So... I'm currently writing a 2 page personal narrative about being a Furry and a Therian to share with my English class.
Funny enough, my teacher brought up the idea! We had to draw an image, and then fill that image with words or phrases that describe ourselves. I drew a paw print, and my teacher asked me why. I said because I have a strong feelling and connection with canines. Later that day when we were discussing our rough draft (which was due at midnight that day), I admitted I hadn't started at all, and she said that was fine and she'd be glad to help offer some ideas for topics. I said I had a few things in mind, but I hadn't set on something yet. I was sort of planning on discussing how I came to the conclusion that I was gay....but she mentioned to me just before we split (her to her car and me towards my dorm) that it'd be interesting to write about the connection I have with canines and why I feel that way.
So far I've written a page and a half on the last four years of my life (very much shortened obviously) explaining to the best of my ability as to why I feel this way.
I doubt anybody is gonna expect this. xp

I'm worried, Siren isn't feeling well. He keeps spitting up, which is never a good sign with a mantis. I'm going to hold him off food for a while, and just make sure he drinks water every day. Other than that, there isn't much I can do. T__T

Doomie, good luck. Your life has to be harder than mine, having to pay your own way, taking care of a dog and still managing to have free time left over for whatever......but you're a strong person and nothing will stop you. Godspeed. 3nodding
Kriss, sorry to hear about Siren. Is he one of the older mantises you have? Or is he a young one? Didn't know mantises disgorged their food. Thought they ate and that was it. Could it be that Siren saw a walking stick and thought "I want to have that same thinness of body!!"? ........lame joke, sorry........*slaps himself*

Hehe, Mantis Anorexia. Now you're giving me more doodle ideas. XD Hope Siren gets better Kriss, it's always sad to see a loved pet companion/baby sick. u_u;
Anywhoot, just got up. My torrent downloads finished, so I'll have some anime to watch later, and I'm getting ready to pull the plug and pack up the 'putor. After watching the most recent episode of Hack//Roots though I realised that without the net, I won't be able to watch any new episodes when they come out D: Well, at least not for a while. Thankfully the antenna I got for the TV at least gets some basic channels. I get Just For Laughs and Sopranos. =D ...and porn in the late hours. XD (or was that TQS? Can't remember. D: )
Oh well, I should finish breakfast and get a move on if I want to finish before midnight so I can be up for work tomorrow. Take care everyone!

What a day. Walked four miles to the campus because Ryan's car broke down. *sigh*
Yesterday at Albany Game day... Lol. My Little Pony RPG. It sounds sickly cute and vomity, but it was actually a thinly disguised game of Pony Paranoia. Has anyone here played Paranoia? ..hehehe. Our DM was especially displeased with us since he was forced to run the game (it started out as a joke) so... The Computer meets Trueheart Bear. Scary as hell. We each got six pony clones, and were sent to guard the Foodvats from Gargamel. Along the way we accumulated Naughty Points by being smartasses or just because the DM didn't like us, and when we got too many we started flashing NAUGHTY on our sides and were instantly attacked and mangled by the other ponies. Also, being a mutant was grounds for manglement. It was quite insane. At one point, Butterscotch was entrapped in Snuzzle's (me)corpse's mane while Moondancer tore through through my lower body searching for the Shinies I had swallowed. Apparently they audio recorded the whole thing, and video recorded some. They took many pictures. I think they're putting it on the internet. I'll post links if they do.
It was... amusing.

Well, this morning has certainly been a fun one. First off, my mother was whining and ranting all this morning, meaning I had to get off my computer because if my mother caught me on it... let's say it wouldn't last very long. Anyway, was 'late' for a class that was cancelled (it's normally cancelled due to the fact that the teacher hates talking to 'zombies') but as I left the train station to walk to school. I was attacked.... by a blooming magpie. I heard it's beak shut by my ear as it swooped me. It only did it once, but I might have to wear the traditional magpie safety hat..... an ice cream container on my head.

Well welcome to Sheol's happy life. Nothing can ever go right, nothing. Not ever. ~Sobbing` My dad just kicked me out. His wife has been bitching at him, because her sons have been lying to her, and suddenly... She starts screaming about how she wants HER cellphone back, the phone I'm paying for. She freaking attacked me for it, and my dad just sat and watched...
He took it from me finally, and she left, and he started screaming at me next. And I said the worst thing possible. I asked him to treat me like an adult, and not his little girl. He kicked me out. The last of my family... kicked me out. I've always been such a believer in family bonds. I hold really tight to them. I think family is first and foremost. And I don't have any left.
I'm sitting on the sidewalk, trying to get a hold of my friends through myspace and emails and no one's online.. So it looks like the sheltered Sheol gets her first night on the streets. All I managed to snag was my back pack, and it had my laptop in it thank god.. But everything else is at home. I've got no way to get to work tomorrow, and I have no way to get a hold of them, so I'm gonna be fired.
God. I really wish... This is one of those days I wished I had never been born.

You can't be serious. eek That's terrible...go find a police station and ask to spend the night in the cell. It's better than nothing......you haven't broken the law, so they'll let you go and find you somewhere else to go to.......oh God, please.....be okay, Sheol.......please be okay........ cry

Oh, Sheol... I'm so sorry to hear that... *hugs her extra tightly* Guh... your dad's wife sounds like a real b***h... and your dad's being quite the a*****e. >.< Hope you find someone/somewhere to go to soon. And yeah, like Frozen said, try the police station, they should let you stay the night. And tomorrow you can continue trying to find some place... I'd suggest checking back with your dad sometime soon to see if he's calmed down. He may have been acting out of stress and not really meant it... not that it's any excuse, mind you- there was no call for just throwing you out like that. >.o But yeah...
Merf. Best of luck to you, Sheol... *snuzzles*

Man Sheol that really is bad. Is there anyone you can turn to. Seriously, just go to any friends of yours and tell them what happened. I'm sure someone will be willing to let you crash at their house for a couple of days untill you get something figured out. Also, you should be allowed to get all of your stuff in your old house. Your father and step mom have no right to take back stuff they have given you. If you have to, go to the police. Might want to just go with them because they should be able to give you the numbers of the types of people you can contact to help you get on your feet. sad
