[PRP] Phone A friend (Chel/Shun) [FIN]

[chiickadee]

"Yeah. How's the tea comin'?"  

[Blade Kuroda]

Grumbling under his breath, Shun poured out two cups of tea, then brought over one of them to Chel.

"Here."  

[chiickadee]

Chel took the cup from his hands and blew on it a few times. She knew better than to sip immediately.

"Maybe s'him," she said quietly, "But I really don't think so." Maybe Shun could take that on faith. "Sit with me?"  

[Blade Kuroda]

Somewhat begrudgingly, he sat down besides her.

"You say you hear things at times. What sort of things exactly?"  

[chiickadee]

Chel's feet curled up to the couch so she could rest the cup on her thighs when she wasn't sipping from it.

"Y'know like. Bushes rustlin' on the way home from work or like ... someone's keys on metal railings. Sometimes sounds like people come into th' store but there ain't nobody there."  

[Blade Kuroda]

"Hm."

Shun fell silent for a time, furrowing his brow as he continued to mull this situation over. After a little while, he begrudgingly stated, "As much as I do not like your power, have you attempted to use it to pinpoint what the hell it is?"  

[chiickadee]

"Yeah, but it ain't pick anythin' up." She ran hand through her hair before taking another sip.

"I have t'see 'em t'know. F'they're good at hidin' then I can't tell s**t."  

[Blade Kuroda]

So much for that idea.

"All I can really suggest for now is try to get some actual sleep. Different people handle sleep deprevation differently. It can cause hallucination and paranoia."  

[chiickadee]

Chel leaned over enough until her head leaned against the side of his arm. "Easier said than done, my guy."

But she did have to insist, "M'not crazy. Don't think m'weird or nothin'."

Shun glanced over at her, just staring for a moment or so, "Chel. You were already weird before this. Too late for that."  

[chiickadee]

Chel snorted at that at least. "Yeah well, nothin' gets past you."

She could have closed her eyes at least had she not been worried about spilling the tea. "D'you I should go look for the magic perv? Try an' lure 'em out or somethin'?"  

[Blade Kuroda]

"Assuming that you do have a stalker with magical capabilities, it would be incredibly dangerous to try and purposely bait them without knowing what they are and what they are capable of. In theory you would be safer in Ashdown than Other Ashdown, but there is still no telling what they are able to do exactly." he stated.  

[chiickadee]

"When the hero ever done the safe thing?" she said with a wry smile.

"Two on one might not be so bad."  

[Blade Kuroda]

"Heroes often get themselves killed. Do not be a hero," he stated dryly.

"Two on one means nothing if it is vastly more powerful than us."  

[chiickadee]

"Ooh yer right, I fergot we're all s'posed t'be broodin' anti-heroes like you." She reached up to poke his cheek gently with a finger. "I don't think no superpowered magic thing got any reason t'stalk me."
