Jasiri would have to have been completely deaf to miss Ukulambile's call for arms, and as he ran closer he heard Ifunci too. This was not good at all. He stopped to catch his breath and assess the situation before joining the fray.
Andhaka was wrestling a large, red male, and his own son was on the ground nearby. He could see Ifunci move, and then sit up. Not dead, good. A second, smaller male was trying to pin Han down. Isasa looked muddy and angry, but not hurt. And... Who was that flopping around in the mud? The hunting party had only had four members.
How on earth did that Enda get here before him? It wasn't even his job to protect the females of the pride. The male seemed incapacitated so Jasiri dismissed him for now and decided to try to attack the white male, hopefully without squishing Han in the process.
His claws made contact with the white males hide and he raked them across his flank. Hopefully he could distract the male and get him away from Han.

Han wasn't used to things she attacked fighting back, so when the male pulled away and pounced, she was left standing still in surprise. The larger lion pinned her to the ground despite her squirming, fear taking hold of her. She had taken him by surprise but had obviously not done enough to deter him from whatever it was the males were here to do.
A vicious roar made her look up and another red male joined the scene. This one she recognized and a wave of relief washed over her. It gave her a renewed sense of fight and she began to squirm, managing to get out from under the lion thanks to the mud and the distraction another male from the pride caused. She pulled herself to safety and, although she was covered in mud and exhausted, she was surprised to find herself injury free.
Her golden eyes turned to the two males that had come to help. Jasiri and Andhaka were holding their own for the most part.

There was suddenly another body, another lion. And then another. Their new Umholi, the Inslelo, and one of the Enda had appeared, attacking the large red lion. Isasa could only momentarily watch, before her anger turned to elation. Yes! They were turning the tides of this fight! She backed up, then went running after her pride sister that had went for help. No sense joining another fight when there were three perfectly good males.
As she ran, a shadow shot past her, huge and imposing. She slowed down and looked back, but the growing darkness swallowed it. Maybe she'd imagined things...
By all rights, he should have been miles away. His full mane had grown in not long after the Abaholi's fight scene had been discovered, and he'd struck out with his brother into the rogue lands to experience life beyond his home. But another rogue he'd passed, a tan lion with a black mane, had told him he should head back home, if only for a little while - His family was in trouble.
He was glad he'd listened, and now vowed that while he'd return to the life of a rogue for a time, he wasn't going to stray so far from the Ithambo lands again. The mud pounded under Gabede's dark paws as he charged at the paler of the two lions. Bunching powerful muscles, he jumped at the lion, letting out a loud, anger-feuled roar before his claws made contact.

The first attacker boxed Andhaka hard upside the head, unbalancing him just enough that he was able bring his greater size and roll the Umholi, reversing their positions so that the striped male was beneath him. The upper paw he gained, however, was short-lived, as Andhaka kicked up hard with his hind legs, claws digging deep and slicing into his underbelly. The beast of a lion roared in pain and reeled, staggering to the side, which allowed Andhaka time to regain his feet.
Though the little female slipped from his grasp, the pale rogue soon found himself facing two opponents far better-suited to the fight at hand. Their claws found purchase in his hide and he roared, throwing himself at Jasiri, claws finally bared and fangs flashing.
[OOC Information] If fighting the pale male, roll a 4-sided die. 1. The flurry of activity, number of combatants, and the weather combine for terrible fighting conditions, and you not only miss, but injure someone on your own side! (If two people roll 1, the first to roll it is the one who botches, the second is the one injured by the botcher. If only one person rolls one - or if a third person does - I will choose who is injured.) 2. You get in a good bite, even ripping away some flesh. He'll probably miss that... 3. You miss, but there is no collateral damage. 4. The male counters your attack, dealing moderate damage of your choice.
All non-combatant bystanders: The herd has been spooked by all the fighting, and some of them are headed this way in their panic. Yet another 4-sided die. 1 or 2. There's a wildebeest coming right at you, and you slip trying to get out of the way. This is going to hurt! Injury of your choice. 3. It's a close call, but you get out of the way just in time! 4. It just so happens that a calf or injured wildebeest is what's coming at you. Maybe you could grab some dinner! Surely everyone's going to be hungry after all this.

