We've given percentage bonuses in the past (even one last cycle, if I recall).
A 10% bonus is usually good up until there are half the Designers, then
15% works best. I actually did math at some point to get those numbers lol
But I will stand behind what Wolf thinks is best.

Meh, I don't like people not meeting a deadline when they have had a weekend (and reminders), but I do agree it would pretty much suck to only have 4 entries (or so) to judge for the second challenge. Kudos to Pixel for asking for an extension.

The_Slytherin_Goddess Holy confusion, Batman! We asked for cocktail dresses and so far
I feel like 2 are clearly gowns, one's kinda borderline and only one
is a real cocktail dress!! Are you guys getting the same vibe?BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! 2 definitely are gowns (though I do adore one of them) and the one real cocktail look so far looks great, but reminds me a lot of my cocktails at the cabana look (same side skirt and almost the same leg pose/heels):  Hopefully more will post before the deadline and not miss it.

rnadotsuki is withdrawing from the competition and we currently

Therefore, my vote is for a double elimination. We can say
goodbye to both Suki and the Designer who comes in last. It will
also hopefully drive the message home that we mean business.

Therefore, my vote is for a double elimination. We can say
goodbye to both Suki and the Designer who comes in last. It will
also hopefully drive the message home that we mean business. Yeah, I'm down with that. I dislike the idea of having to eliminate people who just don't turn in because it feels like the round doesn't matter as much for the designers that worked hard to get in on time, but there isn't much that can be done about that when people just don't turn in. confused So yes, I think double elims are good, and the person that goes home should be the lowest scorer from last round that doesn't turn in at all.

I Have Given Up and Tink_Bel have not submitted, and as stated, rnadotsuki has withdrawn. Providing Pixels submits by midnight tomorrow, it looks like I Have Given Up and rnadotsuki will be the two eliminated. If Pixels doesn't submit, then they will be eliminated instead of I Have Given Up based off of last week's score. And irritation of them not submitting after being granted and extension. xD
x_suicide_is_inevitable_x was technically a minute late, but I've had plenty of issues trying to post things on Gaia and I know he's had plenty of technical issues in the past so I'm accepting his entry. Though I think I'm gonna have to send a message just like a heads up that I don't want to be waiting until the last minute every challenge for an entry, you know?
Also heard from Tink_Bel and why she hasn't submitted, she's on an out of country trip and doesn't have WiFi! Sounds like she's been able to pop on a couple times in the app, but as such hasn't been able to see any announcements or interact in the guild at all. Also won't be back from her vacay until next Thursday. Depending on how long it takes us to discuss the winner of the challenge that might be more of a problem than other times.
I think that's that for like business things? xD I'm gonna be working on catching up on judging while I'm at work tomorrow. Still can't believe how many people submitted gowns and some of the excuses for not knowing cocktail dresses have just been odd. Is that just me??

I did receive word from Tink July 15th saying this round would be spotty. I also
received another message from her today asking for an extension and I granted
it, owing that she did contact me before the deadline.
I gave her until tomorrow (the 27th) to get something in.
So the only one to have not submitted without communicating reason is Given
Up. How ironic the name ....

Definitely weird how many people said they weren't sure what a cocktail dress was after Googling it. Not an obscure item or style by any means.
Yeah letting Suicide know to stop posting things right before the deadline is probably a good idea. I well know the site glitches, but why wait to the very last minute to begin with?
Odds are I won't be online til Monday or Tuesday as a heads up.
Give Up definitely makes sense to be the one eliminated this round for having not posted along with rnadotsuki who withdrew. But I'm also ok with the lowest score going home too. So I guess a triple elimination is what I am advocating for?
If you three are in agreement and want to have this decided before I have internet access again, I stand with ya and trust all of your judgements. Got all my scoring done right now and thoughts, so I will post those is a sec.

We are all in agreement on a double elimination, which is fantastic, haha. And since there's still been no word from I Have Given Up, she and rnadotsuki will be the two eliminated. Which really, means just Given Up will be eliminated since Suki withdrew, but that's just a technicality that will be expressed.
There were a few designers this week that should be grateful a designer didn't submit and another one withdrew, otherwise they would be going home though. And while they won't be a third eliminated designer, it will be stressed to them in the feedback that they were lucky.

Thank god the next challenge is pretty cut and dry and already has a lot of details built into the challenge description so it shouldn't be a problem. And I went through the upcoming challenges and clarified things where I thought there could be more difficulty. Just...I didn't think cocktail dresses needed as much defining as they apparently do. Will remember that for the future.

Sorry I took so long to finish up my judging. All done now. I'm starting to feel like the mean judge TBH sweatdrop I'm excited to see if next round will be better. (How have these people not heard of cocktail dresses? Is it a culture thing? I don't understand.)

Hello! I've got to say, I love having four judges, and seeing the variety of opinions and everything. Especially on challenges like this one that were unexpectedly rough. I think the next one will be good though!
Top Three
Kiwi Cannoli (Brooke) with 85%
x_suicide_is_inevitable_x (Ebony) with 83%
Tink_Bel (Zahara) and RENstrawberry (Madison) tie with 75%
Bottom Three
Your Local Gay (Dita) with 66%

So as stated above in this post and clearly stated before, we don't have to debate on the loser, I just wanted to list bottom scores so that mentors could quickly see who was in trouble and so I can quickly see who needs a heads up and things in feedback, haha.
I like all of the top looks, especially Kiwi and Suicide. I could really see either one of them as the winner. I prefer Suicide's by the tiniest margin? But I am good with going with the numbers, and Kiwi has had two strong weeks which I think should be rewarded.
