Have you read The Giver by Lois Lowery? It's not happy but it's good and makes you really think.

I just finished Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret. It was a pity read that turned out well. In fourth grade my teacher made me read it, so turned the page every couple minutes and then a week later told him I did. So when I saw it at the Wal-Mart on sale, I bought it so I could actually say I've read it. It's funny. And I felt extremely smart because it's for little kids so I read it real fast.

Quiver by Stephanie Spinner is good. It's a short read, about 170 pages, I read it in a day. I still need to get her other book Quicksilver, but since I donated to Gaia today, I don't have any money. ;__;

Wow... Why didn't I see this thread sooner? o_O;

One of my most favorite books has to be from Orson Scott Card. Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow is an interesting read. whee I'm not much into reading Sci Fi as I am into Fantasy but I like these two books.

For my fellow Star Trek buddies, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine -- Unity by S. D. Perry is one of the best novels I've read to date. 3nodding heart

Because you aren't cool like the rest of us... I mean I've ALWAYS known about it *cough cough*

Right... Well... Heh... *cries*

The Myth Books by Robert Asprin are a decent read.

And the Ravenscliff Books by Geoffrey Huntington are kind of fun. (Horror/Fantasy)

Well at least you are at the top of these things. xd

I just finished reading The Phantom of the Opera, by Gaston Leroux. The movie is very different compared to the book that it is based off of but it does have the same basic plot.

Which is ironic, because all things considered, I hate being on top... of these things.
