[PRP] Don't Treat Me Like That (Sammy v Jove)

Sammy groaned. "Would you stop being a spoil sport, and just start fighting?" She shook her head again fixing her shirt "I'm not some spoiled ghoul flower, I pick fights with everyone and everything, you came here to spar or something so lets -go- already!"

Jove looked like he was locked in an angry internal debate. He did come here to fight someone, that much was true. And he had found someone who was willing to fight. But it was a ghoul. And he didn't want to hit ghouls...

But... she wanted him to hit her. And now that he really thought it over, wasn't that the reason she was picking on him? Trying to goad him into a reaction? And it had worked. So... wouldn't it be best to just hit her like she wanted? He didn't want her to think he was afraid he'd get his butt kicked!

The little ghost made a little murmur of displeasure as he tried to figure it out. Couldn't he make an exception this one time? Sammy was tough, kinda like Levi. He would fight Levi too, wouldn't he?

Finally the pup punched Sammy again. Weakly.

Sammy watched as the poor pup seemed to debate the situation. She continued to pace in front of him, the rattling sound of dog tags around her neck as she paced.

He studied her for a moment and then thump! He punched. There was a weight behind it, intent to harm, the faintest flicker of fear fueled behind it trying to break her form.

"Much better."

She hopped once, twice, and snapped her fist out right at Jove's chest, a faint chill left where the blow hit and her purple flames touched.

"But you have to try harder then that."

Jove winced, not liking the feel of her punch at all. That wasn't merely a physical blow, maybe it was the ghoul's natural fear or something, but it felt odd. Cold in a way he didn't like, which was telling for a pup who was usually impartial to temperature.

But his reaction time was decent, instead of responding with a punch he snapped back with his sharp teeth.

The pup was startled by her natural FEAR, thankfully she hadn't pumped her full fear into it else the effect would have been far nastier, instead it was only a fleeting feeling that added to the already annoying sensation of being punched in the chest.

She continued to rock side to side for a moment when Jove suddenly lunged forward, she expected a fist she moved her left arm...

... and Jove chomped down on blackened bones. The Foxfire ghost was clamped down on bone stressing it with grinding teeth, like an oversized minipet that hadn't learned not to bite.

"Bad boy. You're like a Minipet..." She stepped in letting him keep his teeth on her bones before raising her other arm dropping her elbow down hard on his shoulder.

"Drop it!"

The pup growled, and chomped harder, undeterred by the blow to his head. This was how he was comfortable fighting, using his natural weapons to his advantage. Sure it brought him within range of Sammy's forceful attacks, but at the same time, it was best for him to stay close.

He was not a minipet, that was for sure. He had a harder bite than any foxfire he had trained.

Sammy felt the growl before the bite, vibrating all the way through her before the teeth clamped down again squeezing at the bone.

"Bad Boil."

Giving a shake of her arm she brought her elbow down on Jove's poor head once again.

Being beaten over the head once didn't dislodge the pup, but after the second blow, he let go and snapped at her other arm. He might be a gentleman, but at the same time, he was a creature of Halloween. And any creature of Halloween with teeth such as his own had to take at least a little pleasure from sinking them into the flesh of their prey. Punching was definitely not his strong point but... one couldn't say he was left helpless.

She felt that one a bit more, the few dead nerves she still animated in her right arm jumped at the foxfire clamping down on them. Sammy let out only a slight hiss of frustration as it was getting rather annoying trying to fight with something clamped on her arm like this.

"So you fight with teeth huh? Well we both know we're made of a lot more then that..." Her left arm was free, the purple fire flared up around it from finger tip to elbow chilling the air around them. She raised her fist high and brought it down hard on Jove's head crashing in with the nastiest left hook she could manage while he was still on her arm.

The result would be an explosion of the queer cold chill that Jove felt earlier when being punch. This time though it would last far longer disorienting and stinging where the blow landed.

"I said drop it boil... you best listen."

Effect: Painful chills through Jove's head.

Sammy would have felt an uncomfortable crunch of bones giving way, and Jove reeled back, stunned by the blow. He would have fallen to the ground, but caught himself with his invisible tendrils. His small body looked like a marionette as he pushed himself back into a standing position. Blood and sharp teeth fell to the ground as he coughed.

When the little ghost looked back at his opponent, his left ear looked crumpled, crushed, and dark blood had begun to ooze from his forehead and the corner of his left eye. It slowly streamed down his face, making the pup look more like roadkill than a sparring partner. He stood like that, just staring for a minute, and spread out his tendrils to absorb as much FEAR from the environment as he could. That had really hurt, and left his body feeling unusually numb and cold.

But he was still standing.

Sammy instantly regretted her decision to hit the poor boil so hard. Her FEAR had been out of check, she hadn't used it in so long that it must have been a surplus stored inside her aching to get out.

She stumbled back from Jove still in a defensive stance, a hit like that was sure to ruffle some foxfire fluff. Instead Jove seemed to stand up levitated by some unseen force holding him in place, blood oozing all over his face and a few teeth dropping out.

"S-s**t I didn't.... you okay? We can stop now... I didn't realize how long it had been and I kind of.... went a bit too far."

Jove wiped at his freckled face with one sleeve, no doubt there were bruises on his cheek by now... He was feeling a bit better already thanks to his FEAR absorption, but he must have looked quite the mess, and the pup knew it would take some time for the bruise to fade and the teeth to grow back. That was just how he was.

But an honest fight, this was what he needed.

His one ear perked as she backed off, his bloody face registering surprise and confusion. No, he was okay! He might have been small, and his body might appear fragile, but he could take a lot before the damage finally got him down. He let out a little growl and bared his remaining teeth as he took a defensive pose. Come on, don't abandon the fight yet!

Sammy stared for a moment watching as the other student backed up into a defensive stance growling for her to continue.

His face was swelling teeth missing and spitting blood but somehow still standing. So she could only shrug, the next thing Jove would notice was a shimmer of purple fear seeming to peel away from Sammy as her body went limp in it stance. The next thing he would see was Sammy lunging towards him shockingly fast for a corpse, the blows that followed where just as fast as her body snapped and cracked with each blow pushing beyond the limits of what a normal body could do.

Fist, elbows, boots, they all found bits and pieces of Jove's body before Sammy finally put one boot to his chest pushing him away with the last blow before seeming to snap back to attention and slump over as if her whole body was in some kind of pain.

"Told you... not to keep going..."

Once again Jove was struck a violent blow, and bones that had repaired themselves cracked once again under the attack. For a second he couldn't draw in a breath. But he didn't need one to keep going.

The pup skidded to a stop, using one hand to help break his fall, and then he sprang forward. It wasn't as fast as the ghoul's own movements had been just moments ago, but he had puppy vigour on his side. He ran forward and instead of punching or biting or kicking, he merely wrapped his arms around Sammy's neck.

And then suddenly a cloud of stinging spores filled the air around the two of them.

Jove was totally going to keep going.

Effect: Y1 Swift Strikes, these mushroom spores sting in the eyes and nose and mouth and anywhere else with exposed tender bits. Don't inhale. =<

He was hugging her... this litle boil who's bleeding all over her shirt, missing teeth and just generally looking like crap wrapped around her. He didn't tumble from her last kick, but was now wrapped tight around her.

The air suddenly filled with smoke and Sammy frowned squirming a bit. At first it was like an itch crawling along her skin, she took one slight sniff and stopped mid ******** cloud drifted higher and reached her hollowed eyes, what itched and burned her skin was twice as bad in her eye sockets, even closing them did nothing but trap a small cloud inside the sockets causing her to squirm against Jove.

"S'nofa...Jackdammit!"
