Lol.
If you think about it, rendering is tracing the outside of an image.

Vectoring is tracing the outside lines, inside lines, and then coloring it.

Oh, it a long process. But is it relatively easy? I would like to try but.. the learning curve may be high?

It isn't that hard, I guess.
But then again, I'm not really good at it, so I can't really say that. But, as far as I've gotten in skill, it's more perseverance and attention to detail. As you progress in skill though, I think you'll have to be more creative as you start adding your own details to make up for the lack of detail in smaller... things [I wouldn't know, but this seems to be the case].
Finding a good tutorial helps as well, as it'll tell you how to start off.

I found a nice tutorial that explain how to do it for the GIMP. I'm going to be attempting on a vector. I'm looking at the Sojiro vector and looked at the Pochi bag one and it's amazing. You're pro.

At least, I say I am, but it'll probably last until I get bored or I finish this vector. It's of Yutaka.

And I don't render Onicept. Rendering is cutting out an image from the background. I vector, which is basically re-drawing the lines and re-coloring the image.
