The duo of Tristen and Litten continued on. After not wanting to press their chances with the Sigilyph, a revelation came onto the boy. "I'm starting to think that, nice as this place is, we might not be all that good in staying here. Yea, sure, there are few grass types around, but then we got like ground Pokemon and some really strong psychic types too, and its not like you can fight those yet. At least easily..." Tristen said in observation.
"Mrrrr..." The cat replied as it continued following the boy as he explored out in front.
To hammer in that point, there was yet another Numel; a different one it seemed than the one they found earlier. Though this one was apparently asleep. "......" Tristen just crept backwards, hoping not to wake the Pokemon. "Let's...try to go to another spot...we might have found a Numel's nest." he told the cat. Last thing he wanted to do was piss off a bunch of Numel, let alone a potential Camerupt...if any were here.

As Tristen continued around the Oasis, he started to ponder the possibility of going elsewhere in this area. As far as he can recall, there are at least two or three spots that are loaded with all sorts of Pokemon to comb through. Admittedly, Tristen figured that this is perhaps him giving up too easily. He just got here and only saw a handful of Pokemon. More so, this was a training opportunity for his Pokemon, his Litten namely.
As Tristen tried to ponder his next move, once again the Litten's curiosity started to get the better of him. The cat started to move off into the brush, taking notice to something out of the norm for him. Tristen would soon jump from a sudden screech out of his feline. He turns around, just in time to see the cat flying out of the brush as if he got hit by something.
"NII!" A light blue Pokemon stomped out of the brush, digging her feet into the ground ready to strike once more.
"Litten! What did you do!?" Tristen shouted. He looked back, taking a good look at what Litten apparently ticked off. "A Nidoran Female?" Tristen asked. "Never mind. Litten, are you alright!?"
The cat managed to get back on its feet, hunched up and hissed at the Nidoran. "I'll take that as a yes." Tristen said. "Litten! Use Ember!" Tristen shouted. One thing that he remembered about Nidoran, rather it be male or female, was the poison barbs on them. While they aren't as prominent on the female as it was on the male, it didn't make them any less deadly and that was something that the boy was wanting to avoid. The cat fired off the flurry of embers upon the Nidoran, pelting the poison type and made it rear back quite a bit.
The Nidoran rushed in furiously afterwards, pouncing on the cat and started to swipe away furiously with its Fury Swipes attack. The cat howled out as it struggled to get the Nidoran off of him. "Litten! Use another Ember attack!" As the Litten kicked and swiped back to get the Nidoran off of him, the cat heard the command and fired off another ember flurry upon the Nidoran, causing considerably more damage to the Nidoran female. The Poison type backed off, just a short ways, then sprang right back, smacking the cat with its hind legs making the cat stagger back real hard.
"A double kick!" Tristen said. "She doesn't want to quit. Litten! Uh..." Tristen decided to take a chance. The Ember attack wasn't quite cutting it in this. "Fire Fang!" he shouted. The cat retaliated, rushing forward and clamping down on the Nidoran, maw lit ablaze and sunk right into it. The cat shook its head about to make sure that bite went right in deep then finally tossed it aside. The Nidoran didn't have any more fight in it after such an attack and was finally down for the count.
"Litten, are you alright? You're not poisoned, are you? Do you feel okay?" He asked, going towards his cat. After some examination for the better part of a minute, apparently Litten was lucky and avoided the Nidoran's Poison point. How much his luck will hold out will be a whole other matter, however.

As the boy started to find his way around the Oasis, trying to make sure that he doesn't run into anything unintentionally. As Litten would find out, something would find him unintentionally. Out from the brush, a Spinda comes out in such a hard totter, tripping and falling over on top of the cat. The cat would howl out in a panic, getting caught off guard and scurried forward towards Tristen in a panic, making Tristen jump up in a shock, quickly turning around to see what just happened. Tristen stared in confusion for a moment as the Spinda pushes itself back up right, back in a totter. Litten hisses out at the bear, ticked off that it came out in such a fashion.
"Litten, that's a Spinda...I don't think it meant it. It can't help it. Though I really don't know why they all are like that." Tristen said. "The Spinda looked back at Tristen and Litten for a moment then tottered right back off, stumbling into nearby bushes on the other side of the path. The two would hear a thud. The Spinda probably falling again. "......those Pokemon are weird."
"Rrrrrrr." Litten moaned out, still irritated from the bear's sudden entry.
"Come on."

