"He almost got eaten by a set of Pokemon, so...I can't blame him..." She answers, the pokemon settling back into the hybrid's arms as she followed the nurse back, relatively interested in everything around her.
"I'll be right here." She promises, placing the lizard pokemon right where she's told. Trusting because she's back there, the Helioptile makes small chirrups of its cry and nestles into the warm space. "Thank you so much...its my first time in this city...I'm glad I stopped here."

"Don't mention it." The nurse said with a smile as she turned on the machine, a pleasant cool energy washing over the Helioptile and Rhyme's Pokeballs. It only took seconds but her entire team was fighting fit again and so she removed the tray and handed it to Rhyme. "All done, mon cher." She said to the Helioptile. "Where you headed, if I may ask?" She said to Rhyme.

"No, thank you so much..." She answers, watching all her pokemon become fighting fit once more. Taking the tray, she restashes all the Pokeballs and the Helioptile scrambles onto her shoulder, chirping merrily in thanks at the Nurse. "I'm heading towards Couriway town...or was it Anistar? I don't remember...its why I asked about the map." On instinct, the girl bows, and heads to the front to be let out and grab a few maps and things on the way to find Hans and Gretel.

Hans and Gretel would be waiting for Rhyme in front of the Pokemon Center. Rhyme would notice that Hans' Swampert was nowhere to be seen and everything it was carrying had been loaded up into the back of a blue pick up truck.
"Check it out! We got ourselves a ride! Rented it rather." Hans said proudly as he patted the side of the truck.
"We'll have to find our way to Terminus Cave. You get a map?" Gretel asked.

"Wow!" She chirps, trotting over and presenting her with the variety of maps and guides. "Got what they had...and I guess he's coming with us all the way." She isn't sure what way is quickest; really only going out with the others in the group, the chance to travel like this was...well...good for her."
the lizard pokemon chirps at Hans, climbing back onto Rhyme's head. "If I remember the tales...its somewhere near this route...but what's the quickest way to get there at this time?"

"I'm not sure, but we'll figure it out along the way." Hans said with a smile. The group would then load up into the truck and take off through the streets of Lumiose, soon exiting as they made their way towards Terminus Cave.
-----
Some time later the group would find themselves driving down a long stretch of road through Route 16. It was cool out and the wind blew gently. Nothing but tall grass could be seen along the roads and the only think to really look at were the remains of the Lost Hotel, rotting away in the distance. "Where are we, Rhyme?" Gretel asked as she poked her head through the open window, she decided to sit in the bed of the truck to allow Rhyme to sit in the front.

Rhyme settles in with the maps and things, having not been in such a machine...she's calmed by the humming that sounds content as they head off on the trail.
~~~~~
The still-unnamed Helioptile is fast asleep in her lap as they drive down the stretch of road. Rhyme has her map narrowed down, locating them relatively quickly as the drove along past the Hotel. The last time she was around here....she shivered; no Rotom in fridges, please! "We're close, I think...it looks like its near a raised set of rocks. Terminus cave has an entry through the abandoned mines...And the place has been relatively stable according to some of the local notes..."
The sun was beginning to go down as the truck made its way up an incline, heading up a small ridge. "Do we have to pass through Dendemille Town? Thought I saw a sign for that." Hans said as he looked back to face Rhyme briefly.
"Watch out!" Gretel shouted, causing Hans to whip his head around and face forward, slamming on the brakes as he saw what she was talking about.
"Beeel!" Hissed a Victrebel as it turned around, angry at the truck as it was distracted just long enough for its prey, a Skorupi, to flee. "Victre!" It hissed again as it began to launched a Vine Whip at the truck, starting to slam on its windshield.
"That thing is gonna break the glass! I'll have to buy this thing if it does!" Hans shouted.
"We might....would be good for supplies..." She ends up dropping the map at her feet, grabbing the lizard off her lap and holding it tight as the breaks slam and she's held harnessed in her seatbelt.
....not a good thing as they're now the target of a relatively angry Pokemon. Running through her mental pokemon check sheet, Rhyme begins to unbuckle herself. "Hans, Gretel, head to Dendemille Town. I will meet you guys there...please just give me time to make it." She says, willing to take this thing out and give them time to run.
The lizard scrambles up her arm once she gets free, and she manages to unlock and pull herself out of the car, cheeks sparking. This feels much like when she fought in the caves; a battle of territory, of who was more dominant.
"Hey!" She calls out, sending a jolt of electricity to the most recent vine, hoping the volts carry to the pokemon.
"Beel!" Screeched the Victreebel as it was shocked, Hans and Gretel speeding off in the truck once it was distracted. As they went off into the distance Gretel shouted 'good luck' and 'be careful' to Rhyme.
The shock didn't hurt the Victreebel too bad, thanks to its resistance. The electric attack angered it more than it hurt. "Victree!" It shrieked again before sending another vine thrashing at Rhyme, trying to grab its self a quick fluffy snack.
Rhyme lets them speed off, nodding simply before her gaze darts back to the angered pokemon. Its a smidge difficult but as she's prepped herself with comfortable clothing she can shift down, pushing off and away as a quadruped.
She remembers vines as wires, and growls at the pokemon, sparking up again. A ball is pulled, then put back, Rhyme chomping down on the vine as it manages to snag her upper arm. Its not a usual Bite attack, but in her own defense...she's still balancing things out.
The thought of bringing out one of her other pokemon to aid her is tempting...though their current friend is currently not a happy one. The small Helioptile screeches and sends up a Mud Slap to help her out!
"Victeebeeeel!" Screeched the Flycatcher Pokemon as it took a face full of Mud Slap, temporarily distorting its vision. The momentarily blindness would work in Rhyme's favor as it didn't see her bite coming, the Pokemon thrashing its vine around erratically as it tried to get her off, even slamming her onto the ground a few times
Ow. Ow. Ow. Rhyme's back hits the dirt and dispels her electricity each time but those tiny teeth hold firm. She grabs onto the creature, knowing she'd be unable to throw it, and the pokemon uses its quick speed to land a Quick Attack while it's distracted. Rhyme lets go, finally, and rams her head into the body of the flycatcher pokemon. "Stop it! I am not a thing to be...eaten!"
Smacked around a bit the Victreebel would right its self up again after having fallen over. Now having reached its anger point the flycatcher Pokemon prepared to unleash its ace in a hole. It was going to get its self a bite to eat even if it killed it!
"Vic...tree...beeeeel!" The plant shrieked as it flung its arm leaves around wildly, conjuring a fierce swarm of razor sharp leaves, putting all it had into its Leaf Storm attack, threatening to consume Rhyme and Helioptile in it.
...that was a Leaf Storm. That was so definitely a Leaf Storm and Rhyme wasn't going to take chances. She feels the static in her body grow as the lizard pokemon scampers to her side, and against that Leaf storm she unleashes another large Spark attack, though this time it feels...different. Perhaps the Helioptile helped her...?
