Personality: She is a minimalist. She can go weeks with only having one meal aday and won't complain about it. She has no issue sleeping in the dirt or cold.
Lanying is a collector and guardian of Orchids. In her garden she grows a wide variety of Orchids, some tresured for their beauty and others for their flavor or scent. She's very serious about her hobby and doesn't take to other Soquili tredding upon or up rooting her precious flowers. She also specializes in making perfumes. If you go to her with an empty glass bottle and a offering for trade, she'll allow you to pick out the flowers of your choice and will create for you the perfume that you desire. She also enjoys making Orchid tea.
History: Lany's family was very small. Her parents were just common Soquili in a small herd, nothing special or out of the ordinary about them. As a foal she developed a love for flowers, Orchids in particular. She discovered the art of perfume making through a Bearwalker named Bear. At the time of their meeting, he had taken the disguise of a deformed mutant, covered in cloaks to hide his real appearance. He had been giving out lessons in perfume making, and teaching a small group of Soquili how to garden as well as other skills involving sweet smelling herbs. She made friends with the other students and their teacher, clueless of what he really was. Lanying was so busy with her new found education that she didn't realize how much weight she was gaining. She couldn't have known that her master was fattening her, as well as the other students, for a feast. Out of pure chance, Lanying had caught a glimpse of her master's true identity at a feasting, but before she could say anything about it, she fell into a drug laced sleep only to wake up in a pen with a rope tied around her neck. She escaped by shrinking down to half of her size, and tried freeing as many of her classmates as she could before leaving herself.
