"Yes," says Sunny. "It's time to go." She doesn't notice or care that Ashton doesn't seem to trust her. "There won't be any need to climb when we go."

There's a horrific feeling of pressure that rolls past, like a wave coming in to shore.

Sunny leads the way a few hundred yards up the rocky beach. Vivien blinks a bloody tear. "It grew," she says, and she swings Chester's hand between them.

The cliff face has been subsumed by a yawning void. The air around them is bitterly cold.

Vivien leads the way, hauling Chester and Sunny into the hole.

Shun clenched his teeth as he felt that pressure building up. And he soon realized why. Staring ahead at the gaping void, he watched as Vivien brought Chester and Sunny into it.

"Here we go again..." he muttered under his breath. He shot a glance to America and Chel briefly, then went in.

The girl took Preacher's hand once more, leading her through, just behind Leila and Eve.