The deep brown lion snarled, claws digging into the mud slightly as he came to a stop after his leap. The pale attacker was wounded... But not done fighting. He began to move, ready to charge again. As he got close, a pale paw came at him, smacking him across the face. Pain erupted where the claws had dug in, leaving four deep scratches across the bridge of his nose and between his eyes. Thankfully, he wasn't blinded.

More lions arrived on the scene, some she had never seen before, but all were attacking the white lion. He was severely outnumbered which was good, adn Andhaka was still fighting the large red rogue. Han looked over to where the young male had fallen, and still he was on the ground. She was weary, her actions finally starting to catch up with her, but she knew he'd need to get to safety.
She began to move around the fighting lions to try to get to Ifunci, bu tit was then she noticed the herd. Her eyes widened and her ears pressed back against her head as a few of the large creatures bolted right in their direction. She tried to move out of the way of the fastest wildebeest, but her paws slid in the mud and she crumpled to the ground, her body too tired to carry her out of harms way. She turned her head and squeezed her eyes shut, anticipating a blow from those powerful hooves.
It came almost instantly. The wildebeest, obviously assuming the lioness would move, didn't bother jumping but simply ran right over her. One hoof landed on her back, leaving a deep gouge in her flesh, and the resulting force of the wildebeest pushing off made her roll from her stomach to her side. She let out a roar of pain, her claws digging into the ground to rise to her feet. She couldn't get hit again. She was lucky nothing seemed broken but her flesh.

Ifunci looked up at the sound of thundering hooves. The herd had begun to stampede! Prey was running left and right, brays of terrior sounding out every so often. If the Ahluke didn't manage to get back up, he would surely be trampled. He tried to put weight on his broken leg, but still he was unable to get to his feet. Suddenly, a terrified wildebeest came hurtling his way. Still stuck in the mud, Ifunci cowered, unsure of what to do. At the last second he rolled away, trying to avoid the wildebeest's hooves. But the ahluke wasn't quite fast enough. One of the hooves struck him on the head, leaving a gash above his eyebrow. Blood streaming into his eye, the male lay completely still, dazed from the blow and unable to think. He seemed to remember that he was in some sort of danger...but everything was kind of fuzzy and painful. And the lights were so bright...and everything was so loud...

((3. You miss, but there is no collateral damage.))
Jasiri was relieved to see that Han was able to get out from under the male. Another male joined the fight on his side, but as long as the dark lion was clawing at the same enemy as him he couldn't really complain. Their enemy turned toward him with fangs and claws bared. Jasiri roared in return and tried to dodge the worst of it while getting another hit in. The mud helped with the dodging, but he slid too far and his own attack missed.
He heard confusing movement around him and even roars of pain, but he couldn't afford to worry about his surroundings right now. The white male was the dangerous enemy, and the one he needed to keep his eyes on.

Andhaka took a heavy step toward the red male, bloody fangs bared and reasy to strike, but his target stumbled and fell before he could so much as touch him again. The Umholi had gutted him, and he would be dead before long. Tail lashing, he turned towards the remaining fight. And froze when he heard a cry. "Kula!" A third male had emerged, stepping from behind the outcropping where he had evidently been hiding the entire time. Somewhere between the other two in size, and the youngest of the three, he was clearly having second thoughts about their course of action...and probably had been for awhile, considering he had stayed back while his companions fought. Up until now, standing open-mouthed and terrified in the pouring rain, frozen in place at the sight of the violence. The pale one heard him as he fended off Jasiri and Gabedi, and snarled out a demand for help, "Bozi! Bozi, you little coward, get over here and help!" 'Bozi' looked from his fighting friend to his dying one, before wide eyes landed on the striped male stalking towards him. The sight must have made up his mind for him, because he turned tail and ran. But not quite fast enough: Andhaka lunged forward in time to latch onto his tail, elliciting a pained, fearful shriek, followed by bones crunching and flesh ripping as the tan lion continued to run anyway. Half of his tail was nothing compared to his life. It ripped away in Andhaka's mouth even as a panicked wildebeest slammed into the Umholi, bringing him to the ground and giving Bozi a chance to flee. The remaining rogue swore vehemently. His chances had taken an abrupt dive from bad to no chance in hell. He moved to follow Bozi's example and run, but it would not be so easy for him. [OOC Information]Non-combatants get a breather, unless you want to try to chase Bozi down, in which case: 1. Not only do you not catch up to him, you uh...wow, where are you?! You've gotten lost in the storm! 2-3. You lose him in the storm, but fortunately don't get lost yourself. Making it back to the others should be easy. 4. Aha! There he is! Or at least, you think you see something remotely the same color. Optional: Charge~! Combatants:You know the drill, 4 sides! 1 or 2. He knocks you back and makes a break for it. 3. You don't stop him outright, but you do damage that will slow him down for sure. 4. You successfully block his escape, for now.

