Anya grimaced as she went to Oscar, picking up his detached arm. Oscar winced in the pain as he gazed up at Anya, his eyes wide as he felt the mortal pain he had almost forgotten, "This was your...idea and i'm the one...in pieces."
"I'm not out of the blue just yet," Anya took off Oscar's shirt, "Now be quiet, I don't have a lot of time to attach your arm."
It was a quick, almost shallow success. She had reattached the nerve endings as best she could and sewed the skin together. Troy approached her with his dislocated jaw which Anya promptly smacked in place. Anya stood, helping Oscar stand, "Thankfully he's not dead, but the point will be crossed. Under this room and any where Liam goes, he's under a constant threat. Not only that.."
Oscar dulled his gaze as he glanced towards Anya, "You're much crueler than I remembered."
"Tell me i'm cruel when you see that mutt won't leave as easily as before," Anya dusted herself off, "Oscar, we'll be staying in your castle."
Liam's subconscious mind was active as he was on the verge of death. He could hear Emma's voice and it broke his heart knowing he may or may not see his child. It made him wonder how he was in a comatose state to begin with. Anya? He had seen the look in the vampiress' eyes the moment he had blacked out from blood loss. Everything else was a complete blur. For now, he hoped he wouldn't die.

Anya felt true terror of losing Conrad. She knew her rash decision would bring bad outcomes, but she didn't mean it in cold spirit. Oscar looked to her, "You don't have to do this. We can run away and not be seen again."
"We can't just run anymore," Anya sighed as she stood, "I'm going to go. Whatever happens after I leave will happen. I didn't attack Liam not knowing this would happen."
"They won't believe you," Oscar snarled, "They'll only say that you're a liar and blame that we wanted him dead to begin with! How can you go in there and expect that you'll come out alive!? You know how they are! Your husband will side with his daughter no matter what you say or do, and she'll never trust you again. Just face it, it's all over."
"I can't give up just yet," Anya spoke calmly as she went to the front door, "As I said, what happens will happen. My actions were planned and I only meant to keep the mutt in line. Troy, you will come with me."
"If Conrad disbands you i'm not your loyal servant any longer," Troy scoffed as he followed Anya, leaving Oscar in his castle with his courtiers watching from the distance.
Oscar growled to himself. He didn't trust anyone over there with Anya's life. Emma was basically a psychopath and her father had a Opheliac relationship with her in a nutshell.
Anya entered Conrad's castle, following the scent until she entered the room where she stood with a calm demeanor. She was worried about the others understanding her side of the actions, but she understood if they didn't. It was a harsh lesson for Liam while the others saw it a brutal attack on the wolf.

Anya restrained herself, but as soon as she was in Conrad's room and locked, she burst into tears. She couldn't just abandon Oscar, but she didn't want to anger Conrad any longer. Rage filled her. The rage she had pent up from being obedient over the centuries and when she finally called the order for once, she was punished. The rage boiled over quickly however. Anya went to the windowsill and pulled her knees to her chest. Her heart ached for Conrad. She knew this would upset him. Anya looked at the ring on her finger, he hadn't stated their marriage was over, but...she didn't know what to expect. If Conrad did..she looked to Oscar's castle, she'd run one more time if Conrad dismissed her completely.
Oscar couldn't wait. He wanted to go see what was going on, but knew better. If he were to take one step onto Conrad's territory, he would be torn to pieces. He feared for Anya's life. His sired sister was in danger being over there. Oscar turned to his courtiers, "Man the ground here. We leave back to our station in Germany once I hear how Queen Anya is fairing with her husband's ill temper."
"Yes sir," the courtiers agreed before dispersing.
He turned to the castle. If Conrad laid a single finger on Anya in anger...Oscar growled beneath his breath. He'd kill the b*****d himself.
Troy kept his gaze to the ground. At least Anya had the luck of being Conrad's wife while he was just another person in the castle. He didn't answer at all at first. Was this how he was going to die? The only reason he attacked was because Oscar threatened Anya's wrath upon him. He was just as old as Anya, but the b***h had him beat by whatever she harbored. Troy then spoke carefully and politely, "It was only by force that I did what I did. I ask for forgiveness and beg that I be spared, something like this will never happen again!"

"Understood, my king," Troy bowed low before following the direct orders to leave.
He walked passed Anya's room. Though at first he had heard her crying, it was silent down the hallway. Unearthly quiet. It disturbed him. Troy didn't hesitate as he went straight to his chambers and locked himself in.
Anya crossed her arms as she stood gazing out the window. Trapped in her own home to become the filial wife she had dreamed of being before, but why was she rebelling now? She gazed up at the now waxing moon trying to make sense of the situation. Marrying Conrad made her into his family, but Oscar was still her family as well.
'He's angry, but at the wrong person,' Anya thought to herself, 'I'm the one who came up with the idea and ordered the decision. Oscar only agreed because of me. I guess that would only further my punishment. Please, Oscar, go back to your Europe throne.'
Oscar couldn't take it as he paced his own throne room. He had to leave. His people weren't safe nearby.
'Forgive me, Anya, but I leave without you for now. I swear I'll be back,' Oscar thought as he glared at the window.
He ordered his courtiers to start leaving swiftly before the sun came up. Oscar was the last to leave, glancing back at Conrad's castle one last time before leaving over the hills with his court.

Oscar had his men flee back, taking jets, planes, yachts, swimming, anything to get back to their proper continent. He had to get as far as he could to regroup. As the leader, Oscar was the first to land back in his original country and went straight to business. Conrad may have years on him, but Oscar had the years of training since his own creation. This was nothing new to him. Oscar set up the defensive line as well as placing his special-ops across the borders of his massive territory to keep an eye out. If this was going to turn into war, he'd make sure Conrad would see that blood would be spilled.
"We will not make the first move, do I make myself clear?" Oscar stated as he looked over his own map, "When their attack is made, then we will only strike down and capture. Do not kill anyone. Anyone captured will be held captive indefinitely."
Anya didn't want to see Emma. She kept silent. Of course Emma wouldn't understand a thing of why she gave the order to attack her husband. All she would see was that Anya wanted Liam dead, but she didn't see that she had pulled the other two away, she wouldn't see that she kept the mutt alive to see the birth of his child, she wouldn't see that she had planned this since he wouldn't listen to her when she tried to make him see reason.
No, Anya didn't want to hear her step-daughter right now. There was far too much anger and hurt in the air. Right now all Anya wanted was to be left in silence.
