Hahaha, i knew there was a reason why i like Kakuzu XD. Dude Kakuzu has like almost all the elements the only thing i don't see is Water. He is def. one of my favorite characters in Naruto. Heh, can't wait for the next chapter.

aznnam3dj1n Hahaha, i knew there was a reason why i like Kakuzu XD. Dude Kakuzu has like almost all the elements the only thing i don't see is Water. He is def. one of my favorite characters in Naruto. Heh, can't wait for the next chapter. half of those were Hidan's puppets, the Wind element was his, I think the Katon and Raiton were Kakuzu's.

Captain Verd I like how Kakuzu's an unlikeable freak. He's so ugly, it's great. That said, what happened to Kakashi's vest? It like, randomly disappeared. Explosion blew it off. He came back to stop a SECOND attack. They were fighting a total of 5 opponents.

CrabappleRed HOMG, this chapter was awsome heart Kakuzu, you have not disapointed. I'm so glad I was right you wouldn't cave in that easily. You trully are worthy of Akatsuki. And, mmmm, blood puppets. Fun-fun for everyone! And it looks like each one can use a different element. Very cool, very classic. Kakashi's gotta be feeling the burn after having counted those attacks, though. Mwahahaha. I wonder, do you have to kill the puppets before you can kill Kakuzu, or does it not matter? If Kakuzu dies, do the puppets? Ino's finally come over to join the team. KICK SOME a**, INO! One thing that bugs me though: what's with the scroll Shikamaru pulled out? And what was it that Shikamaru gave Kakashi? Soldier pills, maybe? I don't recall Shikamaru having soldier pills in his arson, though he DOES now have that utility belt. xd It didn't look like soldier pills because those are usually stored in a pouch in abundance... Chouji's pills were specially designed for his clan, and were not soldier pills... What he gave to Kakashi first struck me as a tiny scroll... but who the hell would need a tiny scroll?

I don't think he needs them to survive.

I don't think he needs them to survive. He did felt pain though...

They can't be kevlar, because, well, there's no reason for kevlar to be in the Naruto world. So. . . The Naruto world is clearly a lot like ours. They have clocks. TVs. Cars. Water, clearly. All the elements we do; we're in the same universe. According to what is logically likely, I have determined that because of their weight (how the cloth pulls on the body, how it bends, how it holds it shape) and because of the build (how it is put together) that is is made of the same heavy material that camouflage is made out of. The real stuff; not the fashion stuff. The way that the material holds it's very distinct shape, and how it rests on the body, has also lead to me drawing the conclusion that they are padded, which suggests that they are armored. The vest is made of two pieces; the top and the bottom. The top consists of the shoulder pads and hooks where you see the buttons on front and back. The bottom portion appears rolled on the bottom, but is indeed it not. It is actually sewn that way. I don't know the practical purpose of it... but it looks cool. There are, as we know, 6 pockets. These pockets have a clip that opens both ways, and what holds the clips in properly is either velcro or a magnet (I'm not entirely sure because Kishimoto's notes were pretty messy). The edges of these pockets, the edges of the arm holes, and the top portion, all have a small protrusion which is purely decoration. The swirl on the back holds no practical purpose, but is clearly a symbol. The inside of the vest is pretty unknown to me. I'd imagine that it is not insulated for warmth because the Shinobi are on the move. For moverability the cloth is probably a snug fit to the wearer and if there is armor, it should be light. The zipper also has a strange design I don't quite understand. It looks like a jacket I have, and under those flaps are hooks. I threw out this theory because the unhook easily. xd That's all I know, and a lot of it is guessing, but most of it is directly from Kishimoto references. :3
