Dragon of Rising Star blossoming_angel i like both. the mangas betta in the story but the anime is betta in the effects and songs and stuff. True, true. But what can one expect? A graphic novel can't have sound effects or a themesong. Which poses another question. Anyone heard 'Heart of Sword?' That is one of the best anime ending themes ever! ^.^ I heard that the word "kenshin" means heart of a sword..

The manga, without question- It has the Jinchuu arc and Tomoe, whereas the anime never got around to including either of them.

domokun manga pwns totally and completely.
which is weird, because i started on the anime, the very first episode i saw was the second episode, and now i'v seen every ep except #97 (the lost ep).
when i started reading the manga i was like "woah, the manga kicks a**!"

I can actually sing most of it, though I'm sure any real speaker of japanese would recoil in agony if they heard it. (I'm doing it phonetically, after all) My friend had it on CD somehow, so now I listen to it almost every day on my iPod.

I like the manga because it doesn't have any "made up to make more money" crap. It just tells the story.

i just noticed something funny about season three. you know that thing they do after the preview with the picture? well when they changed it, they made it for the Jinchuu arc. Aoshi's not in his Anime costume!

I'll close my eyes...I prefer the Manga over the series. It bothers me how they add things in the series, as well as put things in a different order. It is better to see the actions scenes with the series, but overall i enjoy the Manga better. ...and let the whole thing pass me by.

I downloaded that song forever ago, about 5 years ago, off of some random site. I tried to find a karaoke verison of it so I could sing it for the chorus concert at my school last year, there was an international theme going on for it. ^.^

THere are good parts to both the anime and manga, I guess... Fights in the anime are better I like how Kenshin says "This one" in the manga Sojiro's voice annoys me in the anime I love Kenshin's voice in the anime I like most of the fillers in the anime Manga is more funny
Well, there's a lot more, but I don't feel like putting them here...

The manga definitely it's longer and makes the action that much more impressive.

I wouldn't say that the manga is longer, what with all the fillers in the anime, but it certainly has more important plot than the anime. No fillers whatsoever, and a section of very good if angsty plot that was completely left out of the anime! How much more can you ask for?
