Adam T Nightclaw Nightheartwolf Adam T Nightclaw Davin_Nightwind It all started when I was a kid...Although I didn't realize it at the time, most of what I watched on TV involved furries (Expecially the disney version of Robin Hood, which I...um...still watch from time to time... sweatdrop ...anyway...) and when I really started reading, most of the books involved furries. It really wasn't until I read the Magic the Gathering: Legends Cycle with Jedit Ojienan ( I slaughtered that, I know...) that I started to realize that something about me was different. Then I started writing stories with furry characters, though, again, at the time, I didn't know what it ment, so I kept writing and reading, expecally the Redwall books (classics, I might add). But it really wasn't until I saw some furry art that drew my attention that I really started to realize it. I felt something different in my very soul, though I couldn't explain what it was (kinda like when I realized that I was bi...). Then, thanks to somefur's AFG banner, I found this guild and it finally hit me...I was a furry. I had finally found a place where I belonged, somewhere I could be with other people like me. I was so happy... Sorry if that sounded corny... Don't feel bad, I still own/watch a lot of the old Disney movies that feature furs. *Laughs* haha me too! lion king, robin hood, jungle book, heh... sweatdrop yeah and although not disney Balto! ^^ Who did make the Balto moves? I can't remember. *Runs off to Canada, and gay marries Balto* I also like The Great Mouse Detective, and I think I wore out the tape of The Rescuers Down Under. I love that scene were the kid is flying on the back of the bird. I dreamt once that I was the bird, and I am angered to this day that I didn't get to finnish the dream. *Laughs* Universal made Balto.

Krissim Klaw Aylin Mari Dakarai My family's known for our love of animals. Ask any member of a Nugent/Davey clan and 99% of the time they'll be little treehugging dorks. I've always felt very close to aniamls and our dog Sandy knows more of my Scearts(Spelling?) then my own mother. Butterfiles have always interested me. They and Dolphans are my symbols. Whenever I'm near one I get very good luck. So if I'm not surrounded by Dolphan or butterfly things i'm bond to have somthing unlucky happen. However I have certain fear of dorwning so become apart of the butterfly race, <3 Making sure I dress brightly colored and drawing /writing things about them. one day I hope to fly. While My insectana is already a fully gorwn butterfly alas I'm still merely a fatish catapiller. eek Your fursonia is a butterfly? Can it be that another insect has finally joined the guild? eek Yup My Fursona/Inesctona is butterfly. n_n It's so rare to find another that is more insect based. e_e

Apart from Spiders and bees me and insects have a very good relationship. I even had a pet Ladybug amd fly.
One day when I move out of My folk's home I'm gonna try and cosplay as Aylin and her male alter ego Lou. Just have to work on my Wing patterns. @_@

Yes so rare, that your the first insect furry I've met. XD Course I'm not the most wide spread fur when it comes to other chat areas. Just to lazy XP
O.o and got to love our little insects. I've had so many. When I was younger me and my friends used to keep grasshoppers all the time. Even put on some grasshopper shows for like 50 cents around the neighborhood. Now that was funny not to mention a disaster.
Now a days it's mostly mantises for me. Hatch and raise them all the time. Got two babes right now, Siren and Redrum. I do love butterflies though, they are actually somewhat of a symbol of mine. At the same time though, I do catch and feed them to my full grown mantises. I do that with a lot of insects though, want to keep the little bugs healthy with a variety of prey. sweatdrop

Hehehe, no don't worry they don't eat friends... well I can keep them caged so they won't eat friends. The little glutons would try to eat eachother if I let them. XP
Have you ever been to butterfly world. That place has tons of butterflies. One even landed on me...wouldn't get off either. XD I know they had catterpillars you could get. Could always try ordering a few of the internet if you can't find any at the moment.
It was so funny. We used to spend a day or two "trainning them" supposedly for little tricks and stuff then wheel them around from house to house. It was all just so funny now that I look back on it. xd

I always had a 'thing' for furries, I guess... I just spent some time on the internet discovering and researching what a furry was... And then I spent an even longer time deciding if this was truly me.
=^_^= Been a fur for almost 3 years now.

And yes, you are safe from my buggies. They really are such sweet little creatures. Very people friendly, will follow you around, and when they are older and get their wings, they will fly right to you. We had an act like that for a grasshopper. It was suppose to walk from one end of a little string to the other. We also had little hoops that the water grasshoppers were suppose to swim through. And seesaw act that two grasshopers were suppose to sit on. And a bunch more. rofl

The one BIGGEST thing that awakened my furry side is......
Well, yiff. There's no getting around it that once I saw it, I was hooked. I had to have more. And through the miracle of the Internet, I found more and more and more. Furry art is the main thing that made me realize how awesome being a furry is.
Plus, the whole concept of wearing a collar, tail and ears in public and being able to be proud of it seemed cool too. ^^

How I found out I was a furry. Well I guess you could say I've always been a furry, I've been a big fan of most of the Sonic the Hedgehog Genres and Starfox. I remember, I discovered the furry fandom at the age of 13, when I started to think about how cool it would be if Sonic was real, although I was in denile until 15 though because I thought it was bad that I was attracted to Sally and the rest of the Female characters. I truly knew I was a furry though when I sat down and began drawing a wolf character, and the moment I finished, I realised I was just drawing myself. sweatdrop
