What 4kids irked me about had something to do like that. they say "five thousand years ago" when CLEARLY it was 3 thousand, which is how Takahashi-sama planned and researched it on. If it had been 5 thousand like 4Kids claimed, then horses would not have yet been introduced to Egypt (the only reason there isn't a horse-headed Egyptian deity) and the elaborate jewelry, especially earrings, would not have been manufactured by then.
However, in the tie period Takahashi-sama used, these were present and of common use.

Notice, again, how the American company is proven inferior to the Japanese citizen...

...when you "accidentially" get your local conservative Christians on your block angered at you... Because you drew a BEWD slaughtering a Scapegoat that looked like a sheep. <---- I still have the picture lamenated

...when you find some old Series One eppies- and develop a phobia of Dark Yuugi. <---- and original manga canon

...when you've realized that you've been roleplaying the same character for 5 years <---- getting there. I celebrate the anniversary of when I found out Seto existed.

...when you then decide to take your RPing "up a notch" and start doing yugioh LARP (live-action role play) <--- see above

...When you believe that Seto is God, and you start sacrificing sheep to appease the Blue Eyes White Dragon. <---- haven't sacrificed sheep, but Seto actually is a god. Seth or Set of ancient Egyptian myth, being the god of chaos.

Desert = dangerous, scary, vast, and isolated, but still beneficial. Oh the irony...

(Hai... it's long... but very, very, very accurate... and hai I'm obsessed with Ancient Khemet... that's why I used Khemetic terms...)

What 4kids irked me about had something to do like that. they say "five thousand years ago" when CLEARLY it was 3 thousand, which is how Takahashi-sama planned and researched it on. If it had been 5 thousand like 4Kids claimed, then horses would not have yet been introduced to Egypt (the only reason there isn't a horse-headed Egyptian deity) and the elaborate jewelry, especially earrings, would not have been manufactured by then.
However, in the tie period Takahashi-sama used, these were present and of common use.

Notice, again, how the American company is proven inferior to the Japanese citizen...

*nods* And 5000 years ago the Old Kingdom was just starting, and they had step-pyramids. In the anime there were pyramids like the ones at Giza. If it had been 5000 years ago then the anime would have been inaccurate... *hits 4Kids with a barrel-hammer* The Memory Arc took place in the NEW KINGDOM... not the Old Kingdom... *growls*

And then you keep yourself distanced from all of the human population because you must not fall for someone else before then. For these people, I'd suggest getting a life. When you spend ten minutes of class time yelling at your french teacher because she couldn't understand why you love Seto Kaiba so much.

When you spend 3 months using white-out to cover the words "God" or "Lord" or "Jesus" and such in a full bible, and write Seto or Kaiba in it's place.

When you frame a picture of Seto, and carry it around everywhere, and get mad at people who try to touch it.

When you're making out with your loved one, you say "Oh Seto..." by accident.

When you post as many pictures of Seto as you can all over your walls and ceiling and furniture, and then fill a binder because there's no more places to put them.

When you take every oportunity you can to use Seto in your homework. [If Seto had 14 Blue Eyes White Dragon jets... And then Mokuba bought him 200% more, how many jets would Seto have?]

When you can't bring yourself to put a picture of him in your signature because none glorify his being enough.

When your parents ground you for over-filling the computer's memory with pictures. gonk

You watch/read WAY too much yugioh when...

1. Your siggy looks like mine (picky on the right... bwhahahaha!)
2. You need a seperate file for your yigioh pics that is password protected, lest your brother should decide to have some actual space on the hard-drive sweatdrop
3. You plan on changing your name to that of your favy Yugioh character (ex: Cathy Kaiba, Seto Kaiba Smith, etc)
4. You name your kid after your favy character
5. You/your family can quote the show at any given time because you watch it WAY too many hours on DVD
6. You find yourself humming the themesong
7. 3 words: Shrine to Seto
