I discovered zOMG a bit after I started on Gaia, and back then I didn't liked it so much, it was just there but it was of no importance to me.
Now, what really made me get into zOMG was problems & unnecessary online drama with people I considered really good friends for a very very long time but in the end showed their true face. At first, it wasn't very appealing but I met some wonderful people after a while, and I just loved the whole idea of teaming up/fighting agaisnt monsters, etc...
I considered zOMG my escape from many things, it really worked for me and to be honest, I find people there to be way different (in a good way) compared to the other hangout spots (Hollywood/Rally mostly), it was rather a great experience.
I can say without exaggerating that I've lost a piece of myself when they announced that zOMG was really done, even when I already suspected it wasn't going to return...I guess it's true that hope is the last thing you lose.

You know what? I just remembered something. A LONG time ago, before zOMG came out, I had saw a video of someone playing zOMG. It looked stupid and all it was was fighting. You didn't do quests or exploring. You just fought. It was a battle where you took turns. Anyways, after watched the "leaked" video (or zOMG teaser?), I thought I would try zOMG to see how it turned out. Happy to say it exceeded my expectations.

hmmmmm I went on zOMG after I had met someone in ORIGINAL OLD SCHOOL Towns, since they wanted to do some Papa Saw. I then got addicted since it was a easy way of earning gold, & let me meet people in a more fun way. It seemed as if i could interact more with people (online-wise) since we had to work in a group, & if there was a quiet moment it wasn't so bad.

Hi Raven it's been a while if u don't remember me it's Clown The Abstracted King of Clowns lol The one who got banned at Mars wedding rofl Sadly I'm still not officially on Gaia but I I'm mostly in chatterbox these days. Lol Clown long time no see and oh, guess that explains why I don't see you much nowadays.

I was playing gaia when they first announced the release of zOMG! Given that it was a brand new game to add to the collection of Puzzles, Word Drop, Fishing, I was pretty excited.
When it came out, I was one of the first people to have played the game. The story captivated me right from the get-go, and I loved the whole idea of an MMO without PK and all.
I gave up on gaia a few times, took long breaks, but one of the main reasons why I always come back to gaia is because of zOMG! So for me, it really isn't what made me play zOMG!, it's zOMG! itself that made me play. C'mon, compared to puzzles and fishing, it was the coolest thing gaia's ever made :]

I found zOMG and started following the questline. As I did so, I noticed I was slowly gaining money/items/rings. I made a personal promise to collect every ring (which I fulfilled), but along the way I made some friends and they are what kept me here and still keep me here. When all my friends are gone, I will be gone with them.

I joined and started playing zOMG! when the announcement came out that it was open to all users or sometime after it was opened to all users. Decided to give it a try and absolutely loved it. It was my very first MMO and game ever so I got addicted pretty quickly. I think I hit CL 10.0 within 2 months, I was in school at the time so didn't get to play very often but tried to level as quickly as I possibly could. Since then, I spammed Smeb and Smob runs with friends a lot til they decided to nerf the gold rate. That kinda killed off a lot of people since that was the main way to make gold back in the day... But bleh. The storyline from each quest made me fall in love with zOMG! even more which, at the time, made me love Gaia even more. It was what kept me on Gaia, even when Gaia turned into a greedy s**t bag but whatever.

It was an escape from the rather conservative society to hang out with people and be yourself for a while. A stress reliever if you must. In all the only reason that I ever came to gaia. If they actually scrap it without any shred of hope remaining, I will delete my account and get lost from here.

Why i came to Zomg? well i came to zomg to help people , and i also needed a place to hang out so why not zomg? haha Zomg means alot to me, but i can inmagen that the admins removed it. they made no profit to keep the site running, it was easy to get gold and sme thigs were in-fixable. i'm not an admin, but i've been paying attention to what happend to zomg before the shut down. like the : bugs, glichtes and the people that were online that were starving each day. so i kinda understand why they shut it down, to many fixes a day.
PS. all i can say is rip Zomg, there are many places to hang out am i right? not as the ones of Zomg but in rally or town.
