Morning came and went. By time he woke it was a little past eleven. Jepsen rolled over in his bed, to check his phone. He grabbed it checking to make sure he didn’t have any missed calls or messages. Seeing none, he set his phone back down. Jepsen pushed back his covers, heading toward the bathroom to take care of his morning business. After he finished in the bathroom, Jepsen returned to his bedroom to get dressed. He couldn’t lazy around in his boxers all day, even though he wasn’t working tonight.

Getting dressed, he pulled on a pair of jeans and a graphic t-shirt. Jepsen went back into the bathroom to brush his teeth. He didn’t bother too much with his hair, as it usually did whatever it wanted. Jepsen went back into his bedroom to grab a pair of socks and pull them off. He grabbed his phone stuffing it into his pocket. Jepsen didn’t have a lot of plans today, perhaps a little grocery shopping but nothing major. He was in need of food however since he hadn’t finished his dinner from last night before leaving after Ally left.

Jepsen was a little curious how Ally was doing but he didn’t have his number. He went into the living room grabbing his shoes and pulling them off. After he was ready to go, he grabbed his wallet and keys from the side table. Jepsen left his apartment locking the door behind him, as he headed to his car. The first thing he did need, however was coffee to start his day.

It felt like hours before he was able to fall asleep. He tossed, turned, fluffed his pillows, and tried some deep breathing. He frowned into his pillow as he tried his best to calm down enough to sleep. It wasn't working. Screaming in frustration, he rolled on to his stomach, throwing a pillow over his head, and closing his eyes. When sleep did finally find him, he was still. He dreamt of nothing, and awoke hours later feeling nothing. Turning his head to the side, he was sad to see empty spot beside him. He soon turned away from it. The clock on his night stand told him it was already past two in the afternoon. It was no wonder he was feeling this way. He couldn't remember the last time he had slept so late. It had been at least a couple of years.

Alaine laid there for a few minutes just staring at the ceiling. He wondered if he would have any messages. Probably not. After their last phone call it seemed as though things were really over between them. There would be no more late night dinners, no more sleepovers, no making out, no hanging out in the office, nothing. It was all over. As far Liam was concerned it seemed as though their relationship was about as done as his future in having a career at the club.

Pushing back his covers, he tossed his leg over the side of the bed. His clothes were just as he left them on the floor. Rising, he kicked the clothes out of his way as he moved towards the adjacent bathroom. He avoided his appearance as he went about his routine. Pushing off his boxers, he twisted the knobs of the shower and stepped into the spray without waiting for the water to warm up. Pushing back his hair, he went through the motions of washing and rinsing. When he finished, he just stood there beneath the warm water. He didn't feel much better, but at least he wasn't crying anymore.

When he finished cleaning up some minutes later, he shut off the water and stepped out of the shower. He pulled a towel from the linen closet and dried himself off. He walked back into his bedroom and pulled out a pair of black skinny jean, an over-sized white graphic t-shirt, and underwear. He finished drying himself off and quickly dressed. He then tossed the towel into the hamper. Leaving his room, he went downstairs. Walking into the living room, he picked up his cellphone from the bookshelf. In the daylight it looked even worse. As much as he didn't want to, he was going to have to buy a new phone before work. He was also going to need to apologize again to Jepsen. But that could wait until later. Right now he needed food and caffeine.

Alaine then walked down the hall to the kitchen. In there he gathered up his wallet, keys, and pulled on his socks and shoes. Once he got some food he could figure out how to go about the rest of his day. He disarmed the alarm and unlocked the door, reset the alarm, and stepped into the garage. After locking up, he headed to his car and opened the garage door. The air rushing in was warm and the sun was bright. It was almost insulting to his mood. Slipping in to his car, he soon started it up and backed out the driveway.

He didn't mind taking responsibility for starting things. After all, it was true. He couldn't help himself. He loved Micha and always wanted him. He was ecstatic that Micha had wanted him just as much as he did. Samuel watched Micha smile as he spoke and felt him return his kiss. After accepting the males offer, he smiled back at him. Samuel happily accepted the males next kiss and released his hold on him as he soon pulled away from him. He then grabbed the comforter and moved to lay down beside Micha. Like Micha, his muscles were sore and he was more content than he had been in a long time. He happy enough to just lie here and be in one another's company. Moving a bit closer, and he laid his head on the corner of the pillow.

