Frequently misspelled words

Well the most mis-spelt word to me is the word "Believe." Seeing as how I am a huge Naruto fan, I notice a lot of people spell "Believe" as "belive."

Can someone settle an argument for me?

I am very convinced that the shortened version of "until" is "'til" as opposed to "till." "Till" is a farming term... At least that's what I think it is.

Hi, I'm new to the this guild. I was looking up in the dictionary about "until" it shows that is an abbreviation for the word "utility". As I read more on the words "til" or "till", it shows these wrods are used also to the word "untill"
"Til" is a conjunction word for "untill"
"Till" is used for "cultivate" or as your saying a farming term. Hope this works out for everyone. Need anymore help just feel free to PM me.

I mainly dislike the fact that people on Aol Instant Messenger, use "Dat" instead of "That" It just sounds kind of strange, like you're a baby trying to talk.

It bugs me when people say I spell things wrong because I use the British version.:

• Colour for Color
  
• Favourite for Favorite
  
• Centre for Center
  

And so on. Excuse me for being British.

How about "theater"?

Theatre.

And then they all whine and use their lame txt tlk to yell at me:

'lyke omg what teh hell r u saying color is spelled color not colour!!!1!!!1!!!one!!!!!111!!!!eleven!'

And then I bang my head on my keyboard and threaten to kill myself.

That is normally how it goes.

Other words that annoy me when they are used:

• Occurrence - Remember not only the occurrence of double double consonants in this word, but that the suffix is -ence, not -ance. No reason, just the English language keeping us on our toes
  
  
• Leisure - Yet another violator of the i-before-e rule. You can be sure of the spelling of the last syllable but not of the pronunciation.
  
  
• Existence - No word like this one spelled with an (a) is in existence. This word is a menage a quatre of one (i) with three (e)s.
  
  
• Experience - Don't experience the same problem many have with "existence" above in this word: -ence!
  
  
• A lot - Two words! Hopefully, you won't have to allot a lot of time to this problem.
