"Well, gotta find some way to show you my gratitude for you letting me back in the team, right?" Chaos asked with a shrug before turning and beginning to walk away.
"Huh, so we've got an underground base, now, huh? You build all this yourself?" Chaos asks as he walks.

Blizzard120 "Riolu." "Rala." And off like a shot, he was running his way outside. "Well, you're no help." I said, crossing my arms as I saw Riolu rush off. I gave a sigh. "Come on..." I said. Tails, on the other hand, stayed at Cubchoo's side, arms crossed behind his head because -someone- needed to be the cool older brother. He barked a little Vulpix at Cubchoo, but to see if the Cubchoo would understand him. He hadn't lost all his instinct.

Let's go get you something to eat, alright?" I said. "You too, Tails." The Cubchoo looked back at Tails then walked forward. A bit slowly, but that was mainly out of reluctance. He was still a bit on the shy side. But he did pick up the pace, moving at his normal speed, following me outside.

And Tails brought up the rear. He didn't need to sniff out the river where fish would pass by. It was once they were there that he needed to go into detective mode. For now, he walked and enjoyed his chocolate induced buzz and the taste of fried snake on his tongue.
Some more Vulpix to Cubchoo: Did he have a preference in fish?

The Cubchoo thought for a moment. "Chaa-" It stopped for a moment. It smelled the air, at least tried to with through a fairly stuffy nose. What he could pick up, however...he smell of water. Fresh. Very fresh. It hadn't had this kind of smell grace his nose in some time. Being held captive of sorts by Cipher didn't really help matters. And where there was very fresh water...perhaps... He ran to the waters. "Well something got his attention." I said, looking back. He ran to the waters, then looked down. Seeing a distorted reflection of himself, he looked on. "Cubchaaaaa..." He spoke. Apparently he was getting a taste...for Basculin. "Um. Cubchoo?" I spoke up. "Basculin aren't native in these waters. Though there might be something that could suffice, perhaps? Maybe even better. I took out my Pokedex, trying to find something. "Would a Goldeen or a Remoraid do?" "Chaaaa...?" He wasn't even sure on that one.

For a moment, Tails narrowed his eyes. This was another of those new Pokemon. He recalled seeing something with that name in the Pokedex...and decided Goldeen would be the best substitute. "He probably doesn't know what Goldeen looks like," he said, and at the edge of the river, lowered to his haunches, hands planted in the soil. "So I'll show him, if any pass."
Like this he waited. Not even his tails stirred.

A school of fish made their way down. They distinctly looked like a bunch of Goldeen with the occasional Seaking leading the school. "Hey Tails...careful there if you plan on snatching one..."

Tails did not worry about things like this. He might have been out of fire today, but there was another kind of energy he had hadn't used up. Blue flames flickered into existence atop each of his tails, and his grin was almost suggestive. He waited until the last school of Goldeen and Seaking was passing by until he launched his assault.
Three of these wisps flew after the Seaking, and the other three homed in on three Goldeen at the rear.

With their school immediately disturbed, the fish started to scatter in a rapid pace, then a couple of floated up, namely the Seaking. Messing with the Goldeen this fox was? The Seaking jumped up and rushed for Tails, one Horn Attack after the next.

Apart from having quite a bit of Celestial chi left in him, there was another chi he accumulated in the volcano he didn't know how to release. His tails gained a sudden sheen, and with a great effort he whipped them into a ballerina frenzy. It was an Iron Tail attack he wasn't sure he could stop.

His tails gained a sudden sheen, and with a great effort he whipped them into a ballerina frenzy. It was an Iron Tail attack he wasn't sure he could stop. I stared at Tails in confusion. Wait a second, when the hell did he learn Iron Tail? The Seaking got smashed by the Iron Tail, getting batted back back into the waters. It quickly swam off, not liking where it was going with this fox. The Goldeen started to splash about in a bit of a panic.

Tails could not stop, so he tilted like an erring top so his tails dug into the ground. They did not soften, but he also knew he didn't have time to figure this out. He pulled them out, then in a staggering sprint, dove into the stream. From below, he grabbed two Goldeen by the tails and dragged them down.

I knew that couldn't have been right at all. I then jumped down after Tails. I couldn't let him drown from this.

Though his tails weighed him down to the bottom of the stream, he did not seem troubled because of it. He trudged onward, back to the edge of the stream and keeping a firm grip on the Goldeen above his head. If Blizz did not snag him up, he would continue like this until he surfaced.
Because traumatizing the survivors of dinner Pokemon has always been how he rolled.
