Last names for Sims?

If I can't think of one I just look in the phonebook until I find one I like.

That's a really good idea. I sometimes use last name from celebs, or ones from movies. Or i just sit there and wait for one to pop in my head. like one is the Okalani family, which is part of this little girl I babysit's first name. It's hawaiian and sounds really pretty. mrgreen

i once look at my sandwich (cheese one) and i named my fmaily Swiss x3 though my cheese was not Swiss it was tasty cheese but how funny would it be to name a family the TASTY family

Sometimes I look around the room for ideas. Which is how I came up with the Dell, Blanket, Speaker, Map, Doggie, and Lighthaus (I spelt it that way on purpose) families.

Lol I couldn't think of anything so I just had Fruitbowl and made the Sims Banana and Coconut. Their daughter is going to change her name anyway when she marries, I downloaded a thing where you can choose whose surname to keep. Here for anyone interested:

I don't think I have any sims that have "unique names", other than the Goth family.

I just look around my room when I need a last name. That's how I got "Rope" and "Flashlight" and "Tabletops". xD

I made a a family's last name tree, and all the peoples first names were fruit or a certain type of tree.
