Ah. Actually I would probably say X if I played it but sadly I haven't..since out of the many friends that I have that played FF, a lot say X or VII are great. For me...hm...VII, VIII and IX are probably my favorites..oh and maybe FF Tactics..

I've played the GBA remakes of I,II, and IV. I've also played X and X-2.

I've played a little of VII, and some of XII. I've also got Tactics Advance.

My favourite is XII. Followed by X.

@ Anti Arbiter: Yeah, I remembered playing one of the old FF games (I,II, IV) but I don't remember which one. But I think for XII, it's a bit different since they didn't use the people who really made the rest of the FF games..or so my friend told me.

Thats right. One of those was Nobuo Nuematsu. He did the music (EDIT - For the older games). You can tell he wasn't involved - the music, by comparison, SUCKS.

The battle system is awesome, though.

The music was a little bland, but it could have been worst. The storyline stinks so far but the battle system... is epic man! They did a great job leaping into the next-gen final fantasy. I hope they do go back and do a turn based and an ATB battle system once in a while though.
