What type of goth are you?

I'm a mix of a bunch of kinds of goth, so i call myself a custom goth....

That pretty much applies to me as well.
I listen to Bauhaus (they are so awesome!!!!!) and Siouxsie and the Banshees and all of that fantabulous stuff (trad goth, yes? biggrin ). I'm interested in (and have read a little bit and am reading) Edgar Allan Poe and Bram Stoker and that sort of thing, and I LOVE sci-fi/fantasy/horror (read: Neil Gaiman and China Mieville sort of thing biggrin so what's that, geek Goth? smile ). I love the night, the moon, and darkness. I find night time beautiful and elegant.
I don't dress Goth except for dark nailpolish and a pentacle pendant (I know, that's more pagan than Goth)- this has got more to do with the fact that I live in India, where you can find hardly any Goth clothing at all, and besides it's too hot to wear dark colors all the time. If it was up to me I'd dress like a trad Goth.
I consider myself a baby bat, because even though i've always liked dark things and found the darker side of life more beautiful and appealing than the obvious hackneyed mainstream stuff, I've only been aware of the fact that there are Goths in the world for a couple of years now. I know that makes me sound dumb, but that's got to do with living in India too... 90% of people haven't got the vaguest clue of what "Goth" even means.

I live in India, where you can find hardly any Goth clothing at all, and besides it's too hot to wear dark colors all the time. If it was up to me I'd dress like a trad Goth.

That sucks. in the dead of summer in the US i'm still wearing black jeans and a black tee shirt, although I wear a black sweat jacket in the winter.... my glove and wrist band are a year round thing for me.
