Quick note, since it seems to be coming up in a lot of entries for the boy:
Enda rank is not common, for pretty big IC reasons (most Vultures that dedicated have to be gotten at birth or before birth, and this is rare on its own and not a 'practiced' art by the pride). Anyone who wishes to obtain one OOCly is going to have to prove themselves active in the pride first.
While there's nothing wrong with having a character who strives towards being an Enda, and may even go to bad ends ICly to try and make this happen, just keep in mind that this contest can't and won't give out Enda OOCly.
Hope this clears things up.

Name: Lindani - Wait. Personality blurb: Lin is, at his core, incredibly conflicted about a lot of things. He's largely unassuming as a whole and even flighty when it comes to actual conversation, and has developed his skills at quietly sneaking away from large groups of lions to where he actually succeeds more often than not. Lindani is a huge lion who really would have preferred if he would've stayed small, and he seems to still not be entirely accustomed to his size--even then, he's a fairly skilled hunter, but tends to trip over his own paws a lot. He's somewhat self-conscious, particularly about the pernicious stutter he developed as an adolescent. He'd really like nothing more than to vent all his building thoughts and frustrations to somebody (or something--it could very well be a rock a safe distance away, he isn't picky), but is far too scared that his uncertainty about being an ahluke will earn him a swift kick out of the pride or something worse. Overall, Lindani just isn't a guy you'd have to worry about, and he plays very far on the side of caution to avoid stepping on anybody's toes, even if he sometimes manages to do just that in a literal sense. There are always so many apologies spewed afterwards. Future Plans: While he's sworn an oath of celibacy, Lindani isn't entirely sure that that was the right choice for him. No, he doesn't have any interest in the females of his pride, but he's constantly worrying that maybe someday he'll find The One and screw everything up just to get to be with...them. Lin does like females in general, though he hides this fact quite well, but he's far more interested in finding himself another male that he wouldn't have to worry about breaking every time they cuddled or something. Maybe he can find himself a partner that fits him well, though I have no doubt that this would take a while.
As far as cub-rearing goes, Lin wouldn't be bad at it, despite his moderately nervous demeanor. I have no doubt that he'd eventually wind up with a group of 'favorites', even if he liked most if not all of the ones he'd tended to. He'd be incredibly protective of these cubs, and he'd do his best to ensure that they grew up strong pride members, making sure that they knew as much as he could teach them.
When Lin is a little farther away from the threshold of adulthood, he'll take an interest in training at the Firekin outpost, reasoning that it would likely help him get all his paws underneath him. After all, learning something of the Firekin's combat discipline would probably go a good ways towards being less of an accidental bull in a china shop--that, and Lin certainly wouldn't object to getting better at using his strength and size in a way that benefits his pride.
And perhaps way later on down the line, Lindani could adopt a cub or two of his own. Finding himself a mate would have reassured him a good bit, and he'd actually consider himself good enough father material to raise a cub that wouldn't think of him as just a caretaker.

Ah, I can't resist anymore X3
Name: Nehanda - hardiness Personality: When Han was born, she was very ill. She was quiet and very still for the first few weeks of life, and it didn't look like she'd survive, but the little cub never gave up. Her determination saw her through the illness, and she survived. The damage had been done, though, and Han had trouble her whole life keeping up with cubs her age, taking down prey as she grew older, and keeping food down after not eating for a few days. She never let her shortness of breath or small size get in the way of her amazing outlook on life. Every day is a gift, she feels, and she will enjoy each day to the fullest. Her optimism and determination keep her going despite her stunted growth and poor lungs, and she's often found bringing a smile to just about everyone's face. She does her share in hunting when she can, and doesn't feel as though she should be treated differently.
Taking after her mother, she admires and prizes those males with darker manes and coats, although she knows she'll probably never be picked to mate with any of the males that come into power. She hates to let her mother and father down, and will do anything they ask of her. Her family - both blood and pride - are her life, and she would do anything for their happiness.

Name: Mashaka Personality: Mashaka is a lioness who has a very open view of the world and is still able to hold her own set of morals. She holds the utmost respect for her father and it is from him that she takes some of her views. Mashaka, however, does not fit into any of the traditional female roles. Like her mother she enjoys going to the outpost and in fact spends most of her time either training or sparring. Mashaka still holds the traditional belief that males need to fight for their right to breed but it's more because as a fighter herself she understands what it's like to really work for something you want. Thus, males who haven't proven themselves are more wishy-washy to her. They "suddenly" decided to mate with a female and that doesn't sit well with her. She's a female with a hard exterior but is rather soft on the inside. Mashaka does have some worries mostly because she is more "male" like than female like (though she very much likes males and has no interest in females).

