I cried like baby in both OoT and HBP. I really did. I had to put the books down for a good ten minutes before I could start reading again.
And both times I went through complete denial. "NO! He's not dead! There's no wayshe would do that! He'll just jump out in the next chappie and say it was a prank....right?"
I still haven't re-read either of them because I just know when I do I'll bawl my eyes out again... just like the second time I read LoTR and Shelob stabbed Frodo. sweatdrop

sirius's death affected me more than dumbledore. i cried for sirius's death and dumbledore's death was just kind of shock.and i didn't even care that cedric died.
That was pretty sad, but I only cried in St. Mungos. I was close though.

I cried when Sirius died, but not until afterwards when Harry found the mirror and was sitting there, saying Sirius's name into it. That was so sad. But I didn't really cry when Dumbledore died, I was expecting it so even though it was upsetting, I just didn't get so teary. Though Hagrid's reaction was tough.

I did, and I threw the book against the wall and stormed out of my room crying and pushing things over when Sirius died. Then I went back into my room and apoligised to my book for my childish behavior. sweatdrop
