Downgrading would definitely be a challenge but it wasn't going to kill him. Of course like Micha there were going to be some things that he just couldn't live without. For Samuel it would be things like his computer, violin, and everyday essentials. But then there were others, he really didn't care about leaving in the mansion. Like his older gaming consoles, the pool table, and anything from his kitchen. One thing about the mansion Micha had to remember was, while it was in his name at the moment, it wasn't his to sell. It was his families' home filled with family things. For example, if they were to go up a floor, they would find Oliver's bedroom filled with Oliver's things. As well as Oliver's children's playroom, and his children's bedrooms and bathrooms. As for the penthouse, it was more of a glorified hotel room. He kept it for the sole purpose of when he needed to be in the city. But there was nothing of personal value there.
Most of what Micha saw in his bedroom were the things that he would be taking with him. His clothes, his shoes, his cologne, his twenty silk tie collection. Things that he would be using everyday and need the most. It was going to take awhile to narrow things down, but he was sure they'd get there in time. Samuel smiled as the male laughed again and seemed to agree. To him it made sense. A dining room was wasted on them as it would never be used. Samuel wasn't like his parents. He didn't entertain others and he had no plans in doing so in the future. If anyone did come over, they could all just eat in the kitchen or the living room like barbarians.
Holding on to the males, he watched him climb into his lap. Samuel nodded as he spoke. "As can I," he replied. Leaning forward, Samuel pressed a soft kiss to Micha's lips. "Now than, with that out of the way. What do you think we should do about the furniture?" Samuel didn't mind using some of Micha's furniture, assuming he had it still. And he also did not mind using his own. If they had to buy all knew stuff from Ikea, that was fine as well. Just so long as he wasn't the one putting it together.

Micha wasn’t asking Samuel to give up everything. If he wanted to he could bring the whole damn mansion with them. He didn’t care, he just wanted a place to call their own. Micha knew Samuel had plenty of things he would need, he was not about to narrow things down for him. He would let Samuel pick and choose things as he needed them. Micha knew he had plenty of things he could not live without, yet he didn’t know what all he would need. He would have to go back through his storage unit, after all he hadn’t been through his things since the day he put them in there a year ago after he got back from Paris.
When it came to the idea of having a house with a kitchen, he wasn’t expecting much. After all it wasn’t as if they had many meals in the kitchen, most of them were usually take out. Micha would have to learn to cut back on eating out, perhaps it would be nice to actually have meals with Samuel in their new house. He had to wonder however what he liked to eat, that he could cook for him. Micha though didn’t want to become a house wife, doing all the cooking and cleaning.
He laughed softly as Samuel spoke. Micha was glad they could agree on something else without arguing. He soon felt Samuel’s lips against his own. Micha returned the kiss, as his hands slipped over his chest. He left Samuel pull back, as he listened to him speak again. Micha shrugged lightly, ”Hmm, depends. Though I’m sure it would be more comfortable getting some furniture we both agree on..after all I don’t have much from when I left.” He spoke as he held onto Samuel not wanting to fall backwards. Micha hadn’t kept a lot of furniture, like his couch, bed, or dressers; none of those had been important to keep.

Jepsen didn’t know why he was caring for Ally. He merely couldn’t help himself. Jepsen didn’t like seeing Ally hurt, or perhaps it was merely in his nature. He cared too many, and didn't like seeing those around him hurting. Jepsen didn’t mind that Ally had cried on him, as long as he felt better. He was willing to listen to Ally vent if he needed to. Jepsen had merely been brushing off a tear, but he soon felt Ally’s lips against his own again. Ally tasted sweet, he was a little disappointed when the kiss ended. Jepsen didn’t pull him back, after all he knew it would only look back. He couldn’t take advantage of Ally when he was hurting and trying to get through breaking up with Liam.
Watching as he pulled away, Jepsen shook his head. He smiled at Ally, ”It’s quite alright.” Jepsen spoke watching as Ally stood up, dusting himself off. He took the outstretched hand as it was offered. Jepsen stood, dusting himself off as well. He listened as Ally spoke and nodded, ”Sure.” Jepsen replied, watching as Ally took off toward the bathroom.
He walked down the hallway toward the employee lounge. Jepsen made his way toward his locker, he unlocked it using his combo lock. He moved pulling off his dirty shirt and tossing it inside. Jepsen dug around for a clean shirt, pulling it on. He finished as he relocked his locker, and moved to take a seat on the couch while he waited for Ally to finish cleaning himself up.

