Fox had never considered herself maternal, outside of being a kitty-mama, so the feeling that was thrust into her was....foreign. It was different than what she felt as an older sister, holding the tiny hands of Raven or Devansh.

And yet, the more she looked at the little Sonny with her green eyes, the more Fox couldn't help but feel that they were the wrong color because the art Pach did of her had purple, hmmmm.

Who are you?

Did this cage know that it made Sonny worry and fear? Did the threat it believed Liam Noor posed to her make that a preferable option?

I don't understand. Please. Help me understand.

Fox knew a few things from talking with Jeremiah.

Sonny was not Sunny, Sunny was dead in this world already, which meant that......if Fox was understanding correctly, her question she'd still had about it stood:

It felt like there had been an implication that Sonny was by origin different than Sunny, and as images shift and changed in her mind, this suspicion she had grew stronger.

Everything always came back to Ascension Shore, it seemed. It was important, therefore, to know why.

And where are her actual parents?

Was this related to the same question she wondered to herself when Jeremiah said they were from a different world? Had Renard and Liam replaced a native Renard and Liam and the originals were now displaced somewhere strange?

She'd played this video game. If Sonny was a dream, this thing was the fayth and she really didn't want to try and logic it out any further than that. But it kept calling them 'false'.

Jeremiah had pointed out that he himself was a sort of inter-reality changeling of sorts. Was that....

There's a few of them from another side..another...cycle...universe...reality. I'm not sure what it is exactly.

Then tell me the truth. One told me that they are here because they remade a seal on their world's Ascension. A 'Sunny' to your 'Sonny'. Do you know where the originals went?

So it wasn't as though a swap had occurred. They had just blipped right out of existence. That was.....logical, she guessed, but sad in a way.
