Absinthe donned a stern look as she considered her Pawmi, which she hadn't even named yet. "Honestly, since I kept forgetting about this little guy, he isn't very well trained. ...though I guess that could be of use in this situation. I just hope he comes back to me when he's done."

Absinthe started to head to the opponent's camp when she heard Sub bark another order. Looking forward, there was a strangely pink girl she didn't recognize. Absinthe didn't get why he wanted her restrained, but what was she in Snagem for if not to follow orders? Letting Palladia out of her ball, the blonde, adolescent brat would point at Leslie. "Grab her!" Palladia marched off as a result. Trusting in her Machamp, Abby made her way to the outskirts of the enemy camp before kneeling down and focusing on Pawmi. "I want you to go in there and cause a ruckus. Really, feel free to go wild and bother people as much as you can. Just make sure you come back to me before dark, alright?"

The Pawmi, unfamiliar with humans as it'd recently hatched, wasn't sure exactly what was being asked of it. It did have a strong urge to seek praise from the entitty it saw as its parental figure, and acted on that urge by running off and causing damage, destroying objects and letting sparks of electricity fly from its body, aimed at foreign entities - human and Pokemon alike.

Amber listened as Sub outlined his plan for them, and she had to admit, she liked it. This would give her a chance to practice her invisibility more, as well as go scouting to see what she could find inside that garage. Who knew, perhaps it was some kind of treasure they were keeping in there? Only one way to find out. When Sub asked if they were ready, Amber gave a nod, then watched as a figure she didn't recognize dove between Abby and Sub, apparently gunning for a random Rookidee that had landed on Sub's shoulder. She blinked owlishly as Leslie took off after the Flying-type, confused as to what had just happened. At least, until she saw where the two were headed.

Couldn't just one thing go right for once? Or was that too much to ask for? Amber gave a sigh as she looked at a seemingly empty space to her left. "Go," she said. "Use Mean Look to stop her so that Palladia can grab her." There was seemingly no answer, though one didn't have to be a channeler or a hybrid to feel the sudden slight ominous energy that accompanied a certain mischievous Misdreavus. "Spooky, go speak to that Rookidee and get it out of there." The Shuppet, for once actually visible, gave a slight nod and vanished. "I'll go see if I can find out what's in that garage while Abby's Pawmi is making a ruckus," she said, vanishing from sight with a slight cool breeze.

She might have been very singular in her pursuit of that detestable bird, but Leslie was still paying attention to things around her. I mean, she HAD given Sub and Absinthe a hello and everything before she continued her pursuit. So when she heard a shout from Absinthe about 'grabbing her', she immediately concluded that they had decided her mission was somehow lesser compared to what they were doing and thus she needed to be stopped from it to join whatever nonsense they were doing and hadn't told her about. Taking a look back at the Machamp that was slowly gaining ground on her, she would adjust her grip on her hammer in preparation for the fight that she was anticipating was about to start. At least until the vague sensation and sight of something slipping past made her attention jump back to the direction she was running. No idea what the thing was about to do, but it wasn't hard to figure it was going to launch something towards her. Taking quick stock of where she expected the thing in front to be and where Palladia was behind her, she would do her best to line them up with each other.

As soon as the barest hint of the mystery thing appeared in front of her, Leslie would drop her hammer behind her while still keeping a hold on the handle. The sudden brake as the hammer head smacked into the ground threw Leslie off of her feet and out of the likely firing line she expected the thing running intercept to shoot down. Rolling to the side as soon as she could, Leslie would finally see the Midreavus and the Mean Look it was now aiming in the direction of Palladia. "Missed me, you pendejos!" Leslie barked, scrambling back to her feet as she once again resumed her charge after that damned Rookiedee.

From its perch, the little Rookiedee could see his friend had managed to get up and coming along to join the rest of the people in this fun spot that they had set up here. Maybe she would be able to make even more friends here once she did that? Cause it seemed like the other people weren't being quite as friendly as expected.

Palladia and Misdreavus would make eye contact as Leslie expertly slipped out of the way, the Fighting and Ghost type not at risk of running into each other, as they physically couldn't, but Palladia was certainly at risk of something else as the gaze of the ghost caused his entire body to seized up. In time Palladia would be able to move, though not far from the Misdreavus, but those few seconds of unhindered pursuit of her prey was all Leslie needed. The next thing in Leslie's path was a wall of scrap metal and she had a hammer just for it.

