Prompt Response: News had reached Koira's ears, she was giddy with excitement, she knew the time had come at last. Time to take down the Suka'Fumo. Koira had held a grudge against the pride she formerly called home ever since she was an adolescent. Ever since the male that she was in love with was tormented and tortured and in the end died, all because of his colour. Unlike her he didn't have a speck of purple and she hadn't cared one bit, but the truth of the matter was under the king of the time she would never have been able to be with him, no she was purple and noble and would have to marry another noble. After her love had died she ran hard and fast into the forest.
Now however news of a celebration happening in the pride, they had all gathered and were partying she knew in her gut this was the time to take them down. As far as Koria knew they had no idea that she and the rest of the Ujini'Haragi were in the woods, and had been for so long ready for the attack. She moved swiftly through the forest searching out Oppilan another female purple in colour who was ready and willing to fight.
Koria was running through the plans in her head, she had been planning this for years and she knew that she wanted to strike. The nobles and the kings family would have to be the first to go. If there was no royal family there would be no one to lead, the rest could go free. Koria wanted to free the pride from the oppression she was sure they suffered. They had to move fast though, come through the forrest strong and confident. They couldn't hold back, and when they got there they had to strike hard, no sympathies. Just like the pride had had no sympathy for her long lost love.

Meaning: Cunning; Swahili
Prompt Response: The dark purple lioness had been on her way to speak with her superior when a lithe-bodied lion found his way to her. She had sent him to spy on their vile neighbors, the Suka'Fumo, knowing that his colors may mark him as a Groundling from what she had heard of the vagabonds near her former pride.
Her former pride... She growled at the mere mention of their name. While she hadn't been cast out as many Ujini'Haragi members had been, she did not agree with the the king's ways. He became all the angrier and she would've spoke out against him, had he not clearly displayed that all who did so would be killed on the spot. She was not stupid enough to throw her life away over a snide comment, so when she heard of the Ujini'Haragi, she abandoned the Suka'Fumo without so much as a word behind her.
She had climbed the ranks of the forming pride with ease, as she had one steady goal in mind: She wanted to kill that tyrant of a king and all that followed him in any regards. His son had abandoned the pride and that made him just as bad as his father. She didn't have the leadership skills that her superior Oppilan did, but she was quick of wit and had a mind of her own for violence. It was this intellect that made her think to send out the spies to the Suka'Fumo pride.
Hila hadn't thought much of his absence as she plotted with Oppilan on their next move against their enemy pride, but now that he had returned and with such good news, she praised him for his excellence and skill. She told him to follow her and they set off towards Oppilan's den, to tell her of the change of leadership. They had been waiting for a time to strike the Suka'Fumo pride down and now they had it within their grasp.
Once upon a time...
Name: Kanohi Koura
Meaning: Gold Eyes; Maori
Personality: Koura was naive once, thinking that everything would be peaches and cream in the Suka'Fumo. She had loved plays more than anything else and reveled with the players, occasionally joining in herself!
What a fool she had been, to think that time would last forever. Now, the purple lioness has hardened in both exterior and interior design. She became a fighter and harbored a strong hatred for the king that had cast her out. She wanted him to suffer and fear as she had when she had been exiled from the pride.
However... She wasn't sure on whether she wanted him dead. She'd seen lions "die" in acts the Players would put on, but she had never seen someone truly dead before... And somewhere, buried under her distrust and anger towards the Suka'Fumo, she wishes for a moment where she could go back to her nativity, where she was surrounded by singing and dancing and revelry. She would do anything to have such a time become her life again, if such a feat were even possible.
History: Koura had been a Noble during the time of the old king, when everyone lived in harmony and got along pleasantly. Her parents before her had been nobles and before them and so on and she came from a grand set of purple. Sure, her coat was a few shades lighter than everyone else's, but her mane and tail colors were quite truly the noble-ranked hue. She was certain that there could be no denying this and she thought it would secure her rank forever more.
How wrong she was.
Their beloved old king died and the heir that took up his position was no more than a tyrant. He was a purple purist and claimed that any others that didn't look like himself were to be banished. Koura was one of the first to be expelled from the pride. This new king labeled her coat as pink and when she tried to protest, he had her chased from his lands, with the order that she was to be killed.
Scared and full of heartache for her former pride, Koura turned to the small and growing Ujini'Haragi for aid. Many took a more bitter turn at the king's villainy of casting them aside for their appearances and over time, Koura adapted to this way of thought and joined them in their hatred for the king.
Yes, she had made her decision: She would fight with them... And afterwards? Maybe they could start remodeling the Suka'Fumo to what it had been, so that Koura could be full of laughter and merriment as she once had been.
I'm what no one believes
Name: Amer (formerly Terre)
Meaning: Bitter; French (formerly Earth; French)
Personality: Brown was never really a pretty color, especially not when surrounded by a pride of purple, but the muddy-coated lioness never took any particular offense by the ranking system. She wasn't discriminated against for her coat (not as a youth anyway) and she was training to become a Player just as a purple-coated feline could. She was happy and content, and then this was stripped from her as the new heir turned king rose to power.
He called her filth and dirt and all manner of vile names. She had never felt such a discrimination upon her person before and it was hardly surprising that she left with a bitter taste in her mouth. She kept this taste within her, turning it into a growing emotion, until it filled her so much that she changed it to her name. She would remember her bitterness against the Suka'Fumo forever and she would use it as fuel to becoming stronger and harder. A cub no more, she could not be expected to sit around and play-pretend. Her new pride was going to war, she just knew it and she wasn't going to hold them back.

Name: Pono
Meaning: Trustworthy; Maori
Personality: Pono had been loyal to the Suka'Fumo king. He had pledged his strength and service to him. He mourned the old king's death, for he was a truly just and noble ruler, and he had expected to serve his heir in the same manner, until one of them died.
This belief was shattered when he received the news that he was being thrown from his pride at the word of the heir-made-king. He demanded explanation, wondering if he had somehow wronged this new king in some manner, only to find it was purely aesthetic. He wore a teal coat not a purple one and therefore he wasn't allowed to serve any longer. You can imagine Pono's reaction. He, who had been loyal, so trusting, and such a grand soldier, suddenly exiled because he wasn't pretty enough? It didn't sit too well with him, but he didn't wish death upon himself so he left. He joined the Ujini'Haragi with a burning hatred for the Suka'Fumo, its king, and all those that had been chosen to stay. He became a tutor for the young soldiers to be and his name took on a different meaning in his own mind. You could be certain that he would be the one to kill the devil king and his kin, if he were ever given the opportunity.