Roll only applies for Gabede
The dark brown lion snarled again, shaking the pain from his face. That stung, and he'd pay for it! Though on the same note, the former pride member would count this as his first scars as a rogue, earned while helping his birth pride. He moved his large body to block the way, hackles up and letting out a mighty roar. The male got past him, though, but not before the chocolate-brown lion dug his claws in. It wasn't stopping him... But he certainly counted it as sweet, sweet, and very bloody revenge for leaving a mark across his face!
The pained yell had brought the lioness back. While she didn't give chase and opted only to watch, she found herself admiring the males who'd stepped up. She didn't right away recognize Gabede, so didn't know he was more than just some random passing rogue come to help, but she gave him props for having the guts to step into a pride's own personal matters. She went over to Andhaka, looking the Umholi over. "You've definitely earned yourself that title!"

Han finally found her feet again and, although she was in pain and her breathing was labored, she pressed on in Ifunci's direction. He had taken a hit from the wildebeest as well, although his wasn't as easy to shrug off as hers. It hurt, yes, but thankfully her back had withstood the powerful legs. A head injury was nothing to joke about.
Crouching down to try to shield the young male from the fighting and fleeing beasts, she began to try to clean up the blood with her tongue, hoping it would also rouse Ifunci a bit.
"Stay awake," she said weakly as she paused in her cleaning once most of the blood was out of his eyes. "The worst thing you can do is succumb to that darkness. Focus on me, keep those eyes open."
She lifted her head for a moment, wondering if anyone here knew anything about healing. He was obviously injured and bleeding from other places, but to her his head was most important.

The Ahluke, head pounding and vision slighty blurry, was able to come to his senses. Han was leaning over him, and it took a minute for him to recognize the lioness. He looked around, hoping that the rogues had gone for good. One lay in the midst of death throws not too far from where Ifunci lay. The young male had seen prey dying plenty of times. But to see a lion in such condition? It made Ifunci want to puke. Or perhaps that was because of his head injury. The male couldn't really tell. Once more, Ifunci made the effort to get to his feet. There weren't any attackers or wildebeests flying towards his face this time, and with great effort, the Ahluke managed to stand up on his three legs. The injured one stayed raised above the ground. Ifunci was unable to put any weight on it at all. He leaned against Han, barely having the strength to stand up at all. Blood streamed down his dark brown fur, mixing in with mud and rain. The slashes and bite marks from the rogue lion were all over, but the bite on his neck bled the worst. The cut above his eyebrow was not deep, but it bled profusely, as was the nature of head wounds. The young male was trembling like a leaf, blue eyes wide and still tinged with dark fear. He looked around the area, wobbling slighty both from only being able to use three legs and from the blood loss. "Is...i-is it over? A-are we s-afe?" He asked meekly, trying to resist the urge to curl in on himself and disappear. Han's presence next to him was about the only thing keeping him from breaking down completely.

