She nodded, chuckling. "Perhaps I will see that Conquest stallion I owe a dance."

She clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth. "You sure are keeping the company of many stallions lately."

Na'ima shrugged. "It was just one time. Did I not tell you about it? He and Mmur escorted me to one of Amityville's silly little parties." Her eyes narrowed slightly. "And not so..many. There is Salbei, there has always been Salbei...and now there is Rathsvith. Is two that many?" She couldn't very well get herself to cut out either of them if it was too many.

That's right. Na'ima had told her about that when they had visited the hot springs in Halloween town. Tilting her head slightly, the beads in Falair's hair clicked. "I just never hear you speak of other mares is all."

What? That was just silly! Na'ima scoffed at the thought. "Nonsense. Clearly I just haven't had anything interesting happen with any of them. There are lots of mares." She fell quiet again, thinking. There had to be a mare somewhere in her inventory of stories.

She pouted, glad for the veil covering her face. "Well, I speak of you." To others.

She squinted at her sister for a second. "I do not count." Obviously Na'ima needed some female friends other than herself. Her being her sister's friend was a given.

It was something Falair would need to rectify and quick. The thought of people whispering about her sister for hanging around stallions all the time did not sit well with her. Unsavory things. Oh how could they! Falair gasped and clutched her sister's arm. It was an unintentional reaction to her own thoughts and she hadn't expected for it to become external.

"You completely count. You are my favorite." Obviously. Na'ima didn't miss the sudden gasp from her sister, however. Her eyes narrowed once again, this time with curiosity. "Is it so shocking that you are my favorite?"

She played with Na'ima's sleeve. "No." The mare would have to keep better control of her reactions. Lest her sister discover the horrible thoughts in her brain. Banish them now. Deal with them later.

"If you do not wish to branch out to making acquaintances of other mares then I guess there is just no helping it." Oh...well no. Falair would help it. Whether Na'ima wanted it or not.

Hm..interesting. Na'ima pursed her lips. "You seem very fixed on me having more female companions, sister. Does my association with stallions bother you?" She arched a brow as she looked to the mare beside her. "I thought you wished for me to find a 'special someone'."

"No, it does not. I just want you to have more friends and be happy." Plus if she were to leave on the many expeditions she had planned once she became a Sage she didn't want Na'ima to feel lonely without her. If there were others there to fill the void...

Falair sighed lightly. "I do but friends are different than a 'special someone'." She pursed her lips behind her mask.

With Falair's words Na'ima fell silent again, her gaze fixed ahead of them as they made their way out of the living quarters. But she was happy, and she had friends, didn't she? Salbei was her friend, Wrath had become her friend, Mmur was a friend, Falair was her friend..

Besides, she worked all the time. She didn't need constant company bothering her and wrecking her concentration.

Na'ima smiled, giving her sister's hand a squeeze. "Falair, I am happy. I am finding my purpose again, I am surrounded by those important to me. I am happy." She tilted her head. "Are you?"

"Na'ima, I need you--Ah" Salbei paused in his intrusion, looking between the pair of sisters. "My apologies, ladies. Na'ima, if you have time later on this evening, please come and see me." He could wait. Siblings were important, after all. He turned towards Falair next, and offered her a small nod of greeting. "Good Morning. Pardon my intrusion." He then made a graceful exit, apparently going to bother someone else.

It was a silly question for her sister to ask. "Of course." To a point she supposed. "I suppose just a bit bored. Its hard to pursue things when you are limited in certain capacities."

A slender eyebrow quirked as Salbei made a random appearance. Nodding her head in greeting before he took his leave. "I wonder what the old man wanted..."

"Good." Though she could understand boredom. She could relate to a point. Na'ima sighed, smiling as she reached a hand out to gently stroke Falair's cheek with the back of her hand. "If you ever need my help do not hesitate to ask. Everything comes second to you, Falair. I mean that."

The moment was ruined by a sudden intrusion. Na'ima blinked and stared at Salbei. What..? "Ah...all right.." He left, she turned to Falair and shrugged. "No idea. Come, let us hurry before we miss everything, hm?"

She knew her sister meant that. Falair did not see the necessity of her sister's reaffirmations of the fact. But then again a small part of her, deep down inside, needed it.

Tugging on Na'ima's arm, she quickened her pace. It wouldn't take long to get to the Conquest floor but she was right. "Yes lets go!" Of course, Falair did not mention that the festival was to be conducted over multiple days. But Na'ima was in a slightly more receptive mood to the idea so she did not want to waste the time and have her sister slide back into a state of 'no I don't want toos'.
