Not agreeing quite with Mark's way of interpreting Revelation. We see from other passages in the Bible that the Antichrist is a man (see Daniel, 2 Thessalonians), so it follows that some of his interpretations here are not in line with the rest of Scripture. - Garland
There are several interpretations of who the rider on the white horse is in Revelation 6:2. Note that he has a bow, but there is no mentioning of arrows. I can't find anywhere in the Bible where bows are mentioned as God's weapon. Help me out if you know any verses. Usually it is a sword (Revelation 2:16). It seems natural to me interpreting Revelation 6:2 - in light of verses such as Ephesians 6:16.
There are many Gematria relationships found in both the Old and New Testament writings. Mystical interpretations could can be discovered as well as "inferred" by examining the mathematical equivalents of various numeric words and then attempting to discover what those mathematical relationships might mean. Though it does seem that there are some very legitimate and interesting Gematria relationships found in the Bible, we can also see that Kabbalists could take the phenomena too far in their esoteric and mystical explanations of Scripture.
In response to Satan not being able to entrench people against receiving the Gospel;
2 Corinthians 4:4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
Peter instructing the elders and the flock;
1 Peter 5:8-9 8 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 9 Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.
