OiM - How it All Began

An amount of snow that the arms have accumulated fell from the arm and the arm shifted slightly.

Shepard looked closely at the snowman. He was extremely tense, and bumped the other arm slightly.

The same thing happened. The snowman's head shifted slightly from the movement.

The ever-cautious Shepard looked intently at the snowman. ANyone who could see well in the dark would see that his pupils expanded for a brief second, then he smiled.
He stepped forward and gently tapped the snowman's chest.

The snowman's head fell off with a soft PLOP and crunched in the snow. A few moment's later, two wooden arms were seen coming from being the snowman's chest and pulling a miniature snowman up to where the head had been. It was almost identical the the larger snowman, just a great deal smaller.
I stared at Shepard with it's coal eyes and tilted it's head slightly. Then, without warning, it's coal teeth reformed into a vicious snarl of pointed teeth and it jumped at him.

Shepard was somehow already moving by the time it attacked. He stepped easily to one side and his fist shot out for it.

It exploded in a soft puff of snow.

Shepard dusted off his hand with a sigh. "Huhhh. Too easy. Next time, try to surprise me, huh?"
He turned and walked back to the camp.

By the time he finished dusting off, he noticed another one beginning to climb up his leg. Another burst through the snowman's chest towards Shepard's back.
Three more climbed up from the snow.

"Well now," he said. He still didn't seem particularly threatened.
He dusted the one off of his leg, causing it to land by the ones on the ground. Realizing that one was on his back, Shepard shrugged and threw himself down on top of the four on the snow, crushing them and the one on his back.

The four snowmen brought themselves together to form a snowman the was four times larger. It had eight eyes and it's arms had gotten larger to suit it's new body size.
Shepard could see that the fingers on the snowman were more like claws.

He raised an eyebrow. "You must work for the MADHATTER. And apparently you're not a higher-up, since you don't appear to know who I am."
He sank into a fighting stance. "If you absolutely must, then come try me."

The snowman snarled and ran at Shepard.  

[Jokerman-EXE]

Shepard didn't move for a few seconds, then his eyes pulsed again and he ducked. The snowman's grasping claws went right above his head.
Instead of following up with an uppercut, Shepard slid to the side, just as the snowman's other sets of arms came together to try and grab him.
He smirked as he stepped back easily. "This is too easy. Come on, give me something fun!"
He ran forward, lept into the air, and spun, a roundhouse aimed for the snowman's head.

The snowman sank into the ground, leaving behind it's small hat and scarf.