-----

"Monique and Cereza, nice to meet you both." Mela welcomed them. "That certainly sounds like Giacomo, what with all his rules. He never agreed with how-" Before Mela could say much else a certain hammer wielding pink gremlin would come crashing through the makeshift wall that surrounded the compound, the Fairy hybrid in hot pursuit of her Rookidee prey, to such a degree that she barely acknowledged the wall that was previously in her way. The various grunts would become alert to Leslie's presence as they began to run towards her, Pokeballs in hand, two of them arriving on the scene first on the backs of their Growl-ing Cyclizars.

As for Mela she simply turned to face the sound, stared off in that direction for awhile, and then slowly turned her head to face Monique and 'Cereza', the later of the two picking up a straight thought of extreme anger that was in conflict with the cool stare they were receiving, or rather were. "Liars!" Mela roared, her Charcadet platoon, jumping to attention and pointing their hands at the two Snagems, a ball of flame forming in-between their arms as they readied to launch a Fire move at any moment. "Who are you two really!? Who sent you!?" Mela roared, blowing up like one might expect a Fire specialist to.

-----

"...well that was ruined..." Sub sighed as he watched Leslie crash through the wall from his position on the hill. Taking out his SNAG he spoke to Deo through it. "That's your cue." He informed the hybrid, that was he was nearest to help Monique and Cera out. It would take both Abby and Amber longer to get their Pokemon collected and down the hill but he would still speak to them as well through the SNAG. "Leslie has breached the compound! Go get Monique and Cera out of there!" He said. They of course would have to take the hard way in now that there was a swarm of grunts filling into Leslie's breach. With that done he turned to Claydol. "Let's see if this works."

That went terrible, mission busted, but now he had a new goal. This was to get the 2 out of there. He informed Sub "Crap, looks like this pink hammer wielding gremlin has ruined our plan. It... wait... THAT was Leslie? The human punk who told me that I dropped my badge in the food? THAT PUNK?!?!" Deo said angrily and decided to speed to the wall in a full sprint to hop over the wall or at least onto the wall to climb to sneak into the back. Of course, Deo was mad as hornets being disturbed. He would be quick to avoid battles as he would rush to grab the 2 hybrids and nope out of there.

Of course Deo was not going to waste time, if the wall fell, no time to wasting as he would try to get up and get to it. The punk would get chewed out later, there was a more important task at hand: Rescue the 2 SNAGEMS in trouble and get out of there fast.

Mela had barely opened her mouth before a crashing noise could be heard nearby. The three women turned to look at the scene as two grunts arrived on snarling Cyclizars. Monique did all she could to prevent a big grimace on her face. Uh-oh.

She looked back at them with a stare that belied her fiery getup. "Liars!" she belted, gesturing at the platoon, which responded by creating a ball of fire.

"Who are you two really!? Who sent you!?" Mela was furious.

"Monique Ka'ana'ana, member of Team Snagem." If Mela weren't staring at the ball of fire, she might have noticed a change in Illusion. "I have business with you, and I didn't want to attack, but..." She reached for the Poké Ball that contained Kalama. For a moment, she contemplated wielding it as a threat, but that moment had already passed. The Charcadet were threatening enough.

Within moments, Mela would see a new source of fire: the flaming bone of an Alolan Marowak.

"Well, so much for that," Absinthe huffed. Noticing that Palladia was starting at someone's Ghost-type instead of doing her job, Absinthe wordlessly recalled her. With that, she ran up to where her Pawmi was. "Sorry, but change of plans," she blurted, scooping up the the Electric-type and dashing off to where Monique and some girl she didn't recognize was. Sliding to a stop next to the two, Pawmi leaped off her trainer's shoulder. Abby didn't say it, but she coudln't help but think that a direct approach like this was more her style, anyway.

Getting up from her evasive action, it wouldn't take Leslie long to assess her next obstacle. Namely, the ramshackle and barely held together wall that stood in her path as apparently this locale's bastion of defense. While she might be lacking the titanium skull that she previously had, the small hybrid still felt confident she could manage her way around the wall. Getting a solid grip on her hammer, she would send the implement swinging into the wall and be rewarded for her efforts with the ear-pleasing sound of scattering metal, clattering pipes, and the sound of surprise from the people around. All in a day's work to hunt down that blasted bird.

