God Of The Ska strawberry poo kmoo God Of The Ska strawberry poo kmoo God Of The Ska strawberry poo kmoo The Jace God Of The Ska Kyoko Toshi God Of The Ska ROFL! heart But,I actually picked up skankin' really fast. Nobody told me how, and I did it right. Same here xD But this is Ska School!~ Honestly though, I dont think there's any way to skank right. Or wrong, for that matter. Thanks GL ^^ EXACTLY! As long as you are moving and having fun, nothing else matters i definitely agree with that. the only frustrating part is trying to skank with stupid emo kids who knock you over and fat drunk metal heads who shove you around : feels offended : why does it seem that the ska community is against emo? Ska and emo are the EXACT opposites. Ska=Happy, lively music. Emo=sad, dead music. And trust me, the two different fans DO NOT mix well stressed lol. all music makes me happy XD. I never considered it sad and dead... anyways, emo stands for 'emotional' O_o XDXD I guess I'm more of an idiot than I thought. If emo is sad and dead, then why don't they just call it gothic and get it over with? XD. I don't see the point for having two different names for the same type of music. Oh well. XD Personally I agree XD. I don't think emo should even exist, then, as a genre. Emo's *supposed* to stand for 'emotional', and if they're only sad, they're not emotional... they're sad XD. Emo *should* cover a wide range of emotions, or have a lot of emotion put into it, or whatever XD That's a good way to think of it.
*That's* because I'm extremely good at thinking, you see. I think that we should make some music or start a band or whatever, and have *true* emo. Not fake emo. lol

^_^ yeah. I *so* wish I could play a brass instrument. The only one I can play, though I'm pretty darn good at it, is piano. ;-;

King Of The Ska girl_no_13 Parapluie Alright, now I know for sure. Just about everytime I try to describe the history of ska to someone I tell them it's where reggae got it's roots and nobody believes but this is the third source that's said that. how could people not believe that? For a start in lots of the early music you can hear it! Easy. People=idiots. Actually alot of sources I looked up a while ago said it came from reggae but showed no prof of it. dictionary.com says it just comes from jamacia and this other info site (omg...can't..rember...name...it's a nice well known site) said reggea came 1st.
Also most people don't believe it because Ska is a subculture and reggae is more accpeted and known. Or they are dicks? W/e you want to think,

Elleyea skainhisears Ska is dance music. That's pretty much all there is to it. if you can sit in a room and just listen, i don't think you count as a true skankster... I agree When ever im listening to ska music on my ipod i can never sit still and it always freaks my sister out...which looks funny. lol when I walk to class listening to ska I have like a bounch in my step and I get a lot of wierd looks from that.
