Once again, Cutie is knocked back, landing flatly against the hard stone ground. Keiko runs to her wordlessly, too busy panicking to make any sounds. Fortunately, however, Cutie hasn't passed out yet.
Once certain that Cutie's okay, Keiko looks up to the Minotaur, who is looking worse for wear than Cutie is. Hopeful that the battle is drawing to a close, Keiko hastily pulls out her SNAG and scans Cutie using its Pokedex feature, hoping to find a technique that can end the beast.
"Fight's almost over, Cutie," Keiko said, her voice frazzled from all the stress of her worrying. "Can you try using Bug Buzz? You only need to hit the Minotaur one last time and then you can rest, I promise."
After a failed attempt to fly, Cutie eventually hovers in front of Keiko, aiming its wings at the Minotaur before flapping them with all her might, creating Bug-infused soundwaves that flow on a collision course with the enemy.

Reno and nalu would be blasted backwards into the cavern wall, indenting the stone slightly before they fell off onto the ground below. Looking between themselves, the pair would flash matching grins before standing up to once again face the Minotaur. And falling back onto the ground as both of them faltered simultaneously. Sighing before slowly moving their way to point towards their opponent, Reno would reach his one working hand over before slowly rubbing Nalu to build up a static charge. Eventually, they would get enough together and Nalu unleashed a Thunder Shock that aimed to take care of the great hybrid before them.

With a lack of anywhere to hide or position to possibly avoid the attack, Gale and Amaranth braced theirselves from the unusual attack. They were slammed by a surprisingly hard blast of Water energy, both thrown around by it. Rolling on the floor from impact and panting, she'd watch as her Pidgeotto landed in front of her, battered and bruised from the fighting. She didn't look like she'd be taking much more at all, but neither did the Minotaur if she had to take a guess. "Gale," she spoke up, struggling to hang in there herself. "If you can still fight, give it.... everything you've got. Let's go out swinging!"
Managing to at least sit, she'd grab Gale and threw her at the Minotaur to try one last attack. Stabilizing in mid flight, the Wing Attack to come would be more flopping onto the Minotaur than any sort of valiant last stand.

As Odd tried to help Fermata to his feet, he didn't see the Minotaur recovering so quickly. The resulting final attempt at retaliation ended up with an indirect blast of water washing them away. Well, more like soaking them thoroughly. Vigorously. "Ugh.....I didn't know Terrakion could learn Water-type moves?" Odd stated, though it was more a question than anything else. "Fermata. Try a Shadow Claw. See if you can get in close and finish it off. It looks like it's about done."
The Decidueye nodded but, rather than simply running toward the minotaur, he drew am arrow, took aim and fired. At a wall.
"What?! Did that fall Confuse you?!" Odd asked, trying to find any kind of sign that Fermata's brain was scrambled.
"Deci du decidu dueye."
"Just watch what happens?" Odd questioned, curious but still not expecting much. He'd be more surprised than he expected to have been when the arrow ricocheted off the wall, soaring through the air before curving back around to sail toward the minotaur with several blades of black energy erupting from the arrowhead, becoming a literal claw flying through the air, aiming to slash at the burly hybrid's flesh.

The final barrage of attacks was simply too much for the Minotaur. The great hybrid was overwhelmed by their assault, the monster not having the energy nor the strength to put up much of a resistance nor counter against their attacks. After the final attack hit, a ghost claw of an arrow racking across its chest, the beast would fall backwards onto its back with a mighty thud which sent a quack through out the entire hallway. That is where the Minotaur would remain for the time being, the great beast remaining motionless. The Minotaur was defeated.

Amaranth would stand there, panting as Gale hit the floor and barely stood up. Staring up at the Minotaur as it let out one last roar and finally fell down, she didn't dare move at first for fear that it'd get up for a second round. When it didn't, she made a few cautious steps as if making sure it was safe to do so. That's when a strange box appeared in a flash of light, materializing before her and everyone else's eyes. She'd watch Reno go to it without a second thought, before peering inside and seeing what she could find... the pull of her hand would end up grabbing one of the strange, stylized Snag Emblems that tended to be circulated in the team like Snag Coins were. Recalling their value, she quickly pocketed it before recalling Gale and slowly making her way out. She really hoped the way out wouldn't be as arduous as the path to get here was.

Odd was both unsuprised and yet somehow shocked when the Minotaur let out one last guttural roar before collapsing, clearly out cold. "That was...intense...." The channeler stated as he and Fermata began to walk toward the unconscious beast. As they drew nearer, however, a mysterious box appeared out of thin air, a flash of brilliant light drawing his attention to it. As he walked toward it, drawn toward the strange box by some unseen force, he saw Reno reach into it and Amaranth got there before him and began to do the same. Might as well see what was in there, right? Reaching into the box, himself, he wondered what he might find.

Holding Houndour in his arms, the mountain of a beast falls to the ground in defeat. As the creature fades away; it leaves a box, one for each combatant. Reaching out Arkelos picks up one box and opens it.

Keiko sat there on her knees, frozen by shock. The terrible beast was finally done. it was over. Keiko held Cutie close to her chest, grateful that the Bug-type hadn't fainted a second time. "Thank you, Cutie," she whispered, too shaken to use her vocal cords. "Go ahead and take a good rest, okay?"
Keiko pulled Cutie's ball off her belt, but before she recalled the Cutiefly, she saw something in between her tiny legs. "What's this?"] she asked, setting Cutie's ball down long enough to take the box and open it...
