RC looks both ways. "I think I will head down the red path as well. Too many dragons grouped together draw a lot of unwanted attention, and that is the last thing we need here." the shiny hybrid comments before following Odd.

The team where decided as the paths shimmered below their feet, just as bright as the crystals in the water. Once the teams were decided the green water would flow from the statues eye's splashing more over the dual crystals at wait.
Beyond the paths the fog would stir from the shadows of creatures running past the entrance of either path.
Down the Purple path, the road would be brick, and proper, and buildings started to be less destroyed the further they went in. Far down the street, among the empty homes and shops, one buildings light was on. But the stretch of houses was vast, and it had to be at least a miles walk. Yet that one light sting shinned in the fog. To the snagems right and four houses down the door would slam shut with the sound of snapping wood.
Down the red path the road was a stone pathway the kind you would see in a garden, but where they where was no normal garden. Tall buildings crumbling, flesh climbing high like vines, and soppy sound of walking creatures just off to their right could be heard. Wait now its not just walking, running, the snagems are being hunted.

Odd had taken off down the crimson pathway with RC at his heels and Cadenza by his side. "Something following us." He said after a while. Long before he'd begun to heard the sounds of another's footfalls he had begun to sense something just beyond his field of vision, shifting the eerie fog around him in strange patterns that seemed to speak to him. A dog: the hunter. A deer: the prey. The shapes shifted here and there, popping up in front of him more and more frequently as the sounds he heard began to grow increasingly rapid-more frantic- as if the creature hunting them was preparing to pounce.
Cadenza, I want you to use your Silver Wind as gently as you can. Don't alert whatever's out there to your doing so but push the fog away again. I want a clear look at our predator. The spiritual communication would go unnoticed by any incapable of breaching the connection between the channeler and his Pokemon. Following the instructions given Cadenza summoned a silvery breeze that glittered softly in contrast to the bland pink fog surrounding them, pushing it slowly back and away from the group of Snagems.
It was at this point that Odd began to see the buildings lost in the strange mist that seemed to permeate Kain's mind. "I can't imagine what state this guy's mind must be in to have a landscape like what we've seen represent his consciousness." He said quietly. He was not one to understand the mind but the soul was something else entirely.

Reno looked at the houses as the doors slammed shut, ponderous of what had caused this new reverberation. It was uniquely calming. Why was he so wordy all of a sudden? Well, he at least felt a little more at home now. Nothing quite felt like an empty street with doors slammed shut on him. Looking between his draconic ally and the lit house light, Reno offered up, "Seems we have a light in darkness. Let us follow it." Not bothering to wait for Darts to start moving with him, the red haired man would begin to quietly walk towards his destination with his right hand resting on one of his Pokeballs. It was time to confront this darkened portion and vivisect it from Kain.

"I know. I can feel it, too." Odd replied to RC. "I was trying to get a look at it but no dice." With that, he gave a wave to Cadenza to come closer, the Shedinja wandering over and floating beside him for the moment. "Maybe we'll be able to get wherever this leads soon and get Kain out of this....place his mind is lost." He thought aloud.

But I've heard some species of Pokemon use light in the darkness to lure in prey at the bottom of the ocean. Let's hope this isn't similar."

He was not one to understand the mind but the soul was something else entirely. The shadows would dance in a battle; a dog hunting a deer. The shadows clashed and separated again. The dog leaned into a pounce as it leaps, forcing his jaw at the deer's throat. His kill drops to the floor, blood trailing from the dog’s mouth. It turns its head. The canine was looking right at the group, it walked closer and closer until the gust blew. Through the fog away and dissipating the dog. It was calm, despite the horrific landscape surrounding them. RCCaughtem RC snorts. "I know something is following us, but what? Until it decides to come closer, we can't act just yet." he says to his group, Requiem of Whyspers "I know. The fog, still splitting, left….the dog? In the distance two bright red eyes can be seen. It was much farther than the shadow shown before, but that didn't stop it from walking closer. With a great howl, it stood up on its hind legs, letting its great pony tail drop to the ground. It was a huge Zoroark, with an awkward reversed color scheme and bright red eyes. Blood crazed, it sprinted towards the two, taking a huge punch, and slamming down over top of RC. Behind the storming beast, the two may notice a similar bright red light moving around in the distance. As fast as it came, it left with the same suddenness. Tesei Utakata Reno looked at the houses as the doors slammed shut, ponderous of what had caused this new reverberation. It was uniquely calming. Why was he so wordy all of a sudden? But I've heard some species of Pokemon use light in the darkness to lure in prey at the bottom of the ocean. Let's hope this isn't similar." The two would walk along the stone road, only the sound of their feet filling the air. The seamlessly cold wind gusted past the two. Despite the chill in the air, it lit every lantern along their path. The singular light would fade with the mixing glow of fire from the additional sources. Far off in the distance, the loud clang of a bell sounded off three times. The sound couldn't be put to a place just yet. but it was definitely ahead of the two. With one loud squeak, the door that once slammed, reopened. A man the size of a bear would come thumping out, holding a huge cleaver in his hand. His face was blacked out as if a non-existent hood was shading his eyes. His outfit was that of a butcher, splattered with the blood of what could only be assumed was dinner. Soon after every door would open, each revealing a similar villager wearing good and proper clothes, each armed with farming tools and kitchen wear. They all came out of their homes as if they were compelled, all closing on the two. The bearish man was first as he came down with his blade over Reno. The neighboring farmer, holding his scythe, swung at Darts's ankles.

RC would not dodge the punch that the Zoroark threw, instead he grabbed hold of the shadow beast and delivered a point-blank Thunder Wave. RC then releases his grasp and steps back to see what the beast would do next.

Reno stared up at the man for a moment, blinking once before greeting him with, "Candygram for butcher!" It didn't take a genius to determine what the sudden raising and lowering of the cleaver was for, so Reno made for a quick sidestep to let the heavy blade continue its journey to the ground unimpeded. Deciding that now was a good opportunity, Reno lashed out with a quick kick from his right leg and a glance over his shoulder to observe what was happening with Darts.

RC then releases his grasp and steps back to see what the beast would do next. The Zoroark Curled back in pain from the wave of electricity now stimulating its nerves, before settling back down. It's rapid movement became more sluggish as it swung its large forearms, claw's beard, at Odd. The hulk-ish man weight would take him down with his blade, leaving his clear for the strike across his missing face. Lucky enough for Reno, the man was thrown onto his side, now being trampled by the other zombie acting citizens. One ballsy lady would take a pitchfork towards Reno chest, lunging with her weight.

RC grunted in approval of applying the paralysis. Now that the speedster was moving much slower, landing attacks should prove much easier. And speaking of, the elder dragon would dash forward at the exposed back of the Zoroark. With a mighty vertical slash of his right claw, RC would land a Dragon Claw attack down the length of the Dark Pokemon's back. This would be excruciating painful for the Zoroark.

When he was attacked by Zoroark, Odd threw his hand out, conjuring a black wall of energy between them to block the strange red fox's attack. As soon as it was over, he'd attempt to conjure an illusion, resulting instead in a wisp-like spirit making an appearance. It randomly hovered in place for a moment before launching towards the Zoroark, gluing to it's face like a mask of living fog.
"Um...ok. That was interesting...." He noted, assuming it must be the fact that he was in Kain's mind messing with his powers.