Tristen made his way around the Oasis. So far, this place seemed to be pretty diverse in what Pokemon was around. Granted, a lot of these Pokemon were common place he noticed. Nidorans, Exeggcutes, Numel, though one doesn't see Spinda all that often, Tristen had to admit. He was kind of curious though just what the extent of the assortment is for this place. He would find out that it extended wider than he originally thought. From the nearby brush, out came a Cyndaquil, looking rather tempermental.
"A Cyndaquil?" Tristen spoke up. "Wow...that...can't be common...at all. Though...Blizz kinda already has one that evolved to Typhlosion...and I kinda don't wanna just...hmmm..." Tristen was looking a little distraught. Another thing that he remembered was that this was a contest either way, and such a Pokemon could better his chances in winning the competition. Though capturing a Pokemon for the sake of competition and nothing more seemed...pretty low. Furthermore, as far as his Pokemon team is concerned, let alone Snagem as a whole, it didn't seem to be of a help. Cyndaquil would be bragging rights if anything.
"RRRROOOWWR!"
"Huh?" In Tristen's thought, Cyndaquil already went on the attack, attacking Litten head on and ramming into it with a Quick Attack. "AAAH! Litten! Sorry! Use Bite attack! Hurry!" The boy shouted in a panic, now regretting getting lost in thought as he did. The Litten managed to get back up and pounce the fiery mouse, clamping down on the Cyndaquil, biting hard and rather rapidly to rack up the damage upon the mouse.
The Cyndaquil shook off the cat, then unleashed a thick plume of smoke. "A smokescreen!?" Tristen spoke up. Tristen and the Litten started coughing, trying to get air. The Litten retaliated without being told, blindly firing a Ember attack into the plume of smoke, not hitting anything. From the cloud, however, several star shaped projectiles started to fly through the smokescreen, pelting Litten and causing some damage to the cat.
"Gah, that was a swift. Litten! This way! Get out of the smoke!" Tristen shouted, rushing out, tailed by his Litten to get out of the smokescreen. Once they found their way out of the smoke, the two found they were also tailed by the Cyndaquil. "Litten! Scratch attack!" Tristen shouted. The cat managed to get a breath of fresh air then went back on the attack, rushing in and swiping hard at the mouse Pokemon, causing a good deal of damage to the Cyndaquil. The Cyndaquil staggers back a bit, wincing from the attack, then retaliated, dashing super quickly all about, juking and weaving, eventually tackling the Litten with yet another Quick Attack.
"Ugh, just like Typhlosion." Tristen said. "Litten! Bite!" He shouted. The Litten rushed in and once again pounced the mouse Pokemon, clamping down fiercely with its maw. The Cyndaquil squealed out in pain, flailing about trying to shake the cat off of him once again and managing to do so, just in front of him to unleash another star flurry upon Litten once again. The cat howled out, taking some more extensive damage.
The battle was dragging on longer than Tristen cared for it to. "Litten! Bite again! Keep it up!" The Litten shook the pain and pounced the rat once again, biting fiercely and refused to relent until this mouse surrendered. Once again, the Cyndaquil flailed to get the relentless cat off of it, but this time, there was no shaking it off. The mouse Pokemon ended up falling. "...wow. That was, rougher than the others...If I had known that, I would have tried to run from him. Then again, I don't think it would have been possible the way it came after us."
"Merrrowrr..." Litten chimed in, pawing the downed Cyndaquil to see if there was any more life out of there.
"Come on. Hopefully he won't come back after us." Tristen said to Litten. With that the two made their way off before they fought any harsher opponents.

Tristen made his way around, moving around the brush until he noticed a familiar sight. Apparently they circled around way too much and didn't deviate. There was that sleeping Numel there once again that Tristen didn't want to disturb. "We...might should have taken a left turn...I kind of don't want to upset that thing..." Tristen said. The boy went to take a few steps backward, not wanting to wake up the Numel up. Once he was in the clear, he gives a sigh then turns around and starts walking normally...until he ends up stubbing his toe on something hard and trips.
"AAA!" He hits the ground with a thud then quickly flips around and then feels all up and down his leg. Knee hurts from how he landed, toe hurts like crazy from hitting...whatever it was he hit. "What was that!? OOWWWW!" Tristen said through his teeth. Tristen looked over in front of him. The boy couldn't feel any more irritated from the cliche that was in front of him. "A rock. Why. A rock. Ughhhh..." The boy grimaced hard then started to pushed himself up.
As the boy tried to tend to himself, the cat looked down at the rock, giving it a smell then started to dig around it. "...what are you doing, Litten? It's nothing."
"Rrrowwrr...Rrrrrr..."
"What are you talking about." After some of the sands around the oasis started to get cleared away, the rock actually had some sort of shape. "What...is that...?" Tristen hobbles over and then clears more of the dirt away. This wasn't an ordinary rock. "........? Is this a fossil?" Tristen asked. He was told about these at one time, but he wasn't quite sure. "...maybe...I'll keep it for now...maybe Blizz knows something." Tristen said, stashing the rock for the time being.

Outer Desert
As Aile was walking, she'd begin to notice some of the sand around her being disturbed from underneath. "Hm..." The woman would stand still, debating on whether to send out Sarlaac to keep an eye on things underneath the sand or not. As she debated this, the Pokémon that was tracking her decided to make its appearance, a little sand crocodile that looked like it was wearing shades. "Well then. I guess we'll start things off here. Fett!" Aile threw out the Great Ball she was tossing around, sending out the Shadow Rhydon from Coumarine.
"Doooooon!" He snorted as the beast stared down the Sandile, debating on what to do with it. The Sandile however, would decide to start things off by summoning a Sandstorm to make it more comfortable in its hunting. Aile would barely be phased by it, however, and Fett even less so.
"Alright Fett, go use- Wait, stop!" The Rhydon would ignore Aile, however, and slam down his arm onto the poor creature, the Hammer Arm looking like it could have nearly broken the poor Sandile's back. Once the Sandile recovered, it would bury itself back into the sand, fleeing from the scary beast that tried to kill it.
"Well, I suppose that works..." The Rhydon would snort as he turned his head to stare at Aile, currently deciding to to attack his new trainer. "Hey, calm down. We're going to work on getting you purified here, so...." She held her hands up as she walked closer to Rhydon, trying to show that she wasn't a threat. Fett would look at her for a moment before turning his head and starting to walk off in a direction, stomping his way off. At least he wasn't running, staying at a pace Aile could keep up with.