Jepsen’s idea of coffee didn’t not consist of an overly creamed or something that required more than just coffee and sugar. He never found the idea of starbucks to be in his preference. Jepsen was content with black coffee and sugar. He also liked his morning coffee with eggs, toast, pancakes and bacon. Jepsen wasn’t much of a cook, his idea of cooking if it would be called cooking was boiling water for noodles. Anything else beyond that was foreign to him. He had never really learned to cook, as it wasn’t something required of him.

It was early but late enough breakfast was still being served at the diner he had gone to a few hours before. Jepsen drove toward the diner, soon arriving as he parked his car in the parking lot. He got out locking the door behind him. Entering the diner, it was a little busy now that everyone was out and about. Jepsen had to wait a few minute for a booth to be cleaned.

Once it was cleaned off, he took a seat. Jepsen thanked the hostess for his menu as he started looking it over already knowing what he wanted. He grabbed the cup on the table turning it over waiting for his waitress to bring him coffee. Jepsen closed his menu as his waitress soon arrived with a pot of coffee, pouring him some. He thanked her, as he told her what he wanted to eat. Jepsen grabbed a few packets of sugar opening them and pouring them into his coffee. He grabbed his spoon stirring the sugar in. Jepsen grabbed his cup, tasting it smiling at the warmth of it, as he relaxed. He pulled his phone from his pocket as he read over the latest news while he waited for his breakfast.

There would never be a time that he wouldn’t want Samuel. Sure he could be mad at him, but he would always love and wanted to be with him. As he lay there he soon watched Samuel lie beside him. Micha shifted as he pulled the comforter back to lie beneath it as well. It was a little chill in the room now that they weren’t moving around to much. He watched as Samuel soon moved closer toward him and laid on the same pillow as him. Micha smiled at Samuel, as he moved closer. He slipped his arm around his waist. He relaxed beside Samuel, yawning a little to himself. Micha was finally content just lying here in Samuel’s arms.

The afternoon sun was blinding as he backed into the street. He took his time driving as he was in no rush to get things done. If he had his way about it, he wouldn't even go into work tonight. He was too depressed. He didn't want to think about hiring Liam's replacement and he didn't think he could face Jepsen. He'd used him in their ridiculous game only to end up feeling more alone than before. It was stupid to think anything would really come of it.

Steering his car down the street, he soon exited the gate and headed for the main roads. Alaine was no chef by any standards. He needed food. Preferably something that was a step up from McDonald's and Starbucks. As he drove, he glanced at the different chains. Most of them were well packed, and he didn't feel like waiting any longer than he had to. Then he remembered. The diner. Although he didn't eat much, a cup of coffee might be good enough. And perhaps something light to eat. He turned his car in the direction of the diner, passing the club on his way. As he passed he couldn't help but glance at at the establishment out of habit. To no surprise, there were no cars in the lot. Liam would no longer wait for him. They were over.

Pulling into the lot of the diner, there was a nice sized crowd. But it wasn't too terrible to shy him away. He parked in the first spot he came to and cut the engine. Unbuckling his seat belt, Alaine walked up to the entrance, and stepped through the door. He looked around a bit and was asked to take a seat at counter. He moved towards the end away from other people and pulled himself up on to the red leather stool. He glanced around a bit before taking a menu and glancing it over.

Samuel was happy, more content than he had been in months. They could fight and laugh, but he would always love. Coming to lay beside the male, he dragged the comforter with him and tossed it over them. It was a bit chilly in the house now that they were still. But he was too lazy to bother do something about the central unit. For now, a comforter would do. He laid his head on the pillow and smiled as Micha wrapped his arm around him. He too wrapped his arms around the male. Samuel watched the male yawn and leaned forward to press a kiss to his forehead. "Sleep if you're tired, we've a got a few hours we can kill." he said softly.