Because you know I can't resist naturals... xd ;
For the boy
Name: Thandeka'isibili (Second favorite) Personality blurb: Thandeka is a head-strong young lion, bold and full of ideas. He looks up to his father with a great deal of respect, and nearly as much to the lionesses - After all, if it weren't for them, he'd not have had a full belly growing up; He's not keen on the other two Umholi, but he DOES show the Inslelo almost as much respect as the lionesses.
The Firekin are something of a curiosity to Thandeka, though he fears them one day taking over their home. He does like the fact that the lionesses are training so they can fight as well in case an Umholi or Inslelo isn't around, but that makes him no less wary. Future Plans: Thandeka wants to lead his own pride - Not his birth pride, of course, but a sister-pride to the Ithambo. He would, of course, seek his father's permission to do such a thing, so that in the future, the two prides can perhaps meet at the winter grounds, swap stories, and maybe even sometimes members.
For Snow White
Name: Inhliziyi'namandla (Powerful heart) Prompt Number: 1 Prompt reply: Little Inhliziyi had always been know, up to that point in her life, for her big heart. She loved everyone, regardless of their rank, from the mighty Abaholi down to the scrawniest Lusizi. To her young eyes, everybody was seen as equal.
She looked to her friend, pathetic and scrawny as they came, then looked to her brothers, sisters, aunts, and cousins and the other lionesses eating. Her mother shoved her at the food, telling her again to eat. But still her eyes were drawn to her Lusizi friend.
Finally, Inhli could take it no more and walked away from the meal. When the Abazingeli turned to look at her, her mother asking why she wasn't eating, Inhli sat down next to her friend, a big frown on her face. "I'm not eating until my friend eats!"
Her ears folded at the scolding, as she was reminded of how fortunate she was to have a present and living father, but the pale cub continued to sit with her friend.
She didn't care that she fell asleep hungry that night, or any night after that, as she continued to refuse to eat before her friend.
For the Personality Contest
Name: Inganekwane'khulu (Big tale, because I couldn't get a translation of boast or brag) Personality: Of those of the litter who are pale, Khulu sees herself as the best. She believes she hunts the best, blends the best, she sees herself as the biggest sister of the three(This may be debatable, of course), and she will be the first to agree with the Abaholi.
Deep down, though, Khulu is afraid. She's secretly unsure of her own skills as a huntress, boasting and bragging about them just so that others won't see it. She also fears her and her siblings losing their 'favored' status, as she sees it, about being Umhole Gakere's first litter being lost by an overthrow by a rogue. She won't admit it, but she looks to even the Inslelo, knowing that he saved them from possibly being eaten, to keep the pride safe.
It seems such a thing too soon, but she will deeply miss any of her brothers who have to leave the pride because they're adults. For all her dainty act as a perfect huntress, she enjoys rolling and tumbling with her brothers as if she were a male herself, but still going back to hunting in the morning or evening.

Name: Ixoxo (frog in Zulu) Personality: Ixoxo got her name since the first noises she made as a cub were more frog-like than lion like. Her voice is still very… let’s just call it distinctive and leave it at that. Yeah. Better not talk about her voice at all unless you want to get into a fight about it. You don’t want her to start yelling at you. Trust me on this. But if you steer clear of that particular topic the tan female is usually pleasant to be around.
The traditionalist mindset of her relatives on her mother’s side will be somewhat balanced by the influence of her kind hearted grandmother Nahmba. Other lions tend to think that Ixoxo shares their views, because she can hold a civil conversation with almost anyone even when discussing heated topics (as long as the topic isn’t “why is your voice so squeaky”). She blends in, keeps her own opinion to herself, and she might shock those that thought they knew her down the line.
Name: Temitope (“Enough to give thanks” in Yoruba (West Africa)) Personality blurb: Proud, strong and yes… a little bit over confident due to being spoiled rotten. He’s used to achieving things without breaking his back over it. Future Plans: He’ll leave the pride with his brothers, with the intention to grow stronger in the roguelands. (He is already strong, thank you very much.) When he sets out it’ll be with the intention to come back and defeat his own father one day. He will do okay out there, and he’ll be a bit disappointed that he’s just doing okay.
I’d like for him to try to come back eventually. Not sure if I want him to try to beat an Inselele or if I want him to get his a** handed to him by the Abaholi and sent on his way. I don't know if he'd swallow his pride and accept a position as Inselele actually... He might rather leave and try again when he have trained more.
