HP Movie Mistakes! +{3nd movie mistakes started at pg.5}+

Continuity: When Hedwig comes flying in delivering the broom, she drops it at an angle, but when Harry catches it it's completely horizontal.

Revealing: In the flying letters scene, when the letters are coming through the chimney, if you look closely when Harry catches one you can see that the letters are all photocopied because the letter seal is not raised.

Continuity: After Seamus' disaster with the rum spell, the mail arrives. Ron catches his mail, then holds the Daily Prophet in his right hand and the letters in his left. Yet in the next close-up he holds the Daily Prophet in his left hand and the letters in his right.

Revealing: After Hagrid says, "Dry up, Dursley, you great prune," in the next shot just as Vernon fires the bent gun, before the hole actually appears, the light at the muzzle end illuminates the floor above and the outline of the pre-made hole is visible.

Continuity: At the start of term feast, after Harry is sorted into Gryffindor, he sits down on the right side of the table next to Ron. When the feast appears, Harry is on the other side of the table, next to Hermione.

Revealing: Daniel Radcliffe, the boy who plays Harry Potter, has naturally BLUE eyes. In some shots Chris Columbus, the director, changed Daniel's eye color. But Chris C. didn't want to use that the whole time. It's NOT a lighting problem.

in fact his eyes have been a different colour in each movie... look on the covers... in one film hehas blue eyes another he has green another he has brown... then there ares mixtures... its ridiculous!

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002) - they had 254 mistakes, but I will not list them all.

Continuity: At the beginning of the scene near the end of the movie with Lucius Malfoy fuming at Dumbledore in his office, Malfoy's hair is fanned back behind his shoulders. The lighting in the room illuminates the back of his neck, where you can see his real, short brown hair.

Visible crew/equipment: In the dueling scene, when Snape pulls Malfoy back onto his feet, a cameraman is visible on the far left of the screen.

Continuity: When Lockhart falls down the hole into the Chamber of Secrets, we hear him hit the ground a second or two later. When Ron and Harry jump down, not only do they take longer to get down, they also slide down the pipe, rather than fall straight down.

Revealing: In the Quidditch scene, Harry breaks his right arm and cradles it on his chest, but when he is laying on the ground after he falls off his broom, he then leans directly on it when he sits up to get away from the Bludger. In the shot immediately afterward, he has his hand cradled in front of him again.

Continuity: When Myrtle is flooding the girls' bathroom, the tap that later doesn't work (the entrance to the Chamber) is happily churning out water - it's on the side nearest the door, so we see it clearly both times.

Revealing: During the car flight (on the way to Hogwarts) Harry and Ron are have gone out of control outside Hogwarts. During the scene when the car is approaching the whomping willow the car is massively out of proportion compared to when the car is in the tree.
