I don't know if someone said this yet because I'm too much of a lazy b*****d to read it all. But you missed the biggest diffrence of Sasuke and Naruto.

Naruto: Was rejected by the Village since birth with no one careing about him beside's the Hokage, and Iruka. Turn's out a nice charicter that doesn't go around being a bitchy whinner.

Sasuke: Lost parent's at six or seven. Everyone loved him and cared about him. Act's like a bitchy whinner.

I have a feeling that a lot of the people who bash Sasuke for being "emo" (you guys, he doesn't write crappy songs or whore himself out for hugs) like Naruto, which is gross and inexcusable.

Just to clear up everything, I'm going to give a short summary of their lives.

Five Years
Naruto: *makes cereal for himself* I'm bored. And lonely.

Sasuke: Itachiiii <333333333333333333 Can you teach me how to be a ninja?
Itachi: No.

Six Years
Naruto: *falls asleep during class* I'm bored. And lonely.

Sasuke: Daddy look, I aced everything in class!!!!!!! <33333333
Fugaku: No one cares, Sasuke.
Mikoto: People care, sweetie, we just think you're retarded.

Seven Years
Naruto: *dips Ino's ponytail in paint* DIS WHAT YOU GET FOR NOT GOIN OUT WIT ME BEETCH.

Sasuke: Hay guys, I'm back from tra-- OMG ITACHI WHAT DID YOU DO?!
Itachi: Murdered our family. You're to worthless to consider murdering, like I did to everyone else, so I'm going to leave you to suffer with rage and hatred. Maybe one day you can come and kill me plz biggrin DDDDDDDDDD

Thirteen Years
Naruto: EVER1 LUVS ME NOW I'M DA BEST NINJA EVER PS SASUKE SUX LOL

Sasuke: BUT... WHAT? NO! I NEED THAT FOR MY SELF ESTEEM!
Orochimaru: Don't listen to him, he's a f**. I still love you baby, you're awesome <333333 Ps let's kill Itachi
Sakura (in the background): Don't listen to him! I love you for shallow reasons making my opinion worthless to you!
Sasuke: Dood yeah, let's go.

Fans of the show: Sasuke sux! Anyone with a brain can see his life was better than Naruto's! He's so emo for wanting revenge on his brother, who murdered his entire family. There's obviously so much more pain in not seeing that happen! >(

Wanting revenge does not make someone emo, it's how he acted that made him annoying anyone can get strong from running off the the Orochi and getting their own copy of the excaliber of the Japanese mythology, it's obvious in anime, and manga it's friendship that makes people really strong.(( Witch is really cliched.))

Now that we know Naruto is just like Sasuke (Thanks new chapter!), people can stop saying Naruto's different. I mean, they said it. THEY SAID IT RIGHT THURR.

I don't bash Sasuke because I actually hate him that much. I just like to break his fangirl's hearts. Sasuke is too stylish for me to hate. I just don't like the first idea of him leaving, but your point is very reasonable. Besides. Everyone has their choices.

But I like watching fangirl's hearts shatter when I break them and bash Sasuke to the floor. >D

they do have very similar personalities, but each chooses to handle it differently.

Naruto embraces his bond and friends and looks constantly to improve, but not at the expense of his friend and not at any cost or by any means necessary.

Sasuke too seeks to become stronger continually, yet he holds no boundaries to which he stays within in that quest. Instead of stay with those around them he sees them only as hindrances to his own advancements, and cast them aside as soon as someone comes along with an offer of power.

In short, Sasuke is a d**k, and Naruto is not, even if he is an idiot.

And really, I'm not that big of fan of Naruto, sometimes I find him to dumb or annoying, but I least I know he would protect his friends as well as he would himself. I know that when it boils down to it, Sasuke will always show his true, selfish colors and only care for himself and his goals and wellfare.

So let's recap:

Naruto = a at times dim witted, but essential good person

Sasuke = a self advancement at all costs a*****e.

Being serious for a moment here, yes, mindless Sasuke bashing and blind foaming-at-the-mouth hatred for his character sucks. Fact is, that sort of thing sucks for any character.

But he is fun to mock.

Of course, I watch and read things for the express purpose of mocking them (hence my love of bad Kung Fu movies, awful fanfic, and collection of Highlander DVDs) so my oppinion might just be a bit biassed.

Am I the only one who thinks that Sasuke bashing is kind of lame? I can understand people not liking his character, but most of the people who profess to be soooo annoyed by him are usually diehard fans of Naruto. But let's look at the facts for a moment, shall we?

1. Naruto has a dream to become Hokage. He refuses to let anyone get in the way of this dream. If people try, he stops them with force. Sasuke has a dream to avenge his dead family. He refuses to let anyone get in the way of this dream. If people try, he stops them with force.

2. When something bad happens to Naruto, he feels useless and weak and vows to get stronger! When something bad happens to Sasuke, he feels useless and weak and vows to get stronger!

3. Sasuke considers killing Naruto but can't because of his conscience, which makes him EVIL. Naruto states repeatedly that he'll break Sasuke's bones and bring him back mutilated, which makes Naruto awesome and dedicated.

4. Sasuke knocks Sakura out when she threatens to call guards to stop him from escaping, and he's branded evil and callous and undeserving of anyone's love. Naruto seriously hurts Sakura while in Kyuubi mode, and no one cares. He's still a woobie.

5. Sasuke has to choose between a sexy older man with power, talent, and an incredible tongue, and a loud, annoying twelve year old retard who refuses to ever leave him alone or stop screaming in his ear. He picks Orochimaru. Great choice, or greatest choice?

Anyway. I think we can see who the real genius is here. Hint: it's not Naruto.

I don't really like Sasuke to begin with but this defianately proves hes a better character then Naruto. I'm still all for Orochimaru-sama. And Kakashi-sama