Unfortunately, her bout of violence against this obviously illegal squatter camp seemed to have roused a response from the miscreants who had implemented this thing. Watching as two of the strange lizard bikes skid to a stop in front of her and hearing their attempted intimidating growls against her, Leslie felt herself faltering in her step despite her own bravado. Gritting her teeth and turning to face her new opposition, Leslie would throw a Pokeball down as she charged towards the leftmost grunt. "Lacuna! Iron Head! We got some putas to obliterate!" Leslie crowed, a pink glow visible around her hammer as she dove in with a Play Rough. Beside her, her Mawile would be glowing a steely-gray and she swung her horn around to try and club both the Cyclizar and its rider.

Amber would use all the current chaos to slip into the garage undetected, the ghost having no problem passing through the walls. Inside she would find a dimly light room with a giant machine of sorts taking up almost the entire garage. It was red in color, had wheels on it that looked kind of small for the thing's size, giant speakers on its side, tons of light bulbs (which were currently off), flags, strobe light balls, and a platform on the top with railing. What on Earth was this thing? It looked like it could be some sort of vehicle but Amber would wonder how it could even move, it did not look mobile at all, instead it just looked like a giant stage for someone to perform on. Maybe that's what it was, a roll away stage, though you'd need at least two Mudsdale to move something this big and heavy.

Regardless of what it was this was all that was in here besides some tools. Why they would have such a thing was anyone's guess. As she poked around she could hear the chaos going on outside, lots of shouting and Pokemon sounds. While those sounds filled her ears Amber would not hear the sound of crackling flames as a certain Charcadet hybrid, hiding on the other side of the giant machine, charged up and launched an Ember fireball at her.

It didn't take long for her to phase through the wall of the garage, and what she saw was...confusing? Was that the right word? It looked like some kind of vehicle, but the wheels were entirely too small for the thing's bulk. If it was a vehicle, how did they get it to move? There didn't appear to be any kind of steering mechanism, and it looked heavy enough that it would take considerable force to move the thing physically.

While she was checking out the vehicle-stage-thing, she could hear the sounds of chaos outside, and she sighed as Arauth appeared beside her, knowing something had happened if the Misdreavus was in here. Unfortunately, in hearing the sounds of the outside chaos, she didn't realize that her invisibility had finally worn off, nor did she hear the sound of crackling flames of the sudden Ember until it hit her in the side, causing her to let out a cry of pain and turn to face her attacker as Bubbles, her Frogadier, appeared from her Pokeball. "Use Water Pulse on that hybrid!" she said, gritting her teeth from the pain. Being part Ice-type sucked in situations like this.

Cera was more than willing to listen to Mela, if only to have a bit more information to work off of with this whole Team Star thing. And maybe keep the lie going just a little longer. But then a mental signature she wasn't expecting was suddenly picked up.

"...Leslie? I don't recognize that form and your energy's really different, but could you have waited before busting in like a Tauros in a-"

The harsh mental whispers of a transformed Mew would suddenly stop as the stray thought from Mela's red-hot anger instead sent a shiver down her spine and a feeling that the cool stare was just the the eyes of the storm swelling around her and Monique. The roar further confirmed her right to be apprehensive about the stray thought, let alone the platoon of Charcadet ready to grill the both of them in a much more literal sense.

Maybe it wasn't blown fully yet, maybe there was still a chance of fixing this by just passing Leslie off as a sudden weird occurrence. "I don't know th-"

Oh. Monique just slipped and altered her illusion. And released her Alolan Marowak. And Leslie was attacking. Plan B was already in tatters. Plans C, D and E weren't looking great either as she gave the straightest face she could that was threatening to crack from the chaos of the others starting to come in for them. Cera wasn't sure she even had a plan beyond B in the first place.

Her Smoliv crying and spewing oil around herself in response to the Charcadet and Mela, Cera put her hand to the temple of her nose and gave a hard sigh. "We really were here for business and not to fight," she remarked, conjuring a single Aura Sphere in case she had to defend herself. "Just... we maaaaybe kinda lied about the whole Schedar Squad thing."

Leslie and Mawile would club into submission the Cyclizar and their riders, one rider knocked out cold, due to Leslie, while the other managed to slip away and flee on foot with a few bruises and scraps thanks to Mawile. By the time they were down both Cyclizar were unconscious and sprawled out on the ground, at least one was. The other Cyclizar, which Mawile had attacked, would disappear in a cloud of white and be replaced by its own severed tail, the now tailless Cyclizar appearing behind Leslie, now bent over backwards and curled up to look like a tire, rotating violently as it threatened to slam into Leslie's back with a Rapid Spin.

