Lillian shook her head and tried to calm herself down but she was overwhelmed with all that had been going on. "I just want to forget..." She muttered as she covered her face.

He hugged her firmer to let her know she was in reliable arms.

Lillian sighed and wiped her tears as she stared at the lake. "I just wish it wasn't her..."

"No...no i don't want to talk about it." Lillian said standing up and crossing her arms over her chest and began walking down the dock.

He stood up slowly and wandered after her.
"What makes you not want to talk to others about these things?"

He stopped two feet away from her and sat on one of the logs jutting out of the ground, and used to hold up the dock.

He said reassuringly as he cupped his index finger and thumb, gently around Lillian's chin.

"Saying it like that makes me feel like this is an interrogation. I just want you to tell me about your friendship."
He took off his socks and shoes before sitting on the dock's edge. His feet fell into the water, good thing he took precautions. Montique had hit a growth spurt since the days when he was a rowdy teenager.

Lillian stood there completely lost. "It's your normal friendship..." She said as she walked over to the other side and sat down hugging her knees. "Well wwhat can i say...she was like a sister to me and her mother and father..well they were more like parents then my own. I still can't process the fact that this even happened."
