Loki watched as Tony looked at the pills and said nothing. It made Loki worry more when he took forever to say something and state that they were harmless enough at least the ones he thought he knew. He frowned when he said he didn't know what the others were but they must be good for him if Bruce had put them out. He stared at the pills in his hand and contemplated his options. When the man asked if he wanted JARVIS to call Bruce the god shrugged. Then a thought hit him, he pointed to the ceiling and then at the pills asking for JARVIS to explain the pills. He was glad Tony hadn't been able to explain some of them because Loki knew JARVIS could or would not lie to him about the pills.

Tony watched Loki and let out a slow breath. Loki didn’t trust him. It hurt. He wasn’t sure he could feel much hurt anymore, but it still hurt. “JARVIS, tell Loki what the pills are, and get Bruce down here….maybe he’ll believe him.” He said, turning so his back was to Loki, still curled up tightly under the blankets. ‘Yes sir.’ JARVIS responded. ‘There is a nutritional supplement, an anti-nausea pill, one pill to help reduce inflammation in your leg and stave off infection, and one to fight off fever. All are considered safe for consumption during pregnancy and the dosages have been adjusted for your physiology.”

A moment later Bruce was walking through the doors, looking over Loki with a faint smile. “Well, I honestly wasn’t expecting you to be away so soon……you were in pretty rough shape when we reached you.” Bruce said, coming over to check on Loki, only then seeing the IVs pulled out, frowning. “You pulled these out? That’s dangerous Loki, you could have hurt yourself. These are just to help you. You haven’t been getting everything you need in your diet recently.” He said, already moving around to put the IVs back in. “Wait…do you even understand me right now?”

Loki looked confused and strike when Tony gave his orders to JARVIS. He didn't know how the man knew he was still distrustful but he did. It wasn't like Loki wanted to distrust Tony after having not see him for such a long time but Tony had let him go. Hadn't stopped him, even pretended to show that he cared in some way. Even now Tony showed nothing and the only reasons he had given for Loki to stay were other people. Red eyes fell to the floor again as Loki listened to JARVIS and when the AI finished he took the pills without a word. He had just finished swallowing the last when bruce entered. The god was happy to see the man right up until bruce started to lecture him. When asked if he understood Loki nodded not looking up. He was steadily wringing his hands together in guilt and uncertainty. After a moment he pulled the hand of the arm the had held the is and held it out to bruce. Offering the man to put them back in if he wanted.

Bruce saw how Loki reacted to the lecture and shook his head. “I’m sorry for fussing, but I really am just trying to help. You’re in rough shape.” He said, carefully putting the IVs back in. “Thor will be down soon so we can actually talk a little….Fenrir will probably come with him.” Bruce added, pulling a chair up to the side of the bed. “Fenrir has been practicing his human form….or maybe it’s Asgardian I suppose. He’s gotten to where he can spend a few hours like that a day….though I think he might have used up that time already.” He said lightly.

Loki nodded when bruce apologized and explained that he was merely trying to help. Loki knew he was in rough shape. He couldn't keep barely anything down his magic had been being drained plus Thanos had been ravaging his mind. When the IVs were back in he let his arm fall gently to the bed. He nodded again when bruce said Thor would be down soon and they could actually talk then. Loki perked up at the mention of his son, even more so when he heard that the boy had been practicing his shifting. Red eyes glanced to tony since the last thing they had really 'talked' about was that. Loki had thought Tony would convince Fenrir that it was fine to be a wolf all the time.

Bruce followed Loki’s gaze and shook his head. “He really has done well taking care of Fenrir you know. The only time he acts almost normal is when he’s with Fenrir. Otherwise….this is more or less it.” He said, motioning to Tony. He was honestly surprised Tony hadn’t slunk off yet. Perhaps that medicine had taken a bit more out of him than Bruce had planned.

Red eyes turned back to bruce when the man told Loki that Tony had done well by Fenrir. That now the only time the man acted normal was when he was around his son. Loki felt his chest tighten at that and tears welled in his eyes. He had done so much damage even after he had left. He had thought that he would be the only one punished by the bond they shared and that by continuing to block it Tony would be fine. He had been wrong, and the way Tony seemed now was like a ghost of his former self. Loki was at the verge of tears when Thor entered the room.

Bruce frowned as Loki looked about to cry. He wanted to comfort the god, but he knew he couldn’t. At least some of the blame did rest on Loki and the god needed to see that his actions had consequences on those around him. He lived in a house of people that cared for him and worried about him. And Tony was more than just a passing fling. Loki couldn’t be so brash in his actions. Still, Bruce took Loki’s hand squeezing it gently. There was still a chance for them to work things out, given time and patience. Looking up as Thor entered, Bruce gave a small smile. Hopefully Thor would be able to help settle Loki a bit. The blond was already coming over to hug Loki, talking to him in Asgardian. Fenrir was trotting along behind Thor and bounded into Bruce’s lap when he saw Loki was away. From there, Bruce carefully put Fenrir on the bed, the pup moving up to lick at Loki’s face, whining and tail wagging.

