Lekonua Virety Does anyone else dislike the phrase "more better"? I shudder as if nails are being driven into my brain when I hear people say that. I feel like slapping people who say it Purposly never mind on accident. Some epople actually think it is a correct phrase, I cry when those people start to argue with me. It's just, wrong. I say it on purpose sometimes as a reference to Jack Sparrow. "No! Much more better! It is a drawring of a key." smile Captain Jack Sparrow.

I work for our High School newspaper, and when I hear one of our seniors use that phrase, I look up from whatever I was just doing and this sarcastic-but-annoyed look just comes across my face. I can't stand illiterate people... stare

I can honestly say I never catch that particular faux pas, oddly enough.
Then again, I'm subjected on a regular basis to the mysterious verb "tooken".

I hate that as well. And I love correcting people when they say it. "Omg, but i'm like, more better than you." bahahah. I tell them to shut up. There are alot of ignorant people out there. -sigh- It's rather depressing. Indeed.

NOT...MORE...BETTER!
Every time I hear that, online or off, I have a tendency to annoy the person who said that about it.

Two words to make you cringe:
"Mo betta."
scream
As in: "Dats mo betta dan da HOOD oh mah..." etc. I've heard this phrase uttered before, and unfortunately, committed it to memory. It haunts my nightmares.

Hmmm... guess I'm lucky to say I have never heard anyone use "more better..." in a sentence before. However, I've heard people say " I'm more faster or I'm the most fastest...", and so on... If they are close to me, I'll correct them but if they aren't, well... I just sorta brush it off. What can you do, really. lmao

It amuses me, yet makes me cringe. xD;; Like saying, "Better-er."
Oh, god.
The redundancy kills.
