Well, I was thinking, they did EVERYTHING in .hack, now is the time of the multi-player games of .hack!

I sent a e-mail to CC Corp., Bandi Namco, Altimit Crop. and anything else that I could think of thats related to .hack franchise.

I got a reply back from CC Corp. saying " We never thought of that, we'll think about it and thanks for your idea"!

So possibly they might make a Multi-Player game of .hack!!!

GO ME!!!

They never thought of .hack multiplayer? When the whole damn thing is based on a simulation of an MMORpg? What are they, retarded?

Agreed, hard to believe they haven't thought of it, but it would be awesome.

I'm pretty sure they've already started making it, I think it was called .Hack//Fragment. It supposed to be pretty cool, sadly, I don't know what system it's for...

I heard rumours of a .hack MMOG last year. The idea has been going around for a while now. But a think a .Hack MMOG will struggle. I doubt there are enough people willing to pay about $15 a month to play it. I would gladly stop playing CoX and use the money to play a .hack MMOG but there are too many MMOs coming out that i want to play. Its becoming a hard market to compete in considering the cost of servers. Maybe if they pass the project on to an company that specialises in MMOs such as SOE.

I forgot what i was talking about... sweatdrop

i doubt they didnt think of a multiplayer, or anyone emailing them about a multiplayer game... they probably want you to experience the game as u, not to wait for afriend... it would b col, but if they made a multiplayer game they would need to splitscreen the game e in order for u and the other to play themselfs, but that would b kinda bad at times.... and it would b better online multiplayer but... thats what they r working on, tahts the point of fragment(which in the books is the Beta version) and i heard Fragment is offline now... see i knew it was just a beta version, so ya.... dont ge me wrong, i do think multiplayer dothack would b pretty dam freaky sweet but... the whole screen would need to b split in order for both players to enjoy for themselfs, and u all know not everyone is rich enough to have 2 TVs in the same room hook up to one ps2
(would b kinda fun just to pk my own friend for the heck of it, jkjk sweatdrop )

o and for those who dont know, .Hack//Fragment came only out in japan for PS2, not in america.... its just like a beta version as in the books mention

I think they are refering to an MMO style .hack. .hack is about an MMO so it would make sense. And in MMOs i've personally never heard of split screen but who knows what could happen.

I think they would make the .hack multiplayer game like ragnarök and all the other online MMO's
because you have to do things which are nearly same like in an mix of ro perfect world and second life and so on ..
so i think it make sense if it get an online game because its in the series too .

But in theory it will also cost monthly so remember that when you talk about getting it. Some people aren't willing to pay over $10 every month to play a game. Unless they do what LOTRO did and allow you to pay $100 for lifetime subscription.

But i think it will go like every online game ... after a few month they would be the first p server and when they would be enough the police wont look anymore against it ... so was it with ro and with some other games too ...
and there are enough mmo's which are similar to ro but free so why not .hack?
PostPosted: Sun Jun 24, 2007 9:06 am
The difference between MMOs that you pay for and the ones that are free are that the free ones are repetive, lack content and generally worse. I've played plenty of MMO's and i know some monthly fee ones do get repetive such as CoX and MO but there are ones that are alot better such as SWG, EQ2, UO, LOTRO and WoW. When compared with free games such as GW and AL they are alot better.

The question is do you want a really awesome game that truely emulates the .hack experience or do you want a rushed poor game full of instances to help control lag and lacking originality.

In all honesty if the .hack MMO was free i will be less likely to try it out and if I do then i doubt I will play it for a long time.

I know some free MMO's which are real good in the quality, the only problem is they are Chines and not ready translated to english .. so i think just the western programmer are to silly or to avaricious to programm a good free MMO.

I think Korean Servers are cheaper to host because most Western MMOs cost money to pay for servers yet in Korea there are many new MMO and even private servers. Then again MMO is a big business in Eastern Countries now.

umm i don't think it is going to be like fragment if they release a multiplayer .hack game it would be more like some simulation of some online games where u can have two people using one councle but still not like an mmorpg

That is a possibility but its more likely to be an MMO. For starters merely allowing mulitplayer onto a game wouldn't be such a huge thing. Its quite normal these days to see games come out with multiplayer capabilities. Especially with the new online features of the 360 and possibly the PS3 (have not played it yet). When something like a MMO goes into development it creates a much larger storm. See Firefly MMO/ WOD MMO for example. Such WoW MMOs have become the new big game market. With countries like Korea where MMOs are a huge big time business (exaggeration) more game companies are moving onto MMOs e.g Blizzard/Sony (Yes i'm aware Sony have been in the MMO market for ages). It would make sense that an Anime based on a MMO would end it being made into one.

Plus MMOs are so kewl!! lol
