[EVENT] Hide and seek - Open!

Come to think of it, maybe this jungle was simply cursed. Or the cubs were just that good at hiding, because Isoba wasn't having much luck at all.

As Isoba prowled through the jungle's edge again, a faint rustling caught his ear. Whirling, he leapt in front of a striped green cub. "I don't know what you're up to, but you have everyone worried. I'll show you back to them." His voice, though not unkind, was tired rather than its usual smooth warm tone. A jungle he wouldn't have minded taking a nap and a hunt in had quickly become a place he wanted to leave behind as soon as possible. He began padding towards the last colony leopard he'd spotted, figuring the cub would follow rather than disappear again.

Shoving a rock, Shakuntala let out a frustrated roar. Where were those three little rats HIDING?! And where was this rage coming from, anyway? These cubs were bringing out parts of Shakuntala she didn't know she had. She needed to pawn these cubs off onto someone ELSE...

Sayen finally heard the frustrated roars of Shakuntala. Curious, the striped brown leopardess rose from her napping spot within the temples. As she padded through the halls, she took a moment to admire the paintings on the walls. And then she spotted one Shakuntala had made... It had been smudged by her little charges. She could only shake her head.

She finally reached the leading steps, and had to stop and stare. Looking around a moment, she went over to the earthy-colored leopardess. "Shakuntala... What's going on here...? And where are..." She spotted the pink male. "Three of the cubs?"

Shakuntala froze, eyes widening. "OH! Chieftess Sayen! Um... They're... Missing...?" She offered a sheepish grin.

The brown leopardess only raised an eyebrow, then turned and started looking. "Well, an extra pair of eyes is better than no extra eyes!" She smiled as she heard the other leopardess let out a sigh of relief.

Maya came to the river quickly enough and looked around, her brows knitting. No signs of them. Maybe they were on the other side and the river washed the scent away. Sighing, she waded into the river and headed for the other side. It wasn't even deep. The cubs could do it.

Getting to the shore, Maya climbed up and shook her pelt off, looking around for muddy paw prints. She found some, that looked about the right size for a cub and took to following them. She was really getting into territory she wasn't familiar with...

Caius continued to look about behind bushes and around rocks and even looked up a few of the lower hung branches. This search was turning up fruitless though. The leopard sighed. He was bored.  

[Fairy Snails]

Macaria was getting a bit annoyed that he wasn't having any luck, just like innocent Macaria. He was getting now where fast. His temper was rising, something he knew wouldn't help him in the long run. When he lost his temper all logic was gone in his mind. Luckily he was able to stay calm for the most part. He slashed at some grass with his paws in search of the cubs. He still didn't have any luck finding them.

'With the way you're acting you're going to scare them off.' Innocent Macaria said. This just frustrated Macaria more.

Ah! There was a dip ahead. Maybe they were hiding there. Rushing over to it, the blue leopardess frowned when she found it empty. Cursing under her breath, she sighed and kept moving forward. She was hellbent on helping the cubs be found. Even if she didn't find them herself, she could at least say she helped.

Climbing onto a hill again, her green eyes peered out frantically. Brows knitting, she shook her head. There was just no sign of them anywhere. It worried her to pieces. On the wind she heard another cub was found. A small weight was taken off her shoulders just then.

It was time to look back up the the tree. He extended his claws and started to climb back up the tree in hopes that maybe one of the cubs had gotten stuck. Yeah it was pretty silly but Caius was curious. He took a seat when he got to the branch and scanned over head.

Something moved. She turned her head and let her ears pin back. Something was close by.. Listening, Maya closed her eyes and let her brows knit. This wasn't going to end any time soon. Growling, she turned to the left and charged at the noise..

Another cub was found. Great he was losing at this game. He eyed the cub carefully. It would only be a matter of time till he would find one. If he didn't he wasn't sure what he would do. He wasn't the type to sulk. That was innocent Macaria's job.

The branch broke. Caius came tumbling down with the branch and all and landed with a ooophhhhhh. The leopard was down but not out though. He'd been sat on by an old man that knocked more wind out of him then this fall! Still it would take a moment for Caius to get back up. Instead he laid there for a moment and whimpered.

Charging into a bush, nothing was there. Frowning, she looked around, completely confused and then snorted. This was getting just as stupid as the first time. Tail flicking irritably, she walked off straight ahead of her and huffed. Things were not fun anymore. And just the worry on top of everything was making her anxious.

There was a rustle, and Shakuntala looked in time to see a cub fished out. It was the striped one! She was worried about that one being the hardest to find... Her fears were unfounded, apparently. She hurried over to collect the cub, face hard and stern. "You should be ashamed of yourself, worrying us all like that! What if you'd fallen in the river and got killed by a hippo, or stumbled on an elephant calf?!"

Sayen looked over, eyebrows up. "Indeed, that IS a serious worry!" She looked around at everyone still searching, then gave out a roar. "Another cub found! There's still two more to go!" She had to, herself, marvel... How did something as eye-popping as a white cub with rainbow spots hide so well? She wasn't surprised the pink boy had been found, and wasn't so surprised the purple wasn't found yet, but she was surprised by which girl had been found first and which was still hiding. Somewhere near by, she heard giggling and rustling. "I wonder what those two are up to..."

Also, the cubs are moving again! xd The order is Bling Bling, and then Taste the Rainbow!))