(Using my old roll if thats ok) Ever since the disaster of the failed hunt for Gakere and Surtak, and the equally disastrous meeting with her pride-sisters after, Dania had been lost. Her world, once so certain and safe had been turned entirely up on its head. First the Umholi both go missing, then her twin sister vanishes into thin air, leaving Dania adrift in a world that was neither familiar nor comforting. Her only source of solace had been the Umama, Simosihle. The grey female had always been something of an authority figure in Dania's life, though the pair had never actually spoken to each other outside of passing pleasantries or cooperating during hunts. But lately Dania had swallowed what courage she had possessed and sought out the older female, drawn to her natural confidence.
Then she had lost even that last bit of comfort as Simo had fled the meeting after Dania had lost control, if only briefly. She had no idea what had happened… what had made her do something so completely out of character. But her concern was a dulled sensation, just as the rest of her flat and featureless world had slowly become devoid of any colour since the loss of her twin.
Head low, the small, slender female padded along without any of the grace usually inherent in a lioness. Too thin by half, having lost all appreciation for her food, her hips and shoulders were becoming uncommonly sharp and her ribs pressed against sides made lean by the voluntary abstinence. Dania barely felt much of anything, bemused by a world made alien she had thoroughly withdrawn into herself. Had her twin walked up just then she probably wouldn’t have even recognised her sibling.
Suddenly a cachophany of roars and female screams reached her, jerking Dania out of her haze. Head lifting she scanned the horizon but saw what she was seeking far closer. a band of her pridemates, both male and female, as well as Jasiri and Andhaka were battling furiously. One huge male, bright red, was evidently dispatched, but two others remained.
Slowly, that very same queerness that had over come her during the meeting where Andhaka had been untraditionally voted in as an Umholi swept her up again. A sense of removal, of distance between herself and the world prevailed, as if she were looking through a veil. Nothing out there really mattered, could not get through the veil to hurt her.
With nothing to loose that she had not already lost, the slight half starved female threw herself at the pale invader with a blood chilling roar no one who had ever known her would believe she could utter. Let alone the sheer ferocity of her charge as if she were not typically a meek mannered and mild lioness. With no care to her own safety and only wishing to aid her pridemates she flung herself bodily at the rogue. Roaring and yowling like a possessed thing.

((First roll: Jasiri, Second roll: Xatu))
From the sounds of it Andhaka was holding up his part of the fighting, and from the look on the stranger's face their side was losing. Excellent! He grinned a toothy grin, not prepared to let the white one run. They got themselves into this mess, and they would pay with their hides for trying to attack the Bonelands. He moved to block the male's way, but underestimated just how badly the other wanted to get away. Jasiri was knocked back, landing on something soft.
Xatu's jaw was sore, but at least he didn't see stars anymore. First the rock under the mud, and then he'd been bowled over by a frightened wildebeest. Luckily he wasn't trampled, just a bit banged up and bruised. He was still intent on helping chase away the invading males. The red and black male had brought down one opponent and chased away another, he must be the Inselele that had replaced Nguvu if he wasn't remembering wrong.
Xatu saw that the white male tried to get away, and hurried to block his escape. Unfortunately the male pushed Jasiri his way, and he couldn't do much this time either.
"Xefo!" he called.
The vulture raised an eyebrow. What was Xatu yelling about now? He couldn't very well stop the white male, or do much of anything useful. He could help clean up the red one that had fallen, but he wasn't about to do anything while it still rained. The vulture preened his tail feathers, turning away from the fight. They would do just fine without his help.

Andhaka lurched reflexively when Isasa came near, biting back a growl when he realized it was an ally. He grunted instead, spat the unfortunate rogue's tail out of his mouth, and wheezed, "Glad you approve. Check on Ifunci and Nehanda, would you?"
Without waiting for a response, he heaved himself to his feet to move toward the remaining fight, staggering a few steps. The hit from the wildebeest had not done him any favors.
But the remaining male had enough to worry about anyway. While he managed to get past Jasiri and Xatu, Gabede's claws dug deep into his leg and Dania blocked his path. He snarled at the lioness, ears flat and posture low as his gaze darted from her to the assortment of males. There was nowhere for him to go.
...except into the herd. It was more than likely that he would be trampled, but it was slightly less certain a death than staying and being eviscerated. He broke to the side, leaping into the chaos.
[OOC Information] Combat is over! You're welcome to try to chase after him if your lion would ICly attempt it - or you want them to get stomped on! xP - but he's not catchable (mostly because he was a christmas present, haha).
