Mission: Battle of the Drawbridge

Ulla and her team were running around the battlefield to see if they can find Lt. Surge's Pokemon anywhere and if anybody needed help. Togetic and Riolu were helping any trainers that were injured get on their feet and head towards the bridge. As her Pokemon was helping others, the little girl noticed a big truck loading some Pokemon inside. It was Lt. Surge's Pokemon, the grunts closed the door to the back as they noticed Ulla saw them. Their eyes were locked on eachother as the little girl started walking over towards them. The grunts panicked as they rushed towards the front as the truck's engine started as they drove off. "Togetic Riolu we gotta go!" She shouted towards them and started sprinting off after the truck. Riolu and Togetic heard Ulla shout for them as they stopped what they were doing and started following her.

The truck started getting further and further away as Ulla started to slow down. Togetic then Riolu passed her, "Togetic Magical Leaf!" She shouted as she stopped running to catch her breath. Togetic flew even faster as leaves in the trees were coated with pink and purple aura as they were flying towards a tire of the truck. The leaves cut the tire as the truck spun and got lost in the forest. Ulla was breathing heavily still trying to catch her breath. Riolu came to her to check if she was okay while Togetic went to find the truck. "I-I'm fine...let's go find that truck." She said as they started walking into the forest.

The duo followed the tracks of the truck as they found the truck. Ulla looked inside to see the grunts were not there but Lt. Surge were there just really dizzy from the crash. "The Pokemon are here....but Togetic and those grunts aren't" Riolu closed his eyes to sense Togetic's aura. He got a sense of it as he barked to Ulla as he led the way. Not that far away, Togetic was dodging some stars but took a few hits from a Minior's swift. "Come on man! Hurry up and capture it! That girl can show up any minute now!" "Okay okay! Minior Take Down!" "Togetic dodge it!" Togetic came to his senses as he heard Ulla's voice as he quickly flew up to dodge Minor's attack.

The two grunts were scared as they saw Ulla show up with her Riolu. "W-We gotta go now! That's a Snagem!" "I know that! I can take this shrimp! Minior use Power Gem!" The Minior started glowing as some rocks around it were glowing as well as it launched itself and those rocks at Togetic. "Togetic use Magical Leaf!" Togetic was too slow as it took the full attack but it still used Magical Leaf to push it away. Togetic landed on the ground as the attack was super effective. "Togetic use-" Before Ulla could say anything Riolu gave the grunts a nasty glare as his blood was boiling. The grunt that was petrified and wanted to leave; screamed as he saw Riolu being enveloped in a dark aura. The grunt soon went off running on his own. "Your on your own dude!" "Are you serious?!" He shouted as he looked back at his Minior and then looked at Riolu. He was filled with fear as well as he started to run as well. Minior looked back and was about to chase after his trainer. "MINIOR USE SELF-DESTRUCT" He shouted.

Minior was shocked as he looked at Ulla and her Pokemon. "Are you serious?!" Ulla shouted as the Minior started to glow. She quickly recalled her Pokemon back into their Pokeballs. Minior started shaking as a big explosion happened that can be heard back near the bridge.

~Conclusion~

With the help of Team Snagem, the two gym leaders and the Alliance were victorious taking back their bridge. All of Team Aqua's ship were destroyed leaving some of Team Aqua's captains and grunts in the water. They were soon fished out the the Alliance and taken into custody, while others were able to get out of the war before it got too messy. Only a couple of Team Flare's ships were able to retreat while others were taken down by the Alliance's airships and Team Aqua's ships. Clay was able to get all of his troops safely as they were all taking a trip to Nurse Joy. He looked around as he found Wren and Keiko helping direct the troops and citizens where they needed to go.

Clay thanked them for their hard work and risking their lives. He looked around and then frowned, so much damage was done on their beautiful bridge. But, they can always rebuild. He gave Wren a slap on the back for a job well done. Commenting how much of a non-fighter he was, he did give Team Flare for a run for their money. He then asked Keiko where the little one was. Kieko told the western gym leader that she lost her in the midst of all the battling. Everyone looked around as they couldn't find her or any sign of Lt. Surge either.

Lt. Surge was walking down the road where Ulla and her team was last scene as he heard his Pokemon's cries. He started running to their cries as they popped out of the bushes and hugged their trainer. Lt. Surge was happy to see them as the reunion was soon broken as they pushed him towards where the explosion happened. As they arrived, the trees were broken and covered in soot or they were charred. Togetic was putting out some of the fire still from the self-destruct with Water gun from his hands from Metronome. Riolu was kicking dirt as some of the fire that was on the ground, both of the Pokemon were covered in soot as they both had streams of tears flowing down their face. Lt. Surge approached Riolu as Riolu turned to him as he was so happy to see someone. He started pulling him to where Ulla was. As they arrived, Lt. Surge was in shock.

Ulla had some burn marks and numerous scratches on her arms and legs probably from tree branches being flung everywhere from the self-destruct. Ulla was hugging a light blue Minior in her arms as it was crying loudly. The little girl was unconscious but woke up as she opened her eyes a little as she saw the soldier. She smiled softly. "The l-little guy hasn't stopped crying since I gave it a Revive....H-His trainer made them...s-self-destruct...so they could run away...w-what cowards...leaving him so scared. P-Please S-Surge...Don't blame him. He was just following orders." Ulla fell back into unconsciousness as he quickly picked her up and the Minior and told his Pokemon and Ulla's to head back to the others.