As Abby headed into the compound she would spot several grunts heading in Leslie's direction, these grunts either ignoring her or not seeing her as they rushed to the aid of their companion. Two Pokemon were released by them as they prepared to assault Leslie from a distance, a pair of Houndour beginning to unleash streams of Smog at the Fairy hybrid, the gases about to quickly flow in that direction thanks to the breeze. Abby had to choose to either come to Monique and Cera's aid or prevent Leslie from being ambushed.

-----

Mela would sneer at Monique as she released her Marowak, not only taking the appearance of the Pokemon as a threat but also seeing it as an insult to herslef seeing as it was a Fire type, her specialty. When Cera spoke Mela would raise her hand, instructing the many Charcadet to stay their attacks, the Pokemon ceasing the charge up of their Ember attacks but not dispelling the already made balls of fire, just in case.

"Is that so?" Mela said, her temper cooling as she folded her arms, a thought coming to mind. "I do not know what business you might have with me but you have humiliated me in front of my squad, intruded on our camp, and turned a Fire type against me. I cannot that these insults stand, however I will give you a chance to carry out whatever business you have with me. Defeat me in battle, just the two of you, and I'll hear you out, provide for you whatever you need. Lose and you all will join Schedar Squad, fix our wall, and work off the debt you owe our honor. Do we have a deal?" She offered the pair, apparently Mela was a honorable woman, in spite of her bouts of hotheadedness. "Or I can let me Charcadet platoon deal with you. I know this isn't much of an choice but it is one." She said, the many Fire types growing their Ember fireballs in size for emphasis.

-----

While Deo would rush for Monique and Cera he would have to run past the giant garage at the back of the camp, where Amber was currently dealing with an assailant. He couldn't hear what was going on in there, but he was about to find out.

-----

Inside the garage the Charcadet hybrid himself was taken by surprise by Bubbles, the Frogadier's Water Pulse slamming into the hybrid, sweeping it off its feet as he tripped over some tools on the ground, sending him stumbling into and through the poorly made wall. The hybrid would fall on the ground in the path of the charging Luxray hybrid. In the Charcadet hybrid's panic upon seeing this man about to run him down, it would slam its flaming hands on the ground and conjure up a large vortex of fire around it via Fire Spin. Unfortunately for Deo he definitely wouldn't be able to stop in time, his own momentum carrying him right into the Fire Spin.

As for Amber she would just see the Charcadet hybrid go through the wall and make it outside just in time to see Deo run into the Fire Spin. She better help him out.

Absinthe glared at the grunts chasing after Leslie. Her initial reaction was to punish them for ignoring her, but honestly, Leslie was asking for what she was getting by Leroy Jenkins'ing her way through enemy territory. With a shrug, Abby ran ahead, eventually catching up with Monique and Cera in time to catch the latter half of Mela's rant.

"Sorry, but the only one you're battling is me," Abby insisted, flinging her Pawmi at the enemy leader. Fortunately, the under-trained Pikachu-wannabe had the wherewithal to stick a leg out, aimed at Mela's haughty face. It wasn't using a move, but if something other than Mela's face got in its way, that'd change real fast.

Proud of her assault, Abby checked on Monique and Cera. "You two good?" she asked, hoping they hadn't gotten too messed up on their way here.

Amber was still smarting from the Ember, and as bad as it hurt, she suspected she might have a slight Burn. Not a good thing to be dealing with at the moment. She felt a grim satisfaction to see the hybrid crash through the poorly-crafted wall from Bubbles' Water Pulse, though unfortunately, that put him right in the path of Deo's charging form. Ah, crap. Now what? Thinking quickly, she got an idea. If she could pull it off, this just might work, but if not, it might weaken the Fire Spin the Charcadet hybrid was putting out now.

"Bubbles, Waterfall," she ordered. "Arauth, use Psychic to make it surround the Fire Spin and the hybrid, try to weaken it." If this worked, once the water was charged, she would have Arauth drop the entire thing on the Charcadet hybrid, hopefully knocking him out, but if it didn't, it could still do some damage.

She didn't know if Deo could actually use any attacks, but another idea just popped into her mind. That could actually work. She knew Spooky had returned to her side, unable to convince the Rookidee to leave, so she could use one of his moves for the last part of her idea. "Spooky, use Thunderbolt on Deo!" she said, loud enough the Luxray hybrid could hear her. "Deo, if you're able, use the electricity from the Thunderbolt to power up!"