He knew that Micha would not force him to give up anything. But he was also well aware that there were many items in the mansion that Samuel did not use, want, or need to bring into another house. If they ended up buying all new furniture he was fine with that as well. That way it would really be their home, with their style, and the things they chose together. He was curious to know what all Micha kept in his storage unit that would be coming as well. Furthermore, he wondered how it fared through the long year. He hoped that nothing happened to any of his things such as items breaking, being disturbed by the elements, or dare he say it, stolen. If Micha would allow him, when the time came, he'd like to go down to the unit with him to sort things.
Samuel didn't expect much either when it came to a kitchen. At the very least, he would like the appliances to be a bit picky about his appliances. Perhaps a more modern style stove and fridge similar to what he already owned. But as for features like marble counters and an oversized island, he could probably forget about that. Most homes, unless in nicer areas, didn't come with such things. He also was aware that he would need to cut back on his own eating out and start pulling his weight in the kitchen. Once or twice was nice, but he couldn't expect Micha to make him food everyday for the next sixty years. Micha wasn't to be his housewife and he didn't want him to be. He was grown up enough to do a little house work.
Samuel felt the male kiss him back and his hands move against his chest. Pulling back, he spoke again and watched as Micha shrugged. He nodded in agreement. "I think getting our own stuff would be easier. It'd definitely be less stuff to haul on a moving truck. Plus.....be honest with me. Do you even like my furniture? Or what furniture style do you prefer?" Samuel was really glad they were taking the time to talk about this. It seemed the more they talked out about, the more questions he hadn't even realized he had. A house was so simple yet complex. There were styles to choose, wall colors to discuss. Did Micha want wood floors? Tile? Carpet? Shag rug? The options were endless.

Alaine tried to smile as the male let him go. He watched down the empty hallway and into the single bathroom. Flipping on the light switch, he closed the door behind him and locked it. He then turned to the mirror. Just as he thought, he was an absolute mess. His hair was limp and frizzy, his eyes were red, his cheeks splotchy, and his nose was redder than Rudolph's after some Christmas schnapps. Closing his eyes for a moment, he recalled what it felt like to kiss Jepsen just now. His lips were soft, sweet even with just a hint of tobacco. Not like Liam who sometimes tasted like peppermint and Marlboro's. Opening his eyes, Alaine pulled his hair back with one hand and pulled it into the high bun with the other. Turning on the water, he splashed some cool water on his face. Pumping a bit of soap into his palm, he spread the liquid across his fingertips and across his face. He did't care that this particular soap wasn't meant for that purpose. His face felt gross from all that crying and he wouldn't face Jepsen again otherwise. He rubbed the harsh chemical into his pour and then just as quickly washed it away. He then shut off the water and stared at his now dripping face. Cleaner, sure. But he still looked pretty miserable. Nothing he could do about that.
Wiping his face off with a rough paper towel, Alaine pulled his hair back down and soon emerged from the bathroom. He looked up and down the hallway, hoping.....or wondering rather, if he might spot Liam. He didn't want him seeing him like this. Given the time though he might not have much choice in the matter. He tried to remember when Liam went on break. Shaking his head, he thought it best not to think about it. He turned towards the other end of the hall and walked towards the lounge. Stepping inside, he immediately spotted Jepsen on the couch. The first thing he noticed was that he was wearing a different shirt. Crossing the room, Alaine took seat next to the male and was quite tempted to curl up beside him. He opted to pull up his legs instead and sat cross legged. "What time are you off tonight?" he asked quietly.

The idea of Samuel helping him go through things, didn’t bother him. He knew there was plenty of random equipment, he really didn't need. Plus there was some furniture from the studio that he would never use. Micha had just merely packed up everything without going through it the first time. He merely had been trying to sell quickly and get out of New York the first time. Now he wanted to take his time and go through his things to see what he could keep, what he needed and what he didn’t need anymore.
When it came to the kitchen, he hardly cared. Micha was only worried if things worked right, not if he had an island or a fridge with an ice maker. He didn’t plan to spend too much time in the kitchen, to actually be picky about it.
Holding onto Samuel, he relaxed in his lap. Micha listened as he spoke shrugging lightly. ”It doesn’t matter to me Samuel...I mean it’s not like I have a whole lot of furniture just basic things...All I need really is a bed to sleep in and a desk to do my work at, as for everything else it doesn’t matter.” He wasn’t asking for much, he merely just wanted basic things. Micha couldn’t see them getting a whole living room set, or even a bedroom set.

In the few years that he had been in New York, he had acquired a lot of things, many of it useless. Micha knew that he didn’t need all of it, after all he had packed things away in a hurry. He really only knew about a handful of things in the storage unit. Most of it he probably didn’t need or never would use again. Micha could only imagine however how much Samuel had. He knew could only guess he had a few more things than he did, and would need as well. Micha didn’t mind, he didn’t require a lot of things. Watching as Samuel laughed, he didn’t understand till he spoke. He couldn’t help but laugh as well. ”Indeed it would be, after all it’s not like we need much.” Micha spoke teasing back, as he leaned forward to kiss Samuel against the lip. He knew there would be some more discussion, when it came to actually choosing what they wanted in a house.
