 Kai walked along the crowded park ways that were filled with equalist and benders alike. It was kind of sad that both groups couldn't seem to get along that well. He noticed that there was a young woman who seemed lost and needed some help. What better then the son from a trading family to do that. He walked over to the bench she was on and tapped the woman. "Excuse me. You seem lost on the road of life. May I help you?" He asked hoping that she would let him help her.

Nat watched Zane closely and carefully as he showed her how to do the moves correctly. She watched the electricity form around his hands then watched as he shot them into the sky. She then looked at Zane again and nodded her head once. "Okay." She shays as she took in a breath to relax and let it out. The female then used her pointer and middle finger as she does the same exact thing Zane had done, every move an exact copy of his. When she managed to form lightning in her hand she forced herself to stay calm and concentrated as she shot it into the sky, only after making sure she wouldn't his something. She then looked at Zane and her eyes sparkled a little with happiness as she smiled at him.

 Feeling a tap on her shoulder, Seren looks up at the man and nod her head a bit. "Yeah I kind of am." She says in her soft voice. She was lost lke the man had said. All she could think about was her family that had grown apart. Scooting over a bit, Seren leaves open another part of the bench for the man to sit down next to her.

Kai noticed her moment and knew what it meant right away. He then moved over so he was on the other side of the bench and then sat down next to the young woman. "We all get that way sooner or later. Myself included." He told her, reminding her that she wasn't the only one that happened too. "I'm Kai Yukimori from the Northern Water Tribe. What is your name?" He asked introducing himself and left his hand out to shake the young woman's. He didn't mention that he was a probender just yet. He didn't want anymore people remembering who he was then becoming overly affectionate fans of his.

Zane Tsuzuka Zane smiled, as he saw Nat accomplish lightning bending. He clapped for her, with a broader smile on his face. He was proud of her. 'Hey maybe if the factory doesn't work out I could become a teacher' He thought, picturing himself in a suit everyday, shaking his head. He was never one for suits. "Awesome job Natz!" He yelled as he scooped her into his arms and spun her around excitedly.

Nat looked over at Zane and smiled as she gave him a small bow and giggled. She then looked at him and gave another giggle as he picked her up and spun her around. "I wouldn't of been able to do it if you hadn't taught me." She says as she kissed him softly once then wrapped her arms around him and hugged him tightly. It was true, she never would of mastered Lightning bending if he hadn't showed her what to do.

Seren could only nod to what he said about the way that people felt. When he said his name Seren was thinking that she had heard his name before somewhere, but she couldn't help but smile when she heard he as from the Northern Water Tribe. "I'm Seren Meinir from the Southern Water Tribe.Its really nice to meet you Kai." She said as she tok his hand and shook it. Thinking to herself Seren knew why she kind felt of conectionship with him, it was because he was a Waterbender like herself.

Kai grinned. It wasn't too often that he would meet someone from the Southern Water Tribe. They weren't as large in number and they had more distance then what the Northern Water Tribe had to travel. "A pleasure." He told her before dropping his hand to his side. "What brings you all the way to Republic City? Where you born here." The man asked. Kai looked more foreign born then most people and he was clearing from the Northern Water tribe unlike most people who probably were not.

"Well my mother and father wanted me, my brother Sen, and sister Kiara to experience life outside the Southern Water Tribe. And no I wasn't born here in Republic City." Seren says with a small smile thinking back when she first arrived here in Republic City with her parents and siblings. "What about you. What brought you here to Republic City?" She asks before brushing her dark chocolate brown hair away from her face.

Kai could see similarities between both of them. They both had followed a similar life as children. "Most of my family are traders. My mother and her siblings came here to help with trade between the Northern Water Tribe and Republic City. I came here when I was about eight years old." He answered her then smiled. "I guess that makes us much alike then huh?" He commented about their similarities.

Seren listened as he told is story about when he came to Republic City as a child. She couldn't help but smile as well when she saw Kai smile. "Yeah I guess it does, but the only difference is that I'm from the Southern Water Tribe and your from the Northern Water Tribe." She says to him trying to point out the difference. "So you've been here longer then me by like five years." She said.

 Kai nodded in agreement. He had been in the city longer then she had. He pretty much grew up in the city and new it will along with the events that go on here and there. "You're rather pretty for a Southern Waterbender." He teased her. It wasn't really true, but it didn't mean that he couldn't tease her for it none the less.

Hearing him say that she was pretty, Seren could not help but have her tan colored cheeks turn a rosey color. She knew that he was teasing her a bit but she just couldn't help but feel special. "So what do you do Kai, as a job I mean." She said.

Kai wasn't sure how to answer that. He had had so many different jobs. He did probending, research, trader, and even trainer. He looked at the woman. "Right now I'm doing some research and training two earthbenders to make their debut in probending." He answered her honestly. "And you." He asked wanting to know what she did.