Loki glanced up when bruce grasped his hand and squeezed it in an offer of comfort. He tred to force a smile for bruce but he couldn't do it. Thor saved him from trying to mime something to bruce by coming in and loki felt relief know g his brother would understand him. Thor still had allspeak. Loki accepted the embrace from his brother and returned it grateful to see the man. Then when Fenrir was on the bed Loki gave a cry of joy embracing the pup as his face was licked. Words spilled endlessly from his lips, telling Fenrir how much he loved him and missed him. Thor smiled gently watching the two of them. "How is he my friend?" Thor wuestioned.

Bruce smiled warmly at the scene. He didn’t need translation to know what Loki was saying to Fenrir. Looking to Thor, Bruce gave a small shrug. “He’s not as bad as he could be, but not in a good state either.” He said slowly. “The leg is healing faster than it was. I imagine Tony’s magic has something to do with that. Loki will have to be on a strict schedule of food and medicine for the next few weeks to try and get his weight up and he will be confined to bed as much as possible.” Looking Loki over, he tilted his head. “I haven’t checked on the baby yet….thought you might like to be awake for that.”

Thor frowned hearing that Loki was not as bad as he could be but not in a good state either. He nodded that Loki's healing had stepped up now that he had Tony's magic and that he would be placed a strict schedule of food and medicine. "He is very light to be carrying a child.” Thor agreed. Loki who hadn't been paying attention until that point looked up when he heard mention of his child. When bruce surmised that Loki would want to be awake for when bruce checked on the baby he nodded vigorously.

Bruce laughed softly. “Alright.” He said softly. “Give me a few minutes to set everything up. I’ve gotten much better at this since you’ve been gone….Natasha’s pregnant.” He said, standing and moving to get what he needed. He stopped to check on Tony, finding him asleep again, still curled up on the bed. Slowly setting everything up, Bruce let Loki pull his shirt up over his belly and gave Fenrir a moment to inspect it before he began to inspect Loki, hands carefully feeling over Loki’s stomach before pulling on a stethoscope. Listening for a second and moving the stethoscope around, he paused, brow creasing slightly. There was that same echoing he’d heard before. A sonogram show him what that was, so he didn’t say anything about it, instead handing the ear pieces to Loki. “Here….it’s the heartbeat.” He said with a smile.

Thor chuckled at his brother knowing he wouldn't have to translate Loki's desire to know how his child was doing. He watched the younger god as he continued to nod when bruce asked for a few minutes to set everything up. The only reason Loki stopped nodding quickly was because he was shocked by the knowledge of Natasha's pregnancy. Loki looked to Thor and the blond answered before Loki could open his mouth. "Just shortly after you disappeared." he informed. Loki nodded more somber this time and lay back as bruce returned pulling up his shirt. A soft chuckle escaped the god as his son snuffed at him. Loki let bruce examine him and grew concerned when he saw the man brow creasing. However the worries disapated when the ear pieces were handed to Loki and he heard the child's heartbeat. It was the first time he had ever heard it and didn't know there was something different. Instead the god's eyes filled with wonder and awe as he listened.

Bruce smiled warmly at the look in Loki’s eyes. It wasn’t too far off from the look in Natasha and Clint’s eyes when he’d let them hear their baby’s heartbeat. Giving Loki a moment, he finally took the stethoscope back and began to prepare Loki for an ultrasound, explaining how it worked for the god. “It might take a minute longer than normal. Finding the exact angle I need for your physiology will be a challenge.” He warned as he pressed the device to Loki’s belly. Moving it slowly and watching the screen, Bruce didn’t smile until he found the baby. Frowning, he shifted the device a little and blinked. “Um…..well your babies look healthy enough.” He said slowly.

Loki looked a bit disappointed when Bruce took the stethoscope back from him. If he had his way he would have listened to his child's heart beat for hours. However the promise of seeing his child had him paying attention to everything Bruce said. He shivered with the cold gel that was placed on his belly to help the device but watched with anticipation as Bruce pressed the device to his belly. Loki didn't know what he was looking at the picture was just a bunch of black and white blurry things. He looked harder at the screen when Bruce froze at certain points hoping to see something. When the man spoke Loki was not sure he heard right. He questioned Thor and looked to Bruce. "Babies?" Thor questioned for his brother.
