Your right. the sims remind me of my barbie days. i used to play with them like they were me. lol. now i jus make sims. i still have all the holiday barbies from about 2000 to 2006. i plan to sell them in some amount of years. i love the sims more tho!

Well, with me I was sorta a semi barbie fan. I had almost every barbie you could think about, but what I was really addicted to was the accesories. I had the barbie mansion, car, picnic set, clothes for everyone in "high fashion" styles...and that's pretty much how my sims are. All my sims are spoiled, they have huge four to five story houses, tones of lovers and kids, along with some extra "walk around" cash. Nice and laid back jobs...adorable outfits, hair styles, hair stylists...yup...

I used to play with Barbies when I was younger. Then they got boring and I just stopped playing. I still have them, though. Most of them are chewed up by my dog. xd

I only played Barbies for the clothes. I loved their clothes! But, now, I prefer real clothes I can make!

i played barbies untill grade 7... and yah, sims is alot like barbies (although by the time i was 10, barbie was gunning down evil monarchs as tommy and kelly were heald hostage and tortured. Which is another story for another day.)

I'm not sure you'll get too many blokes agreeing with you. You wouldn't catch me dead near a Barbie but you may find me cuddling my Sims CDs.

Girls didn't mind, or care, but it was a big deal with boys.


I agree that sims is somewhat similar, but I think sims is so much better.
