WOW..im sry but grow up!!! when actors get older they want to do something they wouldnt normally do!! and i give him props! and no its no Porn!! he on stage for like 3 mins acting like hes making love to some girl...im sry but thats apart of life!! Personally I don't see what's wrong with him being in that play! For those of you who think its not good for the children read this:

NO REAL PARENT WOULD ALLOW THEIR CHILD TO SEE THAT PLAY UNLESS THEY WERE MATURE ENOUGH TO HANDLE IT!


and also, You can't expect him to always be Harry Potter.

If you were watching a movie, and some actress who has children was playing a nun, would you sit there and go "OMG SHE'S HAD SEX BEFORE!!!!!!!!!!!" ?
I doubt it. You aren't supposed to think of the actor/actress when watching a movie, you are supposed to see that person as the character they are meant to portray, If you re-watch the fourth movie are you going to look at Hermione in the yule ball gown and say "Why didn't she wear that on the red carpet?" Once again, I doubt it

I think it's great that Daniel Radcliffe is doing something completely out of the ordinary. It will give him a broader base as an actor, which is good; he won't be typecast as so many other actors have been.

And for those of you who are solely concerned with the ick factor and how it will affect young HP fans, I would point out that JK Rowling has already established an incest factor within the HP universe. stare

I think he's so overconcerned about tightcasting that he'll take basically every other chance he can get to shake off his "OMG IT'S HARRY POTTER" reputation. Unfortunately, this results in a new, less admirable tightcast. Also, it is called Equus. He doesn't make love to horses. That is long over, and it was a play in Britain, not a movie. It's about a boy who goes to a psychyatrist because he blinded six horses with a spike. It has one nude scene and it sounds rather stupid, but it's long over now. Old news!

Wow...I can't believe you are so upset that he's in a play where he's naked. Can you say SHELTERED? You did realize that he was eventually going to have to do a movie or show that wasn't something for children, didn't you? It really makes me mad when people think that just because he's naked, that it's just a porn or something like that. Nudity has been used in art of all kind from the begining of time...visit an art musuem sometime, would you? That is of course, unless it offends you. The stuff that is portayed in the play was written by someone else and probably based on something that really happened at one time. It's not like Dan said "I want to be in a play where I'm naked!" It was a story that just happened to involve some nudity. So grow up.

I know that dan has his own rights and all, but did he really have to go do this role? I mean its wonderful that he's finding something to do other than harry, that's great that he's taking the next step. But did he really have to do this role, I mean the horses thing is a little bit overwhelming. But I guess I'm just glad he's not doing what other child actors do, take their money and run wild and crazy

Well, he said himself that he wanted to be a better actor, and Eqqus helped him out a lot. But, he's BEEN a great actor, and Eqqus helped him expand his horizons.
