crucial to the pride (probably in adol stage). Rohkea will relent her hot-headed ways and happily start a family.

Meaning: "Pure" in Finnish
Personality:
Kaija is anything but pure, despite what her traditionalist parents desire of her. As a cub, she is the rebellious type. A tom-boy at heart, she finds it difficult to adhere to her parents' expectations of females. Instead, she would rather be out hunting with the boys - and does so, on numerous occasions. She is a breaker of norms; a seducer of men, but only for the fun of it. Driven to become this way due to her parents' stringent beliefs, Kaija is known as a trouble-maker throughout the pride. Although she does not mean to be a burden, she just is.
After truly growing up, however, she will fall into the role expected of her and finally understand the meaning behind her pride's values. She will become a devoted mother and produce cubs in the name of the Stormborn. But this change in manner comes almost hypnotically - as though she were falling into place with the pride simply because she were driven to near madness. Fretful and unsatisfied with her life, she will occasionally go on secret hunts to release the immense power and desire raging through her veins.
Future Plans (Brief, please!): I could see her being put in an arranged marriage with someone she doesn't like and rebelling against it, only to give in for love of her family and their wishes (but to always feel some animosity towards her mate). As a cub, she'd be getting into a lot of trouble, breaking the norms as a female and trying to hunt, and overall being a trouble-maker for her mother - but always, indefatigably loving and respecting her.

Meaning: Noble Battle
Personality: Jal will hold herself with an appropriate amount of pride and grace. She'll be fiery at heart, and often feel the need to be more expressive and rambunctious as she grows, but the pressure of her father's position will be more than enough for her to hold her tongue. She has an immense amount of respect for her father, and will hold true to how traditionalists believe she should act. She believes it to be culture, and one should have enough respect to act how they should. She'll voice this opinion often to those against traditionalist ways. This isn't to say, though, that she won't have moments when she wishes to act out of some sort of inner fire. This will be more likely to happen more when she's young, though.
Future Plans (Brief, please!): I like the idea of having her in an arranged marriage that she might not be to happy in. This could either end up with her biting her tongue and sticking with it, out of respect for her parents, or quietly pulling away from their belief. It's unlikely that she'll ever have non-traditional views, though. Also, some teen-angst-rebellion family plots, that'll end with her "just dealing with it" would be fun.
