Opinions are good.
Such as mine, as my own.

I must explain.
I am one of those who think outside, "The Box".
One who thinks above average..
Sadly though, I only surpass the average at philosophy.
Everything else, I'm pretty much just dumb at.
Math, science, history, you name it..
I dunno what profession I will take, aside from being a priest,
with this gift/burden.

So, sorry..

Now, imagine you are looking at a gigantic painting.
Your face, right on it..
Nose, forhead litarally pushing onto it.
And you're trying to figure out what the painting looks like by doing so.
Trying to look closer and closer at the painting.

That's basically what you guys are doing with philosphy.
Well, from my perspective at the least, because all of this is second nature to me.
Therefore, my frustration.

Again, sorry.

But then, I have come accross, whom I call, "The Chosen Few".
Who actually understand, "guided", then everything else just falls into place.
The whole philosophy...

I've found that, philosphy is "one".
They all sort of fit together as one.
Such as this, which I am trying to teach.
This is mearely a part of the whole.

Once you figure one thing out,
you'll find that it relates to "this", and "this" relates to "that".
Like one huge gigantic puzzle.
Like a thread, in a cloth.
Like a grain of rice, in a sack of rice.
But, it is such a huge thought it would take years for the "average" to figure out.

I've often used a similar metaphor to that, except with a TV screen or a computer monitor or a mosaic, so that you have individual little pieces you can see right there, but not what they all make working together. 3nodding

Anyway, it is true philosophy encompasses a way to view all of well, "life, the universe, and everything." You can have one all-encompassing philosophy wich covers how to see and treat all the little specifics from there, but again, sometimes when somebody is asking how many square feet are in their floor so they know how much tile will be needed to cover it, it's a bit unnecesary to go and start trying to teach them all of geometry. Knowing all of geometry is great and useful and could help them not need to ask others questions on the subject again later, but for now that's not what they were asking about or are interested in and as long as that is the case it may just be wasting their time and your time trying to approach so much more then what they were interested in. wink Save the big geometry lesson attempts until that is what is being asked for or else you can not answer the question asked or adress the subject being approached without that. At that time, then indeed, have at it. 3nodding

exclaim
What fuels wrong intentions:
-Pride
-Envy
-Gluttony
-Lust
-Anger
-Greed
-Sloth

so, supposing you posted this to get GG, would this be a greedy motive, and hence a mistake?
or, more likely, suppose you posted it out of pride for your earlier statement, or your personal beliefs.
