The ring movies were terrible. A prime example of the poor taste for horror so common nowadays.
Of the movies mentioned so far, House of Wax is the scariest. Paris Hilton always gives me nightmares.

I've noticed a lot of people ripping on the Ring lately. Although I can't say much for the american version, Ringu and Ringu 2 were decently done in my personal opinion. Enough so that I have all the manga. I'm just lucky enough that our video place has the original japanese versions as well as the american ones (which I just won't watch for some reason).

I love horror movies. They're my favorite to watch. I like all kinds of horror movies, lately I've been watching asian horror and i think I might like it more than american horror.

rofl Damn that movie was funny... A freaked-out little girl spinning her head around, spitting blood upside-down, and screaming obscenities at the top of her lungs while vomiting pea soup on a priest. Good times, good times.

I actually like older horror movies. Well, assuming that they were supposed to be Horror movies. Like all of the Poltergeist movies. Actually, those are the only ones. xd Other than that, I loved Saw I and Saw II, but I wasn't a fan of the third one.
Major Suggestion: Wishing Stairs. It's a Korean film. Not necessarily "scary," but it's still really, really good.

Stay Alive is an excellent movie. It's about Elizabeth Bathory. And video games. A perfect mix.

And Ring. The original Japanese version. It's pretty creepy. I was watching it with my sister and dad and right when the credits started rolling the phone rang. But it was just my Grandma's friend Helma. Creepy.