Sitting there, he looked up from his phone. Jepsen glanced around as he took note of the other patrons in the diner. His eyes roamed the room, surprised to find someone he didn’t think he would see especially so soon. He watched as Ally sat at the counter looking over his own menu. Jepsen debated seeing if Ally wanted to sit with him. He didn’t want to seem like he was bothering him. Jepsen finally found the courage as he stood up. He crossed the room heading toward the counter. Jepsen slipped on the stool beside Ally, ”Good morning Ally, I don’t mean to bother, but if you want I have a booth across the room if you want company.” He spoke not pushing it on him, but at least offering if he didn’t want to be alone.

It wasn’t that he was tired. Micha just had a lot on him mind. Some things they would talk about later, or things were for him to figure out. He felt Samuel’s arm slip around him as he lay beside him. Micha smiled, as he lay there comfortable in Samuel’s arms. He watched as Samuel leaned forward and kissed his forehead. Micha nodded a little at his words. Perhaps a little sleep would do him some good, after all he hadn’t really gotten a lot of good sleep lately. He found that he needed a warm body, but not just any warm body to lie with. Micha preferred Samuel sleeping beside him, to be able to sleep. He hadn’t realized how much he had missed it till he found sleep last night without tossing and turning all night. Micha shifted a little as he closed his eyes, feeling himself relax beside Samuel.

Alaine sat with his back to the rest of the diner. He paid little attention to the other chattering patrons surrounding him. Barely noticing when someone would walk behind or in front of him. The smell of fresh coffee called him more than anything. He glanced over the various items, not even noticing as someone sat down beside him. He flinched up at the sound of the familiar voice beside him. Looking to his left, he saw Jepsen sitting beside him. "Oh, hey." he said, feeling a bit awkward. Alaine had worried about meeting Jepsen. He could only imagine what he must think of him after last night. Though compared to Liam, it was probably much nicer. Turning his attention to the male, he listened as he offered him to join him. "Um, yeah sure. I mean, if you don't mind that is." Rising from his stool, he picked up his menu and waited for Jepsen to show him where he was sitting. Back at the booth, he sat across from him and set the menu on the table. He sat there feeling even more awkward, glancing around a bit hoping for a server to stop by. When no one came, he turned back to Jepsen, unsure what to say. What could he? He still didn't know him that well and he was also embarrassed from last night. He wasn't used to allowing others seeing him like that. He didn't think Jepsen was the type to tease him or pry where he wasn't needed. But he was sure at some point he might try to talk about last night. Just to see if he was okay.

Whatever was weighing on Micha's mind he was sure he would hear about it later. They didn't have to lay everything out on the table right at this very moment if the male was not ready. He didn't try prying him for more information. Instead, basking in the comfort of the males arms. After kissing his forehead, he watched the male a bit. It was fine if Micha wasn't all that tired. But considering all they had done and how early they had gotten up, he figured the male might want to rest for a bit. Like Micha, he too preferred sleeping next to him. Pillows were okay, his parents' cat took up too much space, and he never went near another man to even see if he would prefer their company. Micha was the only warm body he wanted in his bed. He continued to watch the male as he closed his eyes and soon felt him relax. Samuel held on as he too relaxed while lying there. He closed his eyes and felt himself slowly drift to sleep.

A few hours passed and Samuel awoke laying awkwardly on his stomach and his right arm tingling. His head was turned toward Micha as well as his left arm thrown across the males belly. Moving his arm out from under him, he sat up a bit and turned to glance at the clock on the night stand. It was still early evening. Plenty of time for them to get dressed and go have dinner before he went in for work. Samuel moved to lay on his side and stared at the male, taking in his features. He looked so beautiful, peaceful too. He felt as though he could stare at him like this forever. He also thought of teasing him a bit buy
decided against it. He'd let him sleep some more. Rolling on to his back, he reached towards the table and picked up his phone. Swiping his thumb across the screen, he saw three new text messages as well as a few app alerts. He quietly went through the messages, replying to their respected senders, and then swiping away any unimportant alerts. That killed all of two minutes. He glanced back at Micha, wondering how much longer he would sleep. Daring himself, he edged a bit closer to the man and raised his phone after tapping the camera icon. He angled the phone so that they were both in the shot and posed as though he were to kiss his cheek. He then took the picture and smirked at the result. They never really took many pictures together. If Micha would allow it when he was conscious he would like to change that. He didn't need a million photos, just one or two would be enough.

Jepsen didn’t mind Ally sitting with him. He was still worried about him from last night. Jepsen wasn’t offering his seat to Ally for pity, but because he was genuinely concerned about him. He shifted in the stool watching as Ally spoke. ”Not at all.” Jepsen spoke smiling at him. He stood leading his way back toward his booth. He took a seat across from Ally, as he looked him over. Jepsen had already ordered his own breakfast. He grabbed his coffee cup taking a sip. Jepsen watched as Ally seemed to look around a little. ”Sleep well?” He asked out of curiosity. Jepsen shifted in his seat as he watched Ally. He crossed his arms, leaning on the table.

Alaine felt a bit nervous about sitting with Jepsen. Unfortunately he remembered everything about last night. From that damn kiss to his constant crying. He didn't know if Jepsen was always this nice or just taking pity because he was doomed to now be known as "sad break-up guy" or something of the sort. Since he didn't want to offend, he didn't bother asking his reasoning for inviting. Instead, he took it when he was informed that it was no bother, and sat down across from him. Alaine couldn't help looking around a bit. By nature he was a bit of a people watcher. But more so, he was curious if he was likely to run into anyone else today. Preferably a certain blonde that probably wanted nothing to do with him. Still, a man could hope. At this point it was about all he could do. He doubted anything further would become of him and Liam. There was nothing left they could say and no way to fix things. He'd be better off just moving on. Turning back to the male, he soon heard him speak and gave a small shrug. "Not really." he replied honestly. "Liam called when I got home and we ended up fighting again." Alaine smiled down at his lap. He didn't know why he felt the need to tell Jepsen all that. But he didn't regret it. Somehow it was just easier to talk to him. Certainly easier talking with him than Liam. Plus, he didn't seem to care if Alaine retreated back into his head....At least not in the way it bothered Liam for whatever reason. He never understood why Liam was so concerned with what was going on up there. Half the time it was a whole lot of nothing, maybe the occasional showtune or the entire soundtrack to The Phantom of the Opera. Certainly nothing worth mentioning though. "What about you? Get home okay?" he asked curiously.

At the moment, there was many things on his mind. However he was not ready to discuss them. Micha was still learning to trust Samuel all over again. He knew it would take a while before he completely gained his ability to trust him. Micha still worried about what ifs, even though he knew Samuel would never hurt him again the possibility was still there.

Drifting off to sleep, he barely noticed as time past. Micha continued to sleep even as Samuel woke beside him. He was snuggled up beside him, as he slept. Micha soon felt the bed shift but he didn’t open his eyes. He breathed softly to not give himself away. Micha was in no hurry to get up or move. He was rather content where he was.

Beside him, he could hear Samuel moving around. Micha opened his eyes a little to see him playing with his phone. He closed his eyes again, as he lay there. Micha soon felt Samuel move closer toward him. He could only remain still and curious to what he was doing. Micha soon felt Samuel pull away for him. He opened his eyes shifting in the bed, as he rolled to sit up on his elbow. Micha looked down at Samuel, ”What are you smirking at?” He asked teasing Samuel, finally realizing what he had been doing while he was pretending to sleep.

Jepsen wasn’t worried about Ally sitting with him. He was merely offering after all he didn’t like to eat by himself, but Ally didn’t have to join him. Jepsen sipped on his coffee as he watched Ally. He knew that in the last twenty-four Ally had gone through some pretty rough breakup. Jepsen was not here to judge, especially for the kiss. He knew it meant nothing to Ally, it was just a self-harming kiss. Jepsen listened as Ally spoke of his sleeping. He wasn’t surprised to hear that Liam had called, or that it hadn’t gone well. Jepsen didn’t mind being Ally’s earpiece. He could listen to him, but he was not a counselor and couldn’t really provide much feedback. Jepsen had never really been in many relationships before. He nodded as Ally questioned him. ”I got home just fine.” Jepsen spoke smiling at Ally, though he didn’t think Ally was all that worried about him, but merely making conversation. It wasn’t long before his waitress noticed he had company in his booth and came to take Ally’s order.
